Usually a good indicator how they are when you pick them up and my pup was SO calm, happy, and dead asleep for our entire 5 hr drive home, which never happens! About: I've had cats and dogs since I was young. I was an only child so responsibility came with time but my love for animals came immediately. Bathing, feeding, and walking didn't seem so tough when you love em so much. In my 40s now, and I have learned a lot about their needs and wants. I also know how important our furbabies are to our lives and our livelihoods. They are more than a pet, for sure! I currently do not work, which makes my schedule pretty much open for most any day and time to accommodate all of your schedule needs. I have over 2,000 sqft of living space for roaming, or crating- whatever the need, or can be filled. There are no rules for pets from me, unless requested from a parent. I live in a pet friendly community that has 3 different parks within a block to accommodate walking/ exercising. I am playful and attentive, and your baby will thrive. I am currently not working, so I'm available all day long to care for your loved one. More time to play and to have cuddles! I have 3 floors of house to roam freely. If a crate is needed, I've plenty of space to help them feel right at home. When we go outside, I require a leash to make sure we stay together at all times. If I'm at your place, I am able to accommodate your routine as best as possible. If you've a yard, a preferred park, or specific walking paths, then we can maintain those schedules without issue.

About: Experience with senior dogs that need more special attention due to their diet and medication needs giving them plenty of exercise or playing going on walks and making sure that they get all the attention and love that fur babies need. Currently work part time and available after 2 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Fully available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. I will have plenty of time to take care of all pets needs whether it’s check-ins, housesitting, walks, feeding and even baths if needed. This all depends on clients wishes and what the fur babies need will be based off of clients comfortability with me being in their own space. My general rule is making sure I leave space(s) clean and respecting others homes and boundaries due to me being a guest and being respectful of property and the safety of pets and fur babies.

About: I've had a huge love for animals especially dogs since we got our first dog when I was 4 years old; hence, I've learned responsibility to take care of animals at a very young age. I've always loved petting, cuddling & playing with them as well. I’ve dog sat a few breeds on & off since I was 13 for my neighbors & cousins. I've been a coparent for 3 dachshunds & 2 cats. One of them, Molly, being a senior dachshund that passed in 2021. The last 2 years of her life I cooked her people’s food, changed diapers due to her becoming incontinent, taught her how to open her mouth for medicine, & made sure her dog pen was as comfortable as possible. She also had dementia, in addition to her sight & hearing almost gone. I still walked her daily because that's when she was the happiest. She lived to be 16.5 years old & was never sick or in pain with perfect health until she passed peacefully. In 2023, I helped foster a Pembroke corgi, Loki, I walked him & helped teach him how to be social because the first year of his life was spent locked in a cage. I helped my sister to teach & acclimate him to normal functioning activities to learn how to be a dog. We then rehomed him with loving parents who we keep in touch with to this day. I walk my dogs daily in the mornings, feed them with healthy toppers & ice-cold water every morning & lots of playtime. I’ve traveled with my dogs for many years & taken cares of them while on vacation with us. I am a part-time nursing student at CSN, I live at home & don't work so I have a flexible schedule. I'm an early bird & usually begin my day at the gym. My past drop-in visits I usually do on the way to the gym or the store. I can always stay with them in your home & study to keep them company, if desired. After coming home from school or running errands is my typical time that I do second drop-ins if needed. I have a large pool in our backyard, I teach them how to swim & get out of the pool, locked gates, doggie door with a doorbell so I know when they go in & out, I walk them daily so if they do get out, they know how to get home. My dogs aren't runners because due to being walked everyday they don't have the desire to run out the door.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience in taking care of animals. I was raised in a rural area, where all we have is animals. I've worked in a veterinary office, and even under the eyes of professionals, the level of comfort when boarding is lacking. I currently have (1) adopted chihuahua who is gentle and friendly. However, I am occasionally the “go-to friend” for dog sitting needs. I am home all day during the week and am off on weekends. Although manners are applauded, being comfortable often involves their own plush blanket next to me on the couch. Overall, I'm a very patient and loving soul...just looking to share my free time with your fur babies. I work evenings and am home all day with the pups. The time I’m away is usually when the pups are in bed for the night. I let out when I return home and am up bright and early to spend my day with them! I have a fully fenced in brick wall with a shaded back yard. Dependent on the dogs’ needs and training, I can happily use crates when not attended, or I have dog gates to secure your pup in an open space with all the needs while I am away. Dogs will be in own safe space.

“Andrea and Doug have watched Macho during the day in the past (each time a great experience), and this time we need overnight boarding for Macho for 5-6 nights. This is Macho's first ever overnight boarding experience and we were nervous, and because of this we thought Andrea and Doug would be the best choice. We were right and we (and Macho) were so happy with our experience! Like daycare, Andrea and Doug provided continuous video and pictures each day and night. Macho had daily activities set up, play time indoors, lounging time, food/snack breaks, play time outdoors (in a beautiful, clean, and safe backyard), and nap time. Macho was so happy and well rested when we picked him up. It really did seem like he took a fun and relaxing vacation! Macho is usually very picky with his food/meals, but with Andrea and Doug, he ate... not his usual 1 meal but 3 mini meals a day! They were very thoughtful with playing around with the preparation from our ingredients we gave them, and made it work. We may be on to something! We will be re-booking in the near future. Andrea and Doug are very kind and good people. Highly recommended. Thank you!”

From the beginning, he was caring, attentive, and clearly experienced with dogs. He sent us daily photos and updates, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away.
