Mariana is a personable young woman, and we initially felt she would be a good fit after a meet-and-greet where we provided detailed written instructions. However, several incidents occurred during the sit that caused us significant concern for our dogs' safety. First, she arrived hours later than agreed upon without notifying us, leaving our dogs unattended outside with the pool technician while chemicals were being added. Later, she left personal items, including snacks and a full bottle of vitamins, accessible on the kitchen island. One of our dogs ingested them, risking toxicity. While Mariana did the right thing by calling us immediately to report the incident, she left the house for two hours shortly after we asked her to monitor the dog for medical distress. The final issue was a severe delay in communication. The following morning, we called and texted multiple times between 7:00 AM and noon to check on our dog’s health. We received no response until 12:30 PM. Due to the inconsistent communication and a lack of attention to our detailed instructions, we ultimately cut our trip short and flew home early. We cannot recommend her services for pets requiring close attention or reliable communication.

Mariana was wonderful and took care of our cat across two stays. We could tell from the updates she sent that our cat was so happy, and the home was left in great condition. She put effort to spend maximum time with our cat, and we are grateful for it!

Mariana was prompt and communicative and super interactive with our two pups and cat. She administered oral medication to the cat and attended to all three little ones’ needs. So appreciate her and will book her again!

Mariana was fantastic! We were in a time crunch and wanted to do a meet & greet asap. She came the same night. After the meet & greet my husband Will & I felt very comfortable leaving town & trusting her with our babies & house. She is great with communication & following directions. We came back to happy pups & a clean house. Thank you Mariana! Can’t wait to book with you again.

I booked Mariana for drop-in visits from March 13–16 but canceled after the first visit on March 13. I monitored the visit through my home security cameras and observed that she spent most of the time on her phone and did not interact with my cat, Luna. I had to call and message her asking her to engage and complete litter tasks, which made me very uncomfortable. I also observed her laying on my couch during the visit and asking for my Wi-Fi password, which I found inappropriate for a short drop-in service. My cat ended up going into my room, which typically only happens when she is being ignored and not engaged with. My room is a private space, and overall this experience felt like a lack of respect for boundaries in my home. I canceled the remaining visits the same day and arranged for someone else to care for my cat. I would not book again!!
