About: With a background in Search and Recovery (SAR) training, I offer more than just a walk around the block. I’ve spent my life living with and learning from breeds of all shapes and sizes - from the stubborn charm of Bulldogs to the high intelligence of German Shepherds. Whether your dog is a high energy athlete or a puppy still learning the ropes, I provide a structured, safe, and engaging environment. I also specialize in board and trains meaning I understand how to communicate with dogs effectively. I am currently raising my own GSD puppy and managing two cats, so I am an expert at multi-pet household dynamics and “puppy chaos” management. I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur kids! I’m available all day and tend to my own animals all day (and sometimes night) as well. I have a fenced yard and a friendly GSD puppy who can cuddle and play. I have a dedicated “animal room” where your pups crate will go so they can relax after a long day of fun.
“Dylan was great. He rose to the occasion when our plans changed and we needed someone ASAP for additional pet care at the last minute. Great to have someone so reliable!”

“Lisa is so sweet and my Bella really likes her! She arrived during the expected time frame and let me know how my pup was doing. She even got sent pictures of my cats. Will definitely hire her for future walks.”

About: I am a friend to all animals, I don't discriminate! I'm a lifelong Floridian so I love all kinds of wildlife and have a big appreciation for nature and love to be outdoors, taking dogs to the beach or on long hikes. I also am a huge cat person and am mom to 3 cats🐈⬛. I love all dogs– big, small, hyper, cuddly, lazy, energetic. I've had 2 dobermans in my life so I'm very good with what some would consider "scary" or misunderstood dogs. I've taken care of rottweilers, pitbulls, staffys, retrievers, shepherds. I also had a chihuahua for 13 years, a pet bunny, tons of fish & turtles, a bird, and dozens of cats. So I'm well versed in a lot of pets and understand how important they are to us. I can take care of multiple pets at a time! As long as your pet gets along with other animals they are welcome in my home. I will treat any pet as if they are my own baby. I can provide 24/7 supervision & separation from other animals. I can provide hourly potty breaks and exercise. I work from home so I can take care of pets every day. I wake up at 6:30 /7am to begin taking care of my cats and whatever pets I am boarding. I have availabilities 7 days a week. I can take 2-3 pets on for boarding at a time, depending on size. But I have plenty of room and space for pets to be more than comfortable. I take them for walks as soon as I wake up and feed them all breakfast, then take them out at least 4-5 times a day. I lay on the couch with them or take them to the dog park. If your pet has a specific routine just fill me in on the details and I will treat them as if they were my own! I live in a home with a backyard and multiple rooms for space for pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood where I can walk dogs for miles and miles! If a pet requires any type of specific space, I have room to provide it for them. I have dog gates & a big guest room so separation is easy and I have a screened in catio for cats

“It was a great pleasure meeting Marlene. She asked a lot of questions about my dogs on our first meet and greet. To which I thought was very professional and very compassionate. Thank goodness I found a great dog walker.”

About: As a long time pet lover and owner (dogs and cats), I'd love to help with your pet care needs. No matter the type of animal, temperament, or breed,I'll make sure your animal friends are loved! I'm located in downtown St. Pete on Central Ave, have transportation, and can be flexible with times and logistics. I'm currently working part time remote which allows plenty of flexibility with pet care. I have a dog and cat of my own, both of which are friendly. I can do boarding as long as they're friendly with other dogs - I can keep the cat in another room if needed. Have my own transportation. I'm on the first floor of an apartment complex with access to great walking routes and a minutes walk away from a great dog park. As a dog owner, I know how important play and exercise are and will make sure they're having a good time!
About: I have always been the go-to person my friends and family ask to watch their fur babies, from quick visits to overnight stays. I have a very anxious fur baby at home who is my whole world, and know how nerve wrecking it can be leaving your beloved pet with someone new. I am happy to go above and beyond to ensure your pet is safe, happy and well cared for! I currently am in school full time and have a lot of evenings open as well as gap days. There are many windows of time where I am free and able to give your pet my undivided attention and love! I have a large home that does not have a fenced in yard, but does have a screened in porch that lots of pups have enjoyed laying in the sun and looking out the windows of! :) I am in the Gulfport art district and can easily access anyone in that area. I am VERY committed to your pets safety and happiness in my home.
“Cassandra has great communication and is extremely reliable! I have requested her on multiple occasions now and gives me peace of mind when my pup needs a walk while I’m away! Would recommended her to anyone!”

“It was my first time booking through Rover, and thanks to Amaya this will now be my go-to. Baxter is usually very tentative around strangers, he's very timid and definitely fears the unknown, but Amaya was so great with him. She's patient and knew exactly how to entice him to warm up quickly. Baxter came home in the best mood. Amaya showed up on time and she was super sweet. Definitely will book again!!”

“Linzey is seriously amazing! She is always on time, takes extra time to give all of my pets the love and attention they need . As someone who is A helicopter mom with my animals, I trust her ! she also brought in all my packages that were outside my house. 😂😩 She goes above and beyond! She updates me with pictures and videos too! She is THE BEST !!!!”

“I went on vacation for a week and left my dog with my parents who are not very mobile. Amy met my dog before I left town. Rght away he was laying next to her. I knew that she was going to be his new human friend. Amy was an amazing dog walker for the week hired. Her communication and actions were consistent and thoughtful. I was relaxed while away knowing my dog was in caring hands. I will continue booking Amy as my first choice for pet walker/ pet sitter. Five ⭐? ??”

About: Having pets for over 25 years, and having done a lot of pet sitting for others, has taught me what unconditional love is. I am committed to understanding what each individual pet needs and wants and I tailor my attention to every pet accordingly. Long walks for dogs ✅ shorter walks ✅ playtime ✅ lots of cuddles ✅ no cuddles, no problem ✅ I am here to care for animals the way they like, as it is all about them. I always walk the dogs at their pace and they can stop and sniff as much as they want ❤️ Working for myself, and two days part-time outside my home, offers ample time to care for your pet, whether in your home or mine. I have a big yard for your puppers to play and take long walks everyday...I would love to have your dog along on my neighborhood treks. I also like to load them up in the truck and drive to new, unexplored parts of town...new sights and sounds and smells to keep our awareness sharp.
About: I’m a proud dog mom of two pups, Bingo (11) and Fiona (7). I’ve cared for friends’, family, and even some strangers’ pets since I was 11-12 years old. I was pet-sitting before human sitting. 😂 In the last 10 years while working in property management, I’ve helped over 50 pets find homes or reunite with their families, giving me a unique insight into pets needs and personalities. I treat every pet as my own, providing walks, playtime, snuggles, and consistent care, all while creating a safe, happy, and loving environment. Part-time schedule = plenty of pup play time! I’m available for overnight stays with or without my 2 dogs. Snuggles, walks, and lots of love included! I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring a safe, loving, and clean environment while you’re away. I follow your home routines closely—feeding, walking, and giving attention on schedule—and will only allow pets in areas you approve. I supervise all playtime and provide calm, positive atmosphere, making sure your pets feel comfortable, secure, and happy. I also communicate regularly with you, so you can relax knowing your pets are interested hands.
“Hannah handled my energetic, strong puppy very well! She was on time and very communicative. We had an unusual and confusing situation as our dog was in our RV in a campground and she was able to navigate that easily.”

About: Hi there! While I'm new to the St. Petersburg area, I’m not new to caring for pets, specifically dogs. I've cared for my own dogs since high school, and have experience with many breeds while working at a dog kennel and specialty pet food shop. I also have experience caring for pets of friends and family when their people are away. I enjoy long walks with my own dogs, rain or shine, and look forward to sharing those with your furry friend as well. My backseat is equipped with a seat cover, so let's hit the road! While I have experience with many breeds, I prefer working with small to medium breeds. I work full-time outside of Rover, so my availability fills up quickly. Let me know if you think we'd be a great fit! You can find me outside just after sunrise walking my dogs around the block, and again at sunset throwing the ball with them in the backyard. When caring for your pet, I engage them in their favorite activities, whether it's playing catch, walking, or solving puzzles. I'll keep you updated with photos and videos, so you always know your dog is happy. I’m experienced in handling special needs like feeding schedules and medication. My goal is to make your pet feel at home!
About: I’ve spent my life caring for animals of all kinds, including horses, rabbits, cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have four cats and experience caring for pets of all ages and with medical needs. I’m comfortable giving oral medications and injections, and I’ve cared for cats with complex conditions, including FIP, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), asthma, allergies, hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism. In Los Angeles, I worked with local cat rescues, and earlier this year I fostered a five-week-old puppy full-time for three months before helping him find a wonderful forever home. One of my own cats was diagnosed with FIP, and I never gave up on her. After that, I helped the owners of two other cats with FIP by administering their injections and supporting them through treatment, and both cats survived. I owned my horse from 2001 until she passed away at 25 years old in 2024, which taught me a lifetime of responsibility and commitment. My own cats have traveled to 16 states with me, and I love taking pets on walks, hikes, and safe adventures. Because I work remotely, I have a very flexible schedule and can provide attentive care throughout the day. I’m reliable, patient, and would do anything for animals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I work remotely, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care throughout the day. My own pets are my top priority, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s playing, going for walks, giving medications, or simply keeping them company and making them feel safe and loved. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible, making sure your pet is fed, exercised, played with, cuddled (if they enjoy it), and given plenty of attention. I’ll clean litter boxes for cats, take dogs on walks, and administer medications if needed. I know how important peace of mind is, so I’ll send regular updates, photos, and videos while you’re away. I’m also very understanding of anxious pet parents, so you’re always welcome to message me with questions or check in at any time. If you have pet cameras in your home, I’m completely comfortable with that too. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gulfport
Devin & Kylie were great. Our older dog who can’t hear, can’t see very well and usually doesn’t like strangers did really well with Devin &Kylie. They took Precious for 3 walks per day and fed her AM and PM. I was really apprehensive at first but would recommend them and use Devin & Kylie again.
I’m so glad we found such an incredible dog sitter! Our pup was clearly spoiled and living his best life while we were away. The daily updates meant so much and gave us total peace of mind. Mia truly went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
Kailyn is a phenomenal dog walker who has been so flexible with us and our schedule. We hired her to help do weekly walks with our foster dog who could be a bit rowdy. She learned his routine and was able to execute it perfectly each time! We would highly recommend Kailyn for all of your pet walk/sitting needs!

Kylie and her business partner are warm amazing, people who really love animals. They walked my dog sasha daily for 2 weeks, as I recovered from surgery. They were highly responsive and communicative, and made sure sasha got taken care of and walked and return back very happy. They were also extremely responsible, because sometimes i'd have to adjust times and they would be diligent to make sure I am getting the correctly allotted time for each walk. I i highly recommend them.

Amy is fantastic - incredibly reliable, kind and wonderful to work with. My dog looks forward to every walk and visit with her, and I can always count that Charlie will be well cared for when she is with him. I recently had a family emergency that involved last minute additional support and Amy graciously stepped up to accommodate the situation while I was away. I am so grateful!

Rebeca has been a blessing to our lives! She is loving and very sweet with pur little Marco! Rebeca is professional, punctual and has the patience of a saint. I highly recommend Rebeca and give her 10 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rebeca is an absolute angel and so happy we found her on Rover!!🐾🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
