About: I own 2 cats myself and have taken care of/lived with a large dog before (German shepherd). I have more experience with cats but have taken care of multiple types of dogs. I am open to animals that may have some disabilities as well. I have experience taking care of blind dogs/senior dogs! I am located on st Pete beach but am open to the surrounding Tampa Bay Area. I work full time but it is a late/evening shift so I can be available during the day as well as nights after work. I like to care for pets based on the how the owners would like them to be cared for. I would appreciate some instruction and background on pets so I can understand them better.

About: I grew up with two dogs that filled my life with so much joy. I just want to give that to your dogs even if it’s just a walk, a check in, or even a long term service. I have open availability to care for your fur babies. I do have a part time job but will be able to schedule around those few shifts I have a week. My priority is your animals! I am very adamant on keeping all dogs on leash unless in a gated backyard or at a dog park dependent on how they interact with other dogs and owners wishes.

About: Hello, and I am excited and happy to meet your fur family lovies. I like to go by the name Annie, I've been called that name since I was very young. I grew up on a farm with all sorts of animals big and small. I loved it, and still do. My insight into animal's needs and each of their unique characteristics are intune with my nature in caring for them. Compassion, safety and genuine concern over your dear pet's needs are ongoing with my services. I have a reliable and calm nature. Animals take to me well. I am an RN by profession. I take dogs outside on leashes, walk the area or nearby park. I am able to run with them on the leash. Animals are welcome into my home, and free to safely roam around in it. I have 2 cats, and if needed, will put my cats in seperate room.
About: I volunteered at Asheville Humane Society for 4 years and worked with all kinds of dogs and cats. I helped with walks, playtime, and basic care, and got used to handling different energy levels and personalities. It made me comfortable reading them and helping them feel safe. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently doing school online and have a very flexible schedule. I’m home most of the day, so I have plenty of time for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins, and can give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I make sure pets feel safe and stick to their usual routine. At my home, I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and always keep an eye on them. In a client’s home, I follow whatever routine they’re used to—feeding, walks, and any specific instructions—so they stay comfortable and well cared for.

About: Having pets for over 25 years, and having done a lot of pet sitting for others, has taught me what unconditional love is. I am committed to understanding what each individual pet needs and wants and I tailor my attention to every pet accordingly. Long walks for dogs ✅ shorter walks ✅ playtime ✅ lots of cuddles ✅ no cuddles, no problem ✅ I am here to care for animals the way they like, as it is all about them. I always walk the dogs at their pace and they can stop and sniff as much as they want ❤️ Working for myself, and two days part-time outside my home, offers ample time to care for your pet, whether in your home or mine. I have a big yard for your puppers to play and take long walks everyday...I would love to have your dog along on my neighborhood treks. I also like to load them up in the truck and drive to new, unexplored parts of town...new sights and sounds and smells to keep our awareness sharp.
“Hannah handled my energetic, strong puppy very well! She was on time and very communicative. We had an unusual and confusing situation as our dog was in our RV in a campground and she was able to navigate that easily.”

About: Having grown up with two dogs my entire life, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat ever animal with the same love and respect I give my own pets. As a college student, my schedule allows me plenty of time for pet care. I only have three classes on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and just one hour class on Tuesday and Thursday, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for visits, walks, feeding, and quality time with your pets. When caring for pets in a clients home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get walked, have playtime and receive plenty of tension. I also make sure to tidy up any messes and make sure the pet feel as comfortable as possible in their own environment.

About: I have had dogs of all sizes all of my life & I am comfortable with dogs with different personalities/needs. My work schedule allows me plenty of time to check in on your pets. I currently have my own 7 year old golden retriever so I know the stress of needing someone to check on your pet during a busy day. I work 7 days on 7 days off so on my off week I’m looking to add some walks/drop ins to my schedule. If your pup is friendly I am open to boarding your pup as well. I treat any pup like my own. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
