“Connie was awesome! She took good care of my old man dog while I was away and sent updates and photos. She was responsive and reliable. I will definitely consider her for future pet sitting needs”
About: As a remote professional who works full-time from home, I offer a premium level of care defined by constant supervision and flexible availability. While I am newly launching my professional services on Rover, I have a lifelong background of personal pet ownership and informal care for the pets of friends and neighbors. What sets my service apart is my 100% open availability during the day. Your pet will not be left alone for long stretches; instead, they will enjoy a structured routine, frequent potty breaks, and immediate attention whenever they need it. I am highly organized, exceptionally communicative, and committed to following your exact care instructions. I maintain a calm, quiet, and predictable home environment that is ideal for pets who experience separation anxiety or those who simply thrive on human companionship throughout the day. You can expect regular text updates and photos, giving you complete peace of mind while you are away. As a remote professional working full-time from home, my schedule is exceptionally flexible, allowing me to integrate dedicated pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I am fully available throughout the day for continuous supervision, regular potty breaks, and interactive playtime. Whether providing boarding, daycare, or house sitting, my work-from-home setup ensures your pet is never left unattended for long stretches and receives reliable, attentive care seven days a week. Safety is my highest priority, and my home is optimized to provide a secure, stress-free environment. I feature a fully fenced, secure yard for safe outdoor play and exercise. For socialization, I have friendly resident pets to keep your dog company; however, I maintain a highly organized space where I can easily crate, separate, or provide private zones for your pet if they prefer quiet time or require a gradual introduction. I strictly follow your specific feeding, medication, and safety instructions to maintain their exact home routine.

“Samantha was amazing! She would send frequent pictures and updates and took the best care of our boys!! We will definitely reach out again when we go out of town!”

“Kaylee is outstanding! I took a leap hiring her as I had not used her before, and I think she may be newer to Rover. But, she is definitely not new to caring for animals or housesitting. She sent lots of pictures, gave me a lot of updates, and I could tell the animals were very comfortable with her and got a lot of love and attention. My house was also very tidy when I came home and little things done I didn’t ask for. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible pet sitter. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you, Kaylee, for being such a loving pet sitter. You had my mind at ease our entire trip.”

About: Had dogs my whole life. Mines a coward and we'd need to check that he gets along with yours first, he'll get bullied if I'm not careful, the poor thing I stay home all day and spend as much of my time as possible outside. Your dog may come back muddy though, the messier you get the more fun you had and all! I am home all day with eyes/ears on the pets nearly constantly. I also spend so much time in environments that encourage explorative play and will keep most dogs too busy to get bored and act out in the first place. If a pet did act out, there's more than enough space in my place to separate animals and allow them to decompress. If at your place, mine is kennel trained for the same idea.
About: Ever since I was a spunky 9 year old, I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals. From kitties, to horses, to reptiles, to chickens, I’ve got you covered! (Not a certified trainer, but have training abilities) Need medications given, done! Need potty breaks and long walks, done! Need super specifics, done! Cuddles are always a given and I’ll love them like my own. When they’re here, they’re family! Currently working from home so it’s easy to get up and go when needed. Have lots of time to spend with the babies for play time! 2 very well mannered kitties live here with lots of room to run around the 2 story house plus a fenced in back yard. No doggie door.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13. I’ve watched a group of 3 dogs, 2 huskies and 1 lab, every month for years. I love dogs and they love me. I’ve been relied on to walk, feed and bathe pets. I’m currently a student at California Baptist University but my classes are in the morning so I’m free to do any activities by 1pm Monday-Friday and all day Saturday-Sunday. I have 2 dogs at home that I care for everyday. I love playing with and have a lot of different skills to offer. I am able to take the dogs for walks or runs, or just hang out with the pup.
About: Hi my name is Sarah and I used to be the lovely owner of a Red Nose Pitbull named Mika for over 8 years. I currently don't have any pets, because I loved her so much and don't feel ready to have a new furry friend. However, I would love to still spend time with yours! All my life, animals have been around me from cats, birds, dogs, and little critters. Animals are such beautiful creatures who have the kindest of hearts and souls. For almost all of high school, I prided that I was a vegetarian and animal advocate. I still advocate for animals any chance I get! I always encourage people to take good care of their pups well being and I always encourage people to adopt! Animals need our help and little do we know we need theirs too! My love of dogs came full circle came during high school. I would go to the shelter to look at all the animals since it was right down the street. I encouraged my neighbor to adopt a lovely Cocker Spaniel named Lady and I begged my grandma to get our Dorgi Rockcee. This is where my love for dogs expanded. People who take in dogs are wonderful people and they deserve to know that not only their dog but their family member and friend is well taken care of. I'm always available for questions and concerns from an owner who has given my the wonderful opportunity to take care of their pup. I always like to give updates and communicate with the owner so they know how the experience is going and be able to provide feedback to make Fido's life better! I love taking pictures of my own dogs and I know it's a wonderful treasure to have for owners who might miss or want to check up on their pup. I'm a big advocate for doggie etiquette, so rest assured that I will make sure your pup is safe and secure away from dogs who might be a little on the fence. Also, I will make sure that your pup behaves the way you want him/her too! As a Pitbull owner, I know the stigmas that these types of breeds get. If you have a Pitbull, German Shepard, Doberman, Rottweiler. I am not afraid. I will do my best to make sure that people feel comfortable around your dog but also make sure your pup is comfortable as well. If you have an aggressive animal, I will do my best to work on the aggression during their time with me. I know it can be a scary and hurtful issue. I've been there myself. Whether big or small, I will make sure your dog is safe and other dogs around them are as well! I usually will take dogs for a morning walk before breakfast because it usually stimulates their appetite. Also, it's a great way to train since they are ready for food and treats will be more exciting. After a long walk, I like to give the pups a meal. Usually, after they eat I give time for their tummies to digest by passing the time with cuddles and eventually play time with toys. Then I usually like to find a scenic area for the next walk. Then usually dinner time happens after a few hours and then they get their last walk. I do my best to get dogs out of the house since their natural environment is outside. I usually like to have dogs go out 2-3 times a day so that they are able to get a good nights rest and have low-stress levels by exercising them. Whatever way you want your dog taken care of I will oblige! Lastly, I'm typically free in the afternoons and evenings but I can do my best to work our morning schedules for weekends. Meaning you get to sleep in or relax in bed while your pup is getting walked! I'm a full-time student, but I always make sure my schedules can work to accommodate your needs! Animals deserve the best care we can give them. I always endevour to make a n animals life filled with love and happiness! I currently work from home and have a lot of time to take care of your pups! I'm available anytime 9-3:00 and 4:00 onward I live in a gated community with lots of walking space and greenery. Your pups have access to every part of the house. I usually will give the doggies toys and food to play with in the living area and they can lay on the cool tile or with a blanket if preferred.
“I was very comfortable leaving my dogs with lani! I was extremely nervous leaving my pups over night but she was always there early enough and whenever I asked her to check on them! I will book her again when needed :)”
“WHAT A BLESSING SHE IS!! Yaritza was amazing and kept me updated the entire length of my vacation. So nice to know that someone who cared so much for animals was with my sweet 14 year-old fur baby!! I would hire her again in a second!”

“Jorie did a great job watching my 3 pets over the holiday weekend! She has walked our dogs before, and this was the first overnight. She was communicative leading up to the stay and throughout. I think we got about 10 pictures within the first 24 hours! One of my dogs is very anxious, and Jorie was so good about being patient with her. My other dog has epilepsy and takes medication. She was able to administer that with no issues. Our cat is older and tends to sleep in her little house all day, but she was all over Jorie and loved hanging out with her! I would absolutely hire again and highly recommend!”

About: I have always had a dog. But now I don't. I showed poms and German Shepherds. Our 28 year old son lives with us and he was our handler. I miss having a dog but just can't have one right now. My husband and I are retired. I consider dogs to be part of the family and not pets. So like children I only want one or 2 at a time so I can provide my full attention. I will be responsible and reliable with your baby. They will never be left alone since there will be someone here at all times. I am very good at puppy training ( puppy boot camp) and I am patient Don't be surprised if your baby is better behaved after spending time with our family.
“Olivia did an amazing job! She took wonderful care of my pup and kept him excellent company, kept me in the loop, and sent a lot of pictures. My dog had a great time with her and I would absolutely hire her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I have 2 Labs myself that are family dogs. I am very responsible when it comes to walking dogs, playing with dogs, washing dogs, feeding dogs and simply loving them like my own. I worked at an animal hospital for 2 years and I feel very comfortable taking care of any kinds of dogs. Animal love is very important to me. Friends and family have personally reached out to me to stay with their pups while they are away at work or vacation because they trust me and also know how much I love and care for dogs!! I’m currently a student in college. I have classes 2 days a week so I have lots of down time to be able to spend time with your loved ones! My classes are only 1 hour 30 mins long 2 days a week. I feel comfortable in homes as long as you show me around and let me know where everything is for your dog. This is important to me because if I know where everything is I know I can be trusted on the daily to do what is needed for your dog. I care for pets by taking them outside or on a walk when it’s cooler outside. I love playing with dogs and snuggling up with them as well.

About: I can teach any dog to swim. I’ve previously trained puppies to be obedient to commands. Also, I love to exercise so your dog will be getting plenty of playtime and walks! Keeping myself informed on any concerning behaviors they may exhibit is important to me. My special love for animals comes from taking care of them my whole life! I’m a 19 year old college student who loves taking care of animals! My schedule is fairly open since my schoolwork is all online based. I am able to give my full attention to each dog I look after. Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Desert View Point walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Desert View Point maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Desert View Point choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
