“Claire was wonderful. Luna had such a good time and Claire was responsive and sent the best pictures! We have two other stays already planned and Luna can’t wait!”

“Kristin was wonderful! She did an amazing job caring for my dog over the weekend and kept me updated the entire time with great communication and lots of pictures. She took him on plenty of walks, and it was clear he had a great time staying with her. My dog is usually pretty nervous around new people, but he warmed up to Kristin and her home right away. Seeing that made it so much easier to enjoy my trip, knowing he was comfortable, happy, and in such great hands. I highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Leigh was incredible! I felt so comfortable leaving my fur baby with her. She kept me updated daily and truly cares about the animals she keeps. We will definitely be using Leigh again in the future! Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Molly was amazing with my 12-week old puppy! Sent tons of pic/video updates, administered meds including foam when he was itching. She had her sweet Olive girl + other pups during the stay - Molly actively supervised play, had separate feedings, and ensured there was no resource guarding which put my mind at such ease. Tribe will only to Molly’s from now on!!”

“We knew from the meet & greet our pups would be in great hands, staying with Jennifer. She sent us photo updates throughout their weekend stay, and we were able to see all the fun they were having while staying with her. We truly appreciated knowing our dogs were happy and comfortable while we were away. I would highly recommend Jennifer, and we will be rebooking with her in the future!”
“My dog had so much fun with Abby and Alex!! They took notes at our meet and greet to make sure nothing was forgotten, sent great updates and pictures, and made sure Koda stuck to her normal routine with lots of walks. Koda was very comfortable with them and I will definitely be asking them to watch her again in then future!!”

“Kolin was amazing! He decided to take Finn last notice for the weekend. We are so appreciative for his loving care and humor. He made sure to send pictures with the most awesome captions you’ve ever read! He had us laughing from 1000 miles away. I could tell Finn was involved and whatever they were doing and was well taken care of. It’s nice to know someone like him exists. Thank you :)”

“Beverly was kind enough to take a last minute reservation. I was able to do a meet and greet with her dog Opal and my dog Zena. They both got along well. Beverly was great with providing pictures and updates. Her yard is perfect as it is fully fenced in. I would definitely recommend Beverly. Zena was relaxed and happy when I came to get her.”

“We had a great experience with Liz and Brian watching Lou while we were out of town for a few days. They were friendly, easy to communicate with, and sent photos of Lou while we were gone. Their home was neat and tidy and they have a nice backyard that Lou enjoyed with their dog Rocky. We appreciated that that they only watch one households pet at a time with their dog Rocky. We would have no hesitation using them again in the future. Lou was happy and tired when we got him home.”

“Sandra is an amazing person! The two days that Roxy stayed with her, she was definitely very happy, because she came back home very excited. Always communicating and sending pictures of my little girl.”

“This was my first time leaving Gumbo for an extended period, and Erica made the entire experience stress-free. She sent daily updates, kept open communication, and checked in anytime something needed clarification. I always felt he was in good hands. The best part? As we were leaving, Gumbo gave her a snuggly goodbye—proof that he was loved and cared for. He truly had the best pupcation! I will absolutely book with Erica again and again for my fur baby.”

“We have used Nikki on multiple occasions for mid-day walks as well as multiple day/night stays for our two dogs, a Doberman named Maggie and a terrier mix named Widget. Nikki has been just fantastic caring for our girls! Maggie and Widget require specific care, and Nikki is always so accommodating, caring, thorough, and attentive. She took the time to arrange a "meet and greet" with myself and the dogs beforehand and made us feel comfortable that we were leaving our dogs in caring and capable hands. She had no problem accommodating special feeding and medication requests, and went out of her way to make sure the girls had plenty of activities to keep them busy and plenty of comfy places to sleep and relax during their stay. Her home is extremely dog friendly and she has a fenced yard with ample opportunity for exploring, playing, and swimming in the pool! She always provides us with many updates and pictures which allows us to relax and enjoy our time out of town, or to know our dogs are being well attended to during longer work days. We are glad to have found Nikki, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for top notch care for their dog(s)!”
“Christina was super adapting and helpful. She took care of my two babies like their own. Helped bring kennels outside, and was communicative. Thankful for her service!”

“Brittany was amazing. We had a bit of a complicated stay as it was for our wedding weekend and had a wedding day handler pick him up and drop him off. Brittany was so helpful with everything from administering meds to making sure he looked his best.”

“Savannah was very sweet and professional. She’s been the best sitter I’ve had so far. She watched our dog for 6 days with no issues whatsoever. I would trust her anytime with our animals and will certainly use her again. Thank you Savannah for taking wonderful care of our baby and for such an easy, care free experience!”

“Maxine was great with Owen. She would send picture updates and even has an app that allows you to check in on your pup via camera. Extremely convenient, flexible, and responsible. Highly recommend!”

“Kugel loves going to Sydney’s so so much. She was flexible when we had to change the pick up time last minute. We love that he usually has another friend or two to play with but not an overwhelming number of dogs.”

About: I've been blessed with caring for many cats through the years, from the ones that chose me, to sitting for friends and neighbors cats. I find them to be the most mysterious and magical animals. Our very own Genghis Khan crossed the rainbow bridge recently after 19 years 😿 He was a wild one and we miss him every day. In lieu of getting another cat, I am now dedicating my time to caring pets for others. I tailor every sit to the individual animal's wants and needs...it really is all about them. 😻
“Brittany was amazing, really investing in making friends with our cats, even the one that was being standoffish. She also sent tons of pictures and a quick written update that I really appreciated. Looking forward to having her sir for us again.”

“Can’t rave about Sam enough! She was able to come feed my kitties last minute when someone cancelled day of. She sent pictures and videos so I was able to relax and know my girls were taken care of!”

About: I’ve had a lot of experience with my sisters cats, and one of them was very temperamental. I understand cat body language and am very understanding of their boundaries!

About: Cats are my favorite animals and I absolutely love them. I have four cats of my own and extensive experience caring for kittens, seniors, and cats with special medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications and injections, and I’ve cared for cats with FIP, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), asthma, allergies, hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism. I previously worked with cat rescues in Los Angeles and have experience earning the trust of shy, anxious, and timid cats. One of my own cats survived FIP, and I later helped two other families administer FIP injections and support their cats through treatment. Both cats survived. Because I work remotely, I have a flexible schedule and can provide attentive, reliable care. Whether your cat wants to play, cuddle, or simply have someone who respects their space, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

“Teri is the best and I will always use her and have been for more than a year! Would not trust anyone else and I am extremely picky with who watches my child. Thank you Teri :)”
About: I grew up with my family raising Pugs and have had an English bulldog and currently a Frenchie. So I have a special love for smush faces but I don’t discriminate. Always have had love for dogs and will treat your dogs as if they were my own. I have a flexible work schedule and I work from home during the week. I want to take advantage of this flexibility and get more love from your fur babies. My dog loves to spend the day napping in my bed. He’s pretty docile and lazy during the day until night time rolls around and the zoomies kick in. I have a large backyard where they can roam and play.
“Fantastic experience with Julie and Brian. Astro was excites to meet the other dogs there. He seemed quite happy with his stay. Would recommend them to others.”

“Evette and her sweet lab Lady made our fur babies feel right at home! They were so happy/relaxed/tired from playing all day when we picked them up! Evette was so professional and accommodating, easy to trust right away. She sent so many amazing updates and photos about their stay together! We will for sure be asking her for help again!”

About: I have been caring for dogs most of my life and love every dog as if they’re my own. I have experience with all life stages and personalities - whether your dog is high energy and needs lots of playtime or is a senior who just wants to relax and be loved on. I am used to medication management, special diets, mobility challenges and bottle feeding. My adult dog, Olive, is always looking for a new friend to play with. I also foster puppies from time to time, so there may be lots of new friends for your pup to interact with while they’re here. I tailor my care to match animals’ personality and routine. My goal is to make them feel safe, happy and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether that is day care during the day or a long-term trip, they will be in good hands. I am fully remote and will be with your pup(s) all day. We will have plenty of outdoor play time during the day and always make time for afternoon naps. There is a nice 3 mile walking path by my house, so if your dog is very active and likes to walk or run, I would love to bring them along. For less active dogs, there will always be a comfy spot on the couch for them! I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for them to explore. My dog, Olive, loves to run around back there. There are also cooling mats on the back porch if your dog likes to sunbathe.

“Christina was so great with my dog Molly. Molly is afraid of people and other dogs but Christina quickly had her relaxed and mingling with the other dogs. She sent me lots of pictures during her stay and I couldn’t believe it, she was happy and playing with the other dogs! Christina has a wonderful house and large lawn, and she is with the dogs all day. She keeps all the dogs relaxed and happy. It’s like a summer camp! Molly can’t wait to go back!”

About: Hello! I am a lifelong pet-sitter, new to the platform. After recently losing my elderly cocker spaniel, I am looking to return to caring for other people’s pets! I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and hamsters, and live in a clean, pet-friendly home with a fenced yard and walking distance to three different parks. I am retired from healthcare, BLS certified, active, fun-loving and professional. I look forward to meeting your pet! I have an empty nest and am an active young retiree, so I am home all day except for trips to the park for exercise and the petstore for treats! I live in a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard for quick potty breaks, but prefer taking walks around one of the beautiful nearby parks if your dog is willing. I welcome all well-behaved dogs, crate-trained or not.
“Alyssa has definitely became an Auntie to my Macki!!! She has a patience and heart of an ideal dog (and dog mom) whisperer!! She sends great updates, gives appreciative feedback, and her personality shines through and through!!! Will definitely use her expertise continuously!!!”

“Heather took great care of our chocolate Labrador for four days and was very flexible with last minute changes to our drop off and pick up times on all four days that we were in the Tampa area. We will book with Heather again when we're back in the Tampa area. Highly recommend Heather to care for your fur babies.”

“Sydney was the absolute best with our little cockapoo baby, Lia. I was nervous coming from NY, not knowing anyone in the area. She reassured me Lia would be in great hands and did not disappoint. She gave her walks (they saw dolphins 🥰), potty breaks, helped our Lia become comfortable around another pup and new surrounding. Checked in and sent pics throughout the day. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend her. Lia will definitely be back to visit ❤️ thank you so much Sydney”

“Brittany and Stephen are very caring and did great with our 2 older pups. We appreciate them and they have made our pets feel safe and comfortable. We would recommend them to anyone for dog sitting or daycare.”

About: Dog person through and through—I grew up with a chow/husky mix and spent the last five years as a very devoted dog mom to a chocolate lab/pit mix. Since then, I’ve been the go-to for friends’ dogs, whether that’s quick drop-ins or longer stays while they’re out of town. I’ve hosted multiple dogs at once (we used to joke my place was a “puppy palace”), so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I previously sat on Rover in Denver and am now in St. Pete, excited to get back to spending time with dogs. I’m reliable, communicative, and will treat your dog like my own—expect regular updates, photos, and a happy, well-cared-for pup. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just hanging out, I’m happy to match their pace. I work 100% remote for a software company. I can easily pop out during the day between meetings/calls and am free to board pets when I am in town. I know your dog is family, and I treat them that way. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and any specific needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I live in a large one-bedroom apartment (no other pets) near the pier with plenty of grassy areas for walks. I have a flexible schedule, so your dog will get lots of attention, exercise, and company throughout the day. Dogs are absolutely welcome on the couch and bed here—this is a relaxed, safe environment where they can feel at home.

“Beverly was awesome with my girl Pippa! She was even willing to meet up with us previous to the booking to ensure that another dog in her care and my dog got along well. Thank you!”

“Maddie was fantastic with Charlie! She made the experience stress-free by keeping me in the loop with regular updates and pictures throughout the day. I’ll definitely continue going to her in the future — highly recommend!”

“We are so so glad we found Alli! Our 1 year old Australian shepherd Harry has a lot of energy and can often be a handful. Alli is wonderful with him! She sends updates several times a day and is always keeping us in the loop. Her sweet dog Mack is the perfect playmate for Harry and insures that he comes home tired :) we know whenever Harry is with Alli he is in amazing hands.”

“So fortunate to have found Rachel. She has a cozy comfortable place for my two dogs. Her two cats and one dog are so sweet and friendly. I’d recommend her a hundred times.!”

About: With a background in Search and Recovery (SAR) training, I offer more than just a walk around the block. I’ve spent my life living with and learning from breeds of all shapes and sizes - from the stubborn charm of Bulldogs to the high intelligence of German Shepherds. Whether your dog is a high energy athlete or a puppy still learning the ropes, I provide a structured, safe, and engaging environment. I also specialize in board and trains meaning I understand how to communicate with dogs effectively. I am currently raising my own GSD puppy and managing two cats, so I am an expert at multi-pet household dynamics and “puppy chaos” management. I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur kids! I’m available all day and tend to my own animals all day (and sometimes night) as well. I have a fenced yard and a friendly GSD puppy who can cuddle and play. I have a dedicated “animal room” where your pups crate will go so they can relax after a long day of fun.
“Dylan was great. He rose to the occasion when our plans changed and we needed someone ASAP for additional pet care at the last minute. Great to have someone so reliable!”

“Lisa is so sweet and my Bella really likes her! She arrived during the expected time frame and let me know how my pup was doing. She even got sent pictures of my cats. Will definitely hire her for future walks.”

“Cassandra has great communication and is extremely reliable! I have requested her on multiple occasions now and gives me peace of mind when my pup needs a walk while I’m away! Would recommended her to anyone!”

About: I have always been the go-to person my friends and family ask to watch their fur babies, from quick visits to overnight stays. I have a very anxious fur baby at home who is my whole world, and know how nerve wrecking it can be leaving your beloved pet with someone new. I am happy to go above and beyond to ensure your pet is safe, happy and well cared for! I currently am in school full time and have a lot of evenings open as well as gap days. There are many windows of time where I am free and able to give your pet my undivided attention and love! I have a large home that does not have a fenced in yard, but does have a screened in porch that lots of pups have enjoyed laying in the sun and looking out the windows of! :) I am in the Gulfport art district and can easily access anyone in that area. I am VERY committed to your pets safety and happiness in my home.

“It was a great pleasure meeting Marlene. She asked a lot of questions about my dogs on our first meet and greet. To which I thought was very professional and very compassionate. Thank goodness I found a great dog walker.”

About: I am a friend to all animals, I don't discriminate! I'm a lifelong Floridian so I love all kinds of wildlife and have a big appreciation for nature and love to be outdoors, taking dogs to the beach or on long hikes. I also am a huge cat person and am mom to 3 cats🐈⬛. I love all dogs– big, small, hyper, cuddly, lazy, energetic. I've had 2 dobermans in my life so I'm very good with what some would consider "scary" or misunderstood dogs. I've taken care of rottweilers, pitbulls, staffys, retrievers, shepherds. I also had a chihuahua for 13 years, a pet bunny, tons of fish & turtles, a bird, and dozens of cats. So I'm well versed in a lot of pets and understand how important they are to us. I can take care of multiple pets at a time! As long as your pet gets along with other animals they are welcome in my home. I will treat any pet as if they are my own baby. I can provide 24/7 supervision & separation from other animals. I can provide hourly potty breaks and exercise. I work from home so I can take care of pets every day. But I have plenty of room and space for pets to be more than comfortable. I take them for walks as soon as I wake up and feed them all breakfast, then take them out at least 4-5 times a day. I lay on the couch with them or take them to the dog park. If your pet has a specific routine just fill me in on the details and I will treat them as if they were my own! I live in a home with a backyard and multiple rooms for space for pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood where I can walk dogs for miles and miles! If a pet requires any type of specific space, I have room to provide it for them. I have dog gates & a big guest room so separation is easy and I have a screened in catio for cats
“It was my first time booking through Rover, and thanks to Amaya this will now be my go-to. Baxter is usually very tentative around strangers, he's very timid and definitely fears the unknown, but Amaya was so great with him. She's patient and knew exactly how to entice him to warm up quickly. Baxter came home in the best mood. Amaya showed up on time and she was super sweet. Definitely will book again!!”

About: I have been happily adopting animals into my family home since 2005! That comes with hands on experience with training, quality care, and an extreme love for pets and animals! I have been pet-sitting for years, whenever I can add it to my schedule it becomes a priority! I am a recent graduate from Pennsylvania State University! I studied Psychology and Neuroscience, and I moved to Florida to work for a year before returning to graduate school. I would be available for drop-in visits during the week in the mornings, and in the evenings I have open availability! I aim to not only make your animal(s) enjoy our time together, but for you as the owner to have a positive experience as well!
About: I’ve spent my life caring for animals of all kinds, including horses, rabbits, cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have four cats and experience caring for pets of all ages and with medical needs. I’m comfortable giving oral medications and injections, and I’ve cared for cats with complex conditions, including FIP, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), asthma, allergies, hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism. In Los Angeles, I worked with local cat rescues, and earlier this year I fostered a five-week-old puppy full-time for three months before helping him find a wonderful forever home. One of my own cats was diagnosed with FIP, and I never gave up on her. After that, I helped the owners of two other cats with FIP by administering their injections and supporting them through treatment, and both cats survived. I owned my horse from 2001 until she passed away at 25 years old in 2024, which taught me a lifetime of responsibility and commitment. My own cats have traveled to 16 states with me, and I love taking pets on walks, hikes, and safe adventures. Because I work remotely, I have a very flexible schedule and can provide attentive care throughout the day. I’m reliable, patient, and would do anything for animals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I work remotely, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care throughout the day. My own pets are my top priority, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s playing, going for walks, giving medications, or simply keeping them company and making them feel safe and loved. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible, making sure your pet is fed, exercised, played with, cuddled (if they enjoy it), and given plenty of attention. I’ll clean litter boxes for cats, take dogs on walks, and administer medications if needed. I know how important peace of mind is, so I’ll send regular updates, photos, and videos while you’re away. I’m also very understanding of anxious pet parents, so you’re always welcome to message me with questions or check in at any time. If you have pet cameras in your home, I’m completely comfortable with that too. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

I always walk the dogs at their pace and they can stop and sniff as much as they want ❤️ Working for myself, and two days part-time outside my home, offers ample time to care for your pet, whether in your home or mine. I have a big yard for your puppers to play and take long walks everyday...I would love to have your dog along on my neighborhood treks. I also like to load them up in the truck and drive to new, unexplored parts of town...new sights and sounds and smells to keep our awareness sharp.
“Hannah handled my energetic, strong puppy very well! She was on time and very communicative. We had an unusual and confusing situation as our dog was in our RV in a campground and she was able to navigate that easily.”

About: I’m a proud dog mom of two pups, Bingo (11) and Fiona (7). I’ve cared for friends’, family, and even some strangers’ pets since I was 11-12 years old. I was pet-sitting before human sitting. 😂 In the last 10 years while working in property management, I’ve helped over 50 pets find homes or reunite with their families, giving me a unique insight into pets needs and personalities. I treat every pet as my own, providing walks, playtime, snuggles, and consistent care, all while creating a safe, happy, and loving environment. Part-time schedule = plenty of pup play time! I’m available for overnight stays with or without my 2 dogs. Snuggles, walks, and lots of love included! I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring a safe, loving, and clean environment while you’re away. I follow your home routines closely—feeding, walking, and giving attention on schedule—and will only allow pets in areas you approve. I supervise all playtime and provide calm, positive atmosphere, making sure your pets feel comfortable, secure, and happy. I also communicate regularly with you, so you can relax knowing your pets are interested hands.
“Amy is fantastic - incredibly reliable, kind and wonderful to work with. My dog looks forward to every walk and visit with her, and I can always count that Charlie will be well cared for when she is with him. I recently had a family emergency that involved last minute additional support and Amy graciously stepped up to accommodate the situation while I was away. I am so grateful!”

About: Hi there! While I'm new to the St. Petersburg area, I’m not new to caring for pets, specifically dogs. I've cared for my own dogs since high school, and have experience with many breeds while working at a dog kennel and specialty pet food shop. I also have experience caring for pets of friends and family when their people are away. I enjoy long walks with my own dogs, rain or shine, and look forward to sharing those with your furry friend as well. My backseat is equipped with a seat cover, so let's hit the road! While I have experience with many breeds, I prefer working with small to medium breeds. I work full-time outside of Rover, so my availability fills up quickly. Let me know if you think we'd be a great fit! You can find me outside just after sunrise walking my dogs around the block, and again at sunset throwing the ball with them in the backyard. When caring for your pet, I engage them in their favorite activities, whether it's playing catch, walking, or solving puzzles. I'll keep you updated with photos and videos, so you always know your dog is happy. I’m experienced in handling special needs like feeding schedules and medication. My goal is to make your pet feel at home!

“Christina was super adapting and helpful. She took care of my two babies like their own. Helped bring kennels outside, and was communicative. Thankful for her service!”

“Our dog seemed very happy and comfortable in the photos Phoebe sent, and she came home calm and seemed like she had a chance to get plenty of her energy out the day we picked her up, which was great. Phoebe took her on a little day trip which I'm sure our dog loved. Phoebe was also really nice working with us when we had to change the meet-and-greet date due to us getting Covid. She could have bailed but she stuck it out. We were better by the time she watched our dog, but it was right after we had Covid and a short notice cancelation would have put us in a bind so we really appreciated her understanding.”

“Alyssa was great! She kept me updated the whole time I was gone with pictures and messages. She was very accommodating and patient with my nervous and shy pup!”

“Rachel was amazing in taking care of our cat. She sent bunch of pictures and videos. Our Osman was comfortable in her house, and we were happy knowing he is in good hands.”

“Wonderful, accommodating sitters that made me feel so confident about leaving my high energy dog in their care! I got lots of updates and pictures and they even washed my dog’s favorite toy several times so she had a clean toy to play with! I would highly recommend boarding your dog with Lauren! I hope I get a chance to board my dog with them again!”

“Jennifer and Austin were so kind and provided lots of pictures of my pup. They made a weekend away so easy, as we knew he was well taken care of. Highly recommend!”
“I had an incredible experience with Kelly! She was absolutely amazing with my dog, Conway, who struggles with anxiety. She was so patient, creating a warm and welcoming environment that helped him settle in and feel at ease. Conway had a blast playing with other dogs, visiting the dog park, and enjoying cozy naps. Knowing he was in such caring hands gave me so much peace of mind during my trip. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. highly recommend her for anyone looking for a safe, loving place for their pet!”

“We had a great experience with him! He took amazing care of our american bulldog and kept us updated throughout the stay with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog came home happy, well cared for, and clearly got lots of attention. He was reliable, communicative, and treated our dog like one of his own. We would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring Rover sitter!”

“Kym was great with my pup. While I was out of town visiting family and living my best life, Pixie was living her best life with Kym. She made sure that she got plenty of exercise and snuggles and even took her out on the golf cart which she loved. I really appreciate that Kym was able to watch my dog on fairly short notice as well after my primary sitter became unavailable. I may have just found a new primary sitter.”
