“Kimberly was AWESOME! We booked her pretty much last minute two days before we needed her as we were invited on a last minute boating trip with family. She was able to come meet my three pups the day before she was needed and asked many questions. She wanted to make sure we felt safe with her coming in and wanted to keep our pups routine as close to normal as possible. Kimberly stay about 45 minutes for both stays and made sure all the pups got treats, went potty, had fresh water and were feed. She took several notes for their rover report and took pictures as well. Overall we were very happy and comfortable with Kimberly coming in and checking on our babies while we were gone. We will for sure be booking with her again in the future!!!”
“Heather visited with Ruby before and were friends from the beginning. She was on time at the agreed hours and took care of Ruby with no issues. I found her to be friendly, reliable and pampering towards Ruby. I would not hesitate to have her take care of Ruby anytime. Thanks Heather, till next time!”

“Devin has again made it possible for us to get away without worrying about our dogs. He always sends pictures and an update which is very comforting. We would gladly recommend him for pet sitting.”

“Brittany was amazing!! She took amazing care of my fur babies the entire time, my flight home got delayed and she still got up and took care of them. I wouldn’t trust anybody with my. babies more than her!!!”

“Andrea is a gem! I’m so happy I found her and met with her to potentially visit our frenchies. She was so organized and took notes and kept in consistent contact with me. Very punctual and appears to really love dogs. One Frenchie is alpha and very protective and it seemed that she was able to interact and take her potty on a leash and stroll her and play with her afterwards in our condo with no problems. Lucy, the Frenchie, got a great report card from Andrea. I think Andrea will come back. We are only part-time residents in Madeira Beach but I will definitely reach out to book her again. Makes my life so much easier. Thank you Andrea for being a dog lover and doing this service. 🥰”

“Anne did so good for the first time staying with Cooper. She interacted with him and was very pleased with her handling & caring of our baby. We hope she will stay with Cooper again.”

“Dylan went above and beyond to get to our house to take good care of our sweet rabbit for 9 days during a huge winter storm. He shoveled and had to walk in from the road due to all the snow and he kept us up to date daily.”

She was so special to me, so I can ensure that I will always treat your pets with the most kindness and respect to honor that bond. I am currently going to college, but I have a lot of flexibility. It is summer so classes are not currently running, and I have more time to care for animals! While boarding, I have a fenced in yard as well as a nice neighborhood for walks. Either while boarding or pet sitting, I make sure that I learn their routines from you and make sure that I follow them as closely as possible.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - South Pasadena
Our 7-year-old American Bulldog has always been a challenge to find care for. Until now, the only person we trusted to watch him was my brother-in-law. Our dog gets protective and anxious when we leave, and because of his size, many people are understandably hesitant to come into our home without us there. Dan went above and beyond by taking the time to meet our dog several times before our trip and doing a few trial visits to build trust. His patience, kindness, and calm demeanor made all the difference, and he ended up being the perfect fit for our pup. Knowing we had someone we could truly rely on gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We no longer have to stress about leaving town, and that is priceless. Dan is amazing, and we couldn't recommend him more highly. We can't wait to use his services again in the future!

Andrea was truly fantastic! She was so professional and so great with Lady. She responded quickly and made me feel comfortable right away. We will use her again for sure! Nothing better than finding someone who really cares about your dog and having real peace of mind to leave them comfy at home.

Alison was so awesome! My dogs absolutely loved her and when I came home from my trip I could tell they really enjoyed their time with her while I was away. Alison was especially considerate with my senior dachshund who I was quite nervous to leave, but her separation anxiety was minimal thanks to all the love she got from Alison! Alison was great with juggling the needs of her along with my high energy 4 year old Irish setter. We will definitely be repeat clients!

Heather visited with Ruby before and were friends from the beginning. She was on time at the agreed hours and took care of Ruby with no issues. I found her to be friendly, reliable and pampering towards Ruby. I would not hesitate to have her take care of Ruby anytime. Thanks Heather, till next time!

Hilary is AMAZING! 😍😍 We are anxious cat Moms because we are home with our 3 cats most days. We were looking for someone who is great at communication, loves animals, and someone we vibe with. Hilary met and exceeded those on our first meet up, our cats were instantly comfortable. The first cat sitting visit went so well. Hilary sent pictures upon arriving, more of our kitties during the visit, and a message when she left. We could not be happier with Hilary. Our kitties are excited for their next hang out with her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
