I've always loved every animal growing up. I probably begged my parents for every type of animal from a dog to a raccoon even. They finally caved in when I was about 10 and got me a black pug who i took care of as my first pet care experience. Later my love for animals lead me to major in veterinary science in college however the schooling was a bit too difficult for me. Even though that did not work out I take any chance I can get to work with animals because I love it. I am currently in my senior year of college at reno, now majoring in agriculture science. While in college during summers and winter breaks when I am in vegas for two years I worked at the doggy day care and boarding facility called dogtopia. At dogtopia I started as a canine coach and became fully trained in dog behaviors and language. As a coach I maintained control of a large groups of dogs, up to 35-40 dogs at one time. Although there were many I engaged, played, and enjoyed caring for each of the dogs. I always maintained a clean and safe playroom for the dogs and am very comfortable around all dog breeds and sizes. I was later promoted to the rover position at dogtopia where I train and support the Canine Coaches, prepare dogs meals & give medication/supplements per instructions, bathe dogs and attended to dogs who were boarding, including on Sunday’s when the store was closed. I also have a roomate in college who has a cat who I have taken care of so I have experience taking care of cats as well. Overall I just love animals and would be happy to help take care of yours. :)
