“Excellent care and attention! Nastasia is very loving and caring with my Chihuahua Rasta- and I absolutely love getting all the photo and video updates! I can tell my puppy is happy to have her come hang out with her!”

“Alison was fantastic. She came by for some drop-ins while I was out of town for the weekend. She was extremely communicative, came right on schedule, made sure every one of my dog's needs was attended to, and was super easy to work with. Zero complaints.”

“We loved Blaize! Deff recommend!! She made sure she asked plenty of important questions, showing that she truly cares for your dog. She texted and sent awesome pics everyday, that kept me at ease. Her personality matched ours which made us feel like we picked our perfect person. Can't wait to see/use her more in the future!”

About: I am a friend to all animals!! I'm from Florida so I love all kinds of wildlife and have a big appreciation for nature and love to be outdoors, love to take dogs on long walks and go to the beach with them. I love all dogs big and small, so I can handle a few different dogs on a walk. I'm fine with any activity level, dogs who like to nap all day or dogs who need to be taken out multiple times. I am also the worlds biggest cat person as I currently am mom to 3 cats, Sasha, Isis, and Frank!! I do absolutely wonderful with cats and am very good at taking care of them and understanding their needs, their boundaries, and their social cues. I've also had bunnies, fish, turtles, and birds as well so my love for animals goes deep and I have experience with a lot. I understand how important they are to us so I would take care of any pet like they are my own and will make sure they are given lots of affection I work from home so I can take care of pets every day. I wake up at 7 am to begin taking care of my cats. I have availabilities 7 days a week. I can take 2-3 pets on for boarding at a time, depending on size. If your pet has a specific routine just fill me in on the details and I will treat them as if they were my own! I live in a home with a backyard and multiple rooms for space for pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood where I can walk dogs for miles and miles! If a pet requires any type of specific space, I have room to provide it for them.
“Anika did a wonderful job taking care of our dog. She was great at keeping us updated on what was going on with our dog at home. She even made extra visits to let our dog out when our dog wouldn't go outside due to bad weather. She really seems to love animals we would definitely recommend her to others.”

“Sam did a great job, despite Freddie's shyness. She sent me pictures of him (hiding) every day. I have cameras, so could see her coming and going and trying to lure him out to play. I hope to have her sit again next month.”

About: With a background in Search and Recovery (SAR) training, I offer more than just a walk around the block. I’ve spent my life living with and learning from breeds of all shapes and sizes - from the stubborn charm of Bulldogs to the high intelligence of German Shepherds. Whether your dog is a high energy athlete or a puppy still learning the ropes, I provide a structured, safe, and engaging environment. I also specialize in board and trains meaning I understand how to communicate with dogs effectively. I am currently raising my own GSD puppy and managing two cats, so I am an expert at multi-pet household dynamics and “puppy chaos” management. I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur kids! I’m available all day and tend to my own animals all day (and sometimes night) as well. I have a fenced yard and a friendly GSD puppy who can cuddle and play. I have a dedicated “animal room” where your pups crate will go so they can relax after a long day of fun.
“Emma is amazing! I have 3 dogs that can be a handful alone but are even more so when they work as a team. She saved our holiday trip by being able to take the dogs on short notice and absolutely crushed it after our normal sitter had to cancel. I don’t advertise often but in this case Emma is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Pasadena
Our 7-year-old American Bulldog has always been a challenge to find care for. Until now, the only person we trusted to watch him was my brother-in-law. Our dog gets protective and anxious when we leave, and because of his size, many people are understandably hesitant to come into our home without us there. Dan went above and beyond by taking the time to meet our dog several times before our trip and doing a few trial visits to build trust. His patience, kindness, and calm demeanor made all the difference, and he ended up being the perfect fit for our pup. Knowing we had someone we could truly rely on gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We no longer have to stress about leaving town, and that is priceless. Dan is amazing, and we couldn't recommend him more highly. We can't wait to use his services again in the future!

Andrea was truly fantastic! She was so professional and so great with Lady. She responded quickly and made me feel comfortable right away. We will use her again for sure! Nothing better than finding someone who really cares about your dog and having real peace of mind to leave them comfy at home.

Alison was so awesome! My dogs absolutely loved her and when I came home from my trip I could tell they really enjoyed their time with her while I was away. Alison was especially considerate with my senior dachshund who I was quite nervous to leave, but her separation anxiety was minimal thanks to all the love she got from Alison! Alison was great with juggling the needs of her along with my high energy 4 year old Irish setter. We will definitely be repeat clients!

Heather visited with Ruby before and were friends from the beginning. She was on time at the agreed hours and took care of Ruby with no issues. I found her to be friendly, reliable and pampering towards Ruby. I would not hesitate to have her take care of Ruby anytime. Thanks Heather, till next time!

Anika is hands down the best Rover sitter my fur kids have ever had. We all will miss her as we are moving out of state. I can’t recommend her enough. She’s responsive, reliable, communicative and writes the best report cards- I feel like I’m really caught up on the animals with her in charge. If you’re looking for a good sitter look no further!

I cannot recommend Tessa highly enough! From the moment we first reached out, her responsiveness was exceptional. Appointment requests were always answered within minutes, making scheduling incredibly easy and stress-free. One of our biggest concerns was having someone we could truly trust in our home—and this sitter exceeds all expectations. She respected our space, kept everything tidy, and we always felt completely comfortable knowing our dog was in such capable and reliable hands. What truly sets Tessa apart is her remarkable attentiveness to our dog’s special needs. Our aging Weimaraner has a unique diet and medication schedule and some specific behavioral quirks, but Tessa took the time to learn every detail and made sure our dog felt happy and safe. We regularly received thoughtful updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while away. If you’re searching for a quick-to-respond, trustworthy, and attentive pet sitter, look no further. Our experience has been nothing short of outstanding!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
