I have over 20 years of experience caring for my own pets and pets of friends and family, and I have been with Rover since 2017. My friends call me “the dog whisperer” because even their shy/skittish dogs love me. I have experience with puppies, elderly dogs, bathing, administering medication, overnight stays, as well as experience with cats, caged animals, fish and even a rooster! I am open to having animals here as long as they are completely house-broken. My schedule allows me to accommodate almost any need you may have. Dan has been incredibly kind and patient with our pitty, who can be wary of strangers. He respects our dog’s boundaries and takes the time to listen when we explain his triggers and needs. Dan is also accommodating and quick to respond! We look forward to booking with him whenever we go out of town. Highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars! Above and Beyond! Dan was absolutely amazing! I booked him last minute for a late-night walk with my doggos, and because apparently I enjoy making life unnecessarily complicated, I accidentally sent him to my OLD address! 🤦♀️ Not only was Dan incredibly understanding, but he willingly drove nearly 9 miles out of his way to get to the correct address and make sure my pups were taken care of. No complaints, no attitude, just genuine kindness, flexibility, and professionalism. It’s not every day you find someone willing to go that far above and beyond, especially late at night and on short notice. Dan truly saved the day (or rather, the night!), and I couldn’t be more grateful. I would absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate dog walker who genuinely cares. Thank you, Dan! You earned every one of these five stars! 🐾❤️
Dan was a total life saver. I had an important trip planned but my dog with chronic health issues had a flare a couple days before I had to leave and my prior arrangements fell through. Dan accommodated us at the last minute, was fully understanding of the situation, and went above and beyond following near hourly instructions for meds, feeding, and working around my dog’s anxiety. I came back to a happy, healthy dog and my home just as I had left it. I will definitely be using Dan again.

Safety, trust & environment
At a client’s home, my goal is always to keep the pet’s normal routine as much as possible. I strive to make the pets as comfortable as possible while strictly following all guidelines and instructions provided by the client. For care in my home, I have a small apartment but I can and do take the pups out for several walks per day. I live in an excellent neighborhood for walking, with lots of green, shade and a church down the street with a beautiful park and pond that the pups love.

A typical day
Every dog/pet is different, so I always defer to the client’s instructions for play/exercise. I’ve had some older pups who don’t exercise as much, and I’ve had super active pups where we played intense games of fetch every day. Whatever play/exercise needs your pets have, I will be sure to accommodate all requests.
