“My husband and I suddenly found ourselves out of town and needing someone to take care of our pup the last day of our vacation. Kristen was able to help us on very short notice not once but twice (as our flight home got delayed). She did a fantastic job with our Marley, recognizing that she has a lot of energy and running with her, feeding her and sending us plenty of pictures of her and keeping in communication with us. We are so SO thankful Kristen was able to take care of Marley. We can tell she truly cares about the pets she babysits. We will definitely be using her again!”

About: Hi! I'm Kelsey. I graduated from USF with a science degree and left my job in clinical research to hangout with animals all day. This is my full time job (and dream job, tehe). I'm basically a huge dog nerd. When I was a little kid I would fall asleep studying my collection of 13 dog encyclopedias (hope my parent still have those). My love of dogs has followed me into adulthood - I've trained my own late German Shepherd in Search and Recovery as well as protection, and I have fostered many dogs (and cats!) over the years. I've cared for chihuahuas, to Great Danes, to bulldogs and everything in between. I truly love them all and appreciate all their little quirks and unique ways of communicating. I'm super dog nerd, but spending time with my own cats brings me immeasurable joy as well. I even started a little catnip company for my cat. Anyway, I would love to care for your pet! Looking forward to hearing from you :) Pet care is my full-time job, so caring for animals is what my days revolve around! I have a flexible schedule and am able to build my day around the needs of my clients rather than fitting pet care in around another job. I'm generally available for walks and drop-ins throughout the day, and I'm happy to work with you to find a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable and on their normal routine. My goal is to give each pet plenty of attention and make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Safety is always my first priority. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, triggers, and any special instructions before caring for them. I'm attentive to doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, and anything else that could create a safety issue, and I never assume that every pet has the same needs. In my clients' homes, I'm respectful of their space and leave things exactly as I found them. I'm careful about securing doors and gates when I leave and making sure pets have everything they need before I go. I also believe trust is earned through good communication. I'll keep you updated during visits, let you know if I notice anything unusual, and always reach out if I have any questions or concerns. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention while you're away.
About: Hi! I’m currently finishing my certification with CATCH Canine Trainers Academy (positive reinforcement), and I am a soon to be working closely with an experienced trainer. I am good at reading dog body language and helping dogs feel safe and relaxed in my home. As a semi-retired teacher, I’m home throughout the day and structure my time around walks, enrichment, play, and rest, so visiting dogs naturally become part of a predictable, low-stress routine. As a semi-retired teacher, I structure my day around walks, playtime, enrichment, and quiet rest periods, so visiting or boarding dogs easily fold into that routine. I’m home throughout the day, which helps me give lots of attention and keep a calm, predictable environment. My home fully fenced with plenty of sectioned off spaces including a small pool for any dog who loves a little structured swim time - calling all Goldens and Labs!! 🤿💦🐟🏊 For dogs who enjoy activity, I offer: *Supervised yard play and enrichment *Optional splash/play time in the pool (weather permitting & always supervised) Snuffle mats, puzzle games, and structured downtime.

About: I have always had pets in my home, like dogs and/or cats, when I was in highschool many family friends and neighbors trusted me to pet sit for them while they would be away for a week or two. I would stay and play with the pets, feed them, and provide fresh water every day, go on walks, and keep in touch with the owners. I am in college and I work in a lab that cares for crested geckos where I feed them, and look at their environment levels (e.g. humidity) to make sure they are healthy! Caring for animals always brightens my day and I would be happy to care for your furry (or not) babies whether you are at work, or going on a trip! For the summer I am not in school, but I am doing participating in my lab for internship credits with this my schedule is pretty open on weekends and weekdays so I would be able to spend time with your pets however long they want or need! I would be able to do home visits, including drop-ins, staying etc. Whatever you feel comfortable with. I would follow what your pet needs like what kind of food, if there is any medications, any kinds of routines they have, etc. What I provide will depending on what the pet needs, like if they are an older dog or a couch potato I can do a slow walk or just chill and be a couch potato. Or if they are a very active pet I will dedicate play time or outside time. I would also be in contact with the owner if anything alarming occurs or even just a picture of your pet.
“Excellent care and attention! Nastasia is very loving and caring with my Chihuahua Rasta- and I absolutely love getting all the photo and video updates! I can tell my puppy is happy to have her come hang out with her!”

“We loved Blaize! Deff recommend!! She made sure she asked plenty of important questions, showing that she truly cares for your dog. She texted and sent awesome pics everyday, that kept me at ease. Her personality matched ours which made us feel like we picked our perfect person. Can't wait to see/use her more in the future!”

About: I have been pet sitting for neighbors and family members for almost 4 years and have taken care of all sizes and ages of pets I am currently a student at Penn State but I’m off for the summer. I have plenty of time to take pets on walks and keep them entertained. I would be sure to take good care of all pets by feeding them on schedule, taking them on walks/playing with them, and bathing them so when you get back from your trip it’s like you never left.
“Emily is very prompt with her communication and is very attentive to the needs of our pups which can fluctuate week to week. We appreciate her flexibility and communication when we can’t be there!! Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been loving animals my entire life & treat every pet like my own. I’ve owned and cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including high-energy breeds, senior dogs, and pets with medical needs. I currently care for my own dog, Auggie (8), who requires daily medication, a special diet, and extra attention due to anxiety and seizures, so I’m very comfortable handling detailed care routines and staying attentive to a pet’s health and behavior!! I’ve also helped raise and care for multiple dogs over the years, including training basic obedience, grooming, and managing multi-dog households. I regularly help care for a Siberian Husky (high energy!) and have experience with reactive and strong personalities. In addition to dogs, I’ve pet-sat for cats and small animals (hamsters, fish, reptiles, etc.) for neighbors and friends since I was young. I’ve even been running my own little pet-sitting and dog-walking gigs since I was a kid, and this has always been something I really love, just getting to be around animals. ❤️ I’m very communicative, send regular updates and photos, and make sure you feel completely comfortable while you’re away. Your pet will be safe, loved, and cared for like my own fur baby family! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week for drop-ins, walks, and in-home pet care. As I begin my part-time contract work, I will continue to have flexibility with availability, especially during mornings, afternoons, lunch breaks, and weeknights. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide consistent, dependable care that fits their needs! :) I provide in-home care in your pet’s own environment, where they can feel most comfortable and secure. I understand that welcoming someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big responsibility, and I treat every home with the same respect and care I would want for my own. I follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s normal routine, pay attention to their behavior and needs, and provide updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Sam did a wonderful job watching my two cats. She even got my shy boy to come out from hiding. It made me so happy to know he was being taken care of too. Will definitely use her again. Thanks!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Pete Beach
Brittany was absolutely amazing! I have both a dog and a cat, and she took such great care of them. She arrived on time for every single check-in and kept me updated throughout the entire weekend with tons of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. On the last night, my AC unexpectedly went out, and Brittany immediately alerted me. She was incredibly helpful and was even able to get it turned back on for me. She also showed so much care and concern for my dog by turning on a fan and giving her some ice water since the house had gotten a little warm. Brittany was so kind, considerate, reliable, and attentive to both of my pets. She truly went above and beyond. She is hands down the best Rover sitter I’ve had, and I would absolutely use her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets and their home!

Our 7-year-old American Bulldog has always been a challenge to find care for. Until now, the only person we trusted to watch him was my brother-in-law. Our dog gets protective and anxious when we leave, and because of his size, many people are understandably hesitant to come into our home without us there. Dan went above and beyond by taking the time to meet our dog several times before our trip and doing a few trial visits to build trust. His patience, kindness, and calm demeanor made all the difference, and he ended up being the perfect fit for our pup. Knowing we had someone we could truly rely on gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We no longer have to stress about leaving town, and that is priceless. Dan is amazing, and we couldn't recommend him more highly. We can't wait to use his services again in the future!

Alison was so awesome! My dogs absolutely loved her and when I came home from my trip I could tell they really enjoyed their time with her while I was away. Alison was especially considerate with my senior dachshund who I was quite nervous to leave, but her separation anxiety was minimal thanks to all the love she got from Alison! Alison was great with juggling the needs of her along with my high energy 4 year old Irish setter. We will definitely be repeat clients!

I cannot recommend Tessa highly enough! From the moment we first reached out, her responsiveness was exceptional. Appointment requests were always answered within minutes, making scheduling incredibly easy and stress-free. One of our biggest concerns was having someone we could truly trust in our home—and this sitter exceeds all expectations. She respected our space, kept everything tidy, and we always felt completely comfortable knowing our dog was in such capable and reliable hands. What truly sets Tessa apart is her remarkable attentiveness to our dog’s special needs. Our aging Weimaraner has a unique diet and medication schedule and some specific behavioral quirks, but Tessa took the time to learn every detail and made sure our dog felt happy and safe. We regularly received thoughtful updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while away. If you’re searching for a quick-to-respond, trustworthy, and attentive pet sitter, look no further. Our experience has been nothing short of outstanding!
