About: Experience with senior dogs that need more special attention due to their diet and medication needs giving them plenty of exercise or playing going on walks and making sure that they get all the attention and love that fur babies need. Currently work part time and available after 2 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Fully available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. I will have plenty of time to take care of all pets needs whether it’s check-ins, housesitting, walks, feeding and even baths if needed. This all depends on clients wishes and what the fur babies need will be based off of clients comfortability with me being in their own space. My general rule is making sure I leave space(s) clean and respecting others homes and boundaries due to me being a guest and being respectful of property and the safety of pets and fur babies.
About: I was raised with large purebred dogs, and now currently own 3 very happy cats! I have some veterinary clinic experience, so I know how to care for any animals that may need prescriptions or active treatments (including cat baths!). I have lots of experience with dog training, mainly for tricks - but I can also teach proper leash training and basic commands. I do not enable puppy behavior, even if it is super cute. I also used to foster a feral cat for 6 months before finding him his fur-ever home, so I can also acclimate with some spicy kitties! I work from home as a freelance artist! My own pets are set up with automatic feeders, water fountains, and automatic litter boxes, so I'm able to provide pet care for others virtually any day of the week, any time! I have a lot of flexibility. I believe communication is key! Especially with cats, which are quite sensitive to environmental changes, getting details on normal routine/habits are essential for seamless pet care experiences for everyone involved. I will be asking clients about their typical routine (including food + walking routines), any possible medical-related concerns, as well as how often they would like updates on their beloved fur babies.

“Natalie was amazing with Odin I really needed someone who can handle his energy and keep him separated from other dogs she was very kind and overall did the best she could to accommodate me and my dogs needs I will definitely be using her again! Thank you again!”
“Brenden was so friendly and accepted a last-minute request for dog walking! His communication was excellent and he was right on time. I highly recommend Brenden to care for your pets!”

“I’m so grateful to have found Karen who made me feel comfortable about my leash reactive corgis. She was calm, confident, and great with both of my corgis. It was clear she knew exactly what she was doing, and that peace of mind meant a lot to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and skilled with dogs.”

About: Hi! I’m Blake, a dog mom and dog-food nerd who loves turning pups into part of the family while their humans are away. I work from home most days, so your dog will get plenty of attention, supervision, and cuddles—not just a few quick potty breaks. I’m calm, patient, and very tuned in to dog body language, so shy or sensitive pups are absolutely welcome. I also run a small treat business called Clumsy Chef 🐾 (inspired by my own spoiled pup), where I focus on simple, high-quality ingredients, check us out at: clumsy-chef.square.site What I’m Like as a Sitter I treat guest dogs like my own: lots of praise, play, and gentle structure Tons of photo & video updates so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing Comfortable with basic meds in food (if needed and instructed) Great for dogs who like a quieter, cozy environment vs. a chaotic, crowded daycare Currently working from home as a founder called Clumsy Chef, your pup's private chef. Quite a flexible schedule on weekdays, however some days I do need to be in the lab, so do pm me for scheduling! I I don’t have yard, but I can take your fur baby on walk in our neighborhood garden and there’s a dog park near by as well!
“Sierra loves animals as much as I do, is prompt with our walking schedule, and is willing to go the extra mile. I couldn't recommend her enough if you're in need of her services. She's welcome to take care of my Eva for as long as she's willing.”

About: I’ve been caring for Bella for the past 4 years and Milo since October of last year. I’ve also grown up with dogs since I was about 5 years old, so caring for pets has always been a part of my life. From daily walks and playtime to feeding, cleaning up, and making sure they feel safe and loved, I understand how important it is to treat every pet like family. I know every pet has their own personality, and I always take the time to make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I work full-time in the evenings, so I’m available for morning and early afternoon walks and drop-in visits on most days. I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and always do my best to be flexible. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. I always take the time to help pets feel comfortable and cared for while respecting your home as if it were my own. We’re happy to take your dog on a walk 1-2 times daily. We look forward to assisting you with your pet care needs! I am a full-time homemaker and my husband works from home, so we are flexible with fitting pet care into our routine. We can accommodate a variety of schedules. I have a fenced yard (with pool) and large living room. There are many parks nearby and neighborhood streets for walking. It’s a very pet friendly place.

About: Hello! I have been a Rover pet sitter in San Diego for the past 7 years. I just moved to Las Vegas and I am looking forward to meeting and caring for new 4-legged friends! At this time, I am offering house-sitting in the owner's home, dog walking and drop-ins. (I am temporarily in an apartment and will resume dog boarding when I find my own new home.) I grew up with dogs including golden retrievers, labs, and bull mastiffs. I absolutely love them all! I can't have one of my own because I travel for work and I couldn't bear to leave one in a kennel over and over, so Rover is perfect for me - I'd love to spoil your dog(s) when my schedule allows, and get my dog fix at the same time! When I was a kid, our family found an injured dog in the woods. We brought her home and nursed her back to health. I've been in love with dogs ever since. I was responsible for our labs while I was growing up: feeding, walking, playing and exercising them. The second I'm able to get my own pup, I will. In the meantime, I will love your pets every moment they are with me and I will keep them happy, safe and wagging their tails! *Update: I have been a 5-star Rover sitter since 2019. Absolutely love it! I am a loving, caring, responsible and honest pet sitter. I do require a meet & greet as well as pets that are already house-trained. I cannot care for aggressive, loud animals that haven’t been trained to interact with humans. I work from home (or travel for work) so if I am house-sitting at your home, I can be with your pets all day long. They will get lots of love and attention! For walks and drop-in's, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate most schedules starting mid-morning. I love animals and will give your babies tons of affection and attention, plus all of their needs - meals, walks, medications, assistance for elderly or disabled pets, etc. They will be the center of my world while in my care!
“Alicia has been great. This was my first time using Rover and I was a bit nervous. She has been very punctual and reliable. My dog absolutely loves her and has been so happy with the extra exercise. 10/10 would recommend.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Summerlin South
Tony went above and beyond anything I expected. Not only were my dogs incredibly well cared for, but it was obvious they were genuinely loved and given extra attention every step of the way. I received regular updates, photos, and thoughtful follow-ups that gave me complete peace of mind. It’s rare to find someone so reliable, communicative, and truly dedicated to the animals they care for. My pups were spoiled and clearly well looked after. The level of service was impeccable, and it made all the difference knowing they were in such good hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
