About: I own 2 cats myself and have taken care of and lived with dogs before as well. I am also open to animals that may have some disabilities as well. I am located on St Pete beach but am open to the surrounding Tampa Bay Area. I currently work part time so I have a good amount of time to set aside throughout the week. I don’t mind dropping in or going on walks on days I work as well! I like to care for pets based on the how the owners would like them to be cared for. I would appreciate some instruction and background on pets so I can understand them better.

About: Hi! I am an animal lover of all breeds and sizes. My first love were my dogs and horses. I have two dogs at home- two adopted labradoodle mixes (Comino & Amalia), and a rescue 4 year old cavapoo (Renny), an Appaloosa horse (Freckles) and I regularly care for my landlords two cats. These animals are my whole world, in fact I’m on this app simply to earn more money to spoil them and enjoy more time with animals. I am willing to run with your dog, play interactive games, feed, take to dog park/appointments, etc. I have gone to many dog training classes and can be of assistance in training too! I am open to anything but most importantly want to assure you your pets safety and health is my first priority as I know the strong bond between a pet and their human. (my pups my babies!). I work from home and have the flexibility to do last minute bookings and stay out as long as needed. Thanks! Feel free to ask any questions or references ☺️ I work from home and have a very flexible schedule allowing me to help you out in last minute situations. I make time to not only exercise the dog but to brush/spoil him or her too! I always ask the owner first about anything I should know about so that I can keep the pet away from anything that would make them uneasy. I use a strong leash, triple check that all doors are securely closed before leaving, and I often have treats on me in case it’s needed as a distraction or reward.

About: Hi, I’m Kylee. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have a 15‑year‑old Pomeranian and two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, especially seniors or animals with unique personalities. I’ve spent years volunteering with shelters, including the SPCA, where I became a behavioral specialist. I worked with dogs and cats who needed extra support, helping them build confidence, reduce anxiety, and become more adoptable. That experience taught me how to read body language, respond calmly, and meet each animal exactly where they are. I’ve also done extensive pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and families, caring for everything from energetic puppies to shy cats to senior dogs who need a slower pace and a gentle routine. I’m comfortable with medication, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra patience. Your pets will get reliable communication, lots of attention, and a safe, calm environment. I treat every animal like my own, and I would only use kennels if it is your preference. I want your pets to feel they’re at a second home. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I’m already used to caring for my own senior Pomeranian and two cats, so feeding schedules, check‑ins, and quiet companionship are part of my everyday life. Going on walks is something I do daily, both for my dog and for myself, so adding a few more paws to the routine feels completely natural. I also volunteer regularly with local shelters, which keeps me connected to animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. Caring for pets is already woven into my week, and I genuinely enjoy making space for it. I keep things simple and comfortable for pets, whether they’re in my home or their own. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to give animals regular attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. At home, I follow routines closely and make sure my senior Pomeranian and two cats have a calm, predictable environment — and I bring that same approach to clients’ pets. In their home, I stick to their normal schedule, keep things tidy, and pay attention to what makes them feel safe and relaxed. My goal is always to make them feel cared for and at ease while you’re away.

About: I have always been the go-to person my friends and family ask to watch their fur babies, from quick visits to overnight stays. I have a very anxious fur baby at home who is my whole world, and know how nerve wrecking it can be leaving your beloved pet with someone new. I am happy to go above and beyond to ensure your pet is safe, happy and well cared for! I currently am in school full time and have a lot of evenings open as well as gap days. There are many windows of time where I am free and able to give your pet my undivided attention and love! I have a large home that does not have a fenced in yard, but does have a screened in porch that lots of pups have enjoyed laying in the sun and looking out the windows of! :) I am in the Gulfport art district and can easily access anyone in that area. I am VERY committed to your pets safety and happiness in my home.

About: I’m a proud dog mom of two pups, Bingo (11) and Fiona (7). I’ve cared for friends’, family, and even some strangers’ pets since I was 11-12 years old. I was pet-sitting before human sitting. 😂 In the last 10 years while working in property management, I’ve helped over 50 pets find homes or reunite with their families, giving me a unique insight into pets needs and personalities. I treat every pet as my own, providing walks, playtime, snuggles, and consistent care, all while creating a safe, happy, and loving environment. Part-time schedule = plenty of pup play time! I’m available for overnight stays with or without my 2 dogs. Snuggles, walks, and lots of love included! I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring a safe, loving, and clean environment while you’re away. I follow your home routines closely—feeding, walking, and giving attention on schedule—and will only allow pets in areas you approve. I supervise all playtime and provide calm, positive atmosphere, making sure your pets feel comfortable, secure, and happy. I also communicate regularly with you, so you can relax knowing your pets are interested hands.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs for 10 years. I have lots of experience with large/giant dogs, senior dogs, and puppies. Previous dog owners have been satisfied with my dog walking, house sitting, bathing, and medicine administration. I love them like they are my own. Hours available for dog walking are dependent upon the day. I am available everyday for dog sitting and house watching. My work schedule is Thursday-Saturday and Tuesday. I am available every night for overnight dog sitting. I love to bring my work to dog sit, this way after your pup is tired out from playing or walking, we can relax together and they get some cuddles. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I live in a community with lots of paths to walk, as well as a beach to play at if allowed. When I let dogs out into the yard I make sure to keep a close eye on them (we don’t have any escape artists!).

About: I’ve always loved animals and truly believe pets are family. I have two French Bulldogs of my own, ages 4 and 5, and I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including pet sitting, feeding, playtime, walks, cuddles, and keeping litter boxes clean. I’m patient, attentive, and love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. Whether your pet is playful, cuddly, shy, or a little spoiled, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I give my own. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I have a very flexible schedule and am home most of the day, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m able to accommodate different schedules and love having pets around for extra company! I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and the instructions their owner provides. During drop-ins and house sitting, I’ll make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and are comfortable and happy. For dogs, I’m happy to take them on walks and give them the exercise they need. I’ll also keep their space clean. I treat every pet like my own and will always make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. 🤍

About: I grew up with two dogs that filled my life with so much joy. I just want to give that to your dogs even if it’s just a walk, a check in, or even a long term service. I have open availability to care for your fur babies. I do have a part time job but will be able to schedule around those few shifts I have a week. My priority is your animals! I am very adamant on keeping all dogs on leash unless in a gated backyard or at a dog park dependent on how they interact with other dogs and owners wishes.

About: I am a friend to all animals, I don't discriminate! I'm a lifelong Floridian so I love all kinds of wildlife and have a big appreciation for nature and love to be outdoors, taking dogs to the beach or on long hikes. I also am a huge cat person and am mom to 3 cats🐈‍⬛. I love all dogs– big, small, hyper, cuddly, lazy, energetic. I've had 2 dobermans in my life so I'm very good with what some would consider "scary" or misunderstood dogs. I've taken care of rottweilers, pitbulls, staffys, retrievers, shepherds. I also had a chihuahua for 13 years, a pet bunny, tons of fish & turtles, a bird, and dozens of cats. So I'm well versed in a lot of pets and understand how important they are to us. I can take care of multiple pets at a time! As long as your pet gets along with other animals they are welcome in my home. I will treat any pet as if they are my own baby. I can provide 24/7 supervision & separation from other animals. I can provide hourly potty breaks and exercise. I work from home so I can take care of pets every day. I wake up at 6:30 /7am to begin taking care of my cats and whatever pets I am boarding. I have availabilities 7 days a week. I can take 2-3 pets on for boarding at a time, depending on size. But I have plenty of room and space for pets to be more than comfortable. I take them for walks as soon as I wake up and feed them all breakfast, then take them out at least 4-5 times a day. I lay on the couch with them or take them to the dog park. If your pet has a specific routine just fill me in on the details and I will treat them as if they were my own! I live in a home with a backyard and multiple rooms for space for pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood where I can walk dogs for miles and miles! If a pet requires any type of specific space, I have room to provide it for them. I have dog gates & a big guest room so separation is easy and I have a screened in catio for cats

About: I am a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to a 6-year-old Aussie/Border Collie (Nala) who keeps me very active and outdoors every day. Growing up with dogs and now raising my own has made caring for them second nature to me. While I'm new to Rover, I've spent many years helping care for dogs for family and friends. I'm comfortable with walks, playtime, feeding routines, and giving dogs the attention and affection they deserve! I truly love spending time with dogs - whether that's long walks, playing, or just keeping them company. My own dog has taught me how important exercise, patience, and love are for happy pups. I'm currently in between careers, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the care and attention they need. If you're looking for someone responsible, active, and genuinely obsessed with dogs, I'd love to help take care of your pups! My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, 7 days a week. I already spend a lot of time walking and exercising my own dog, so caring for other pups fits naturally into my routine. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for pets. I always follow the owner's instructions carefully so pets can stay on their normal routine. During walks, dogs are always kept on leash and I stay attentive to their behavior and surroundings. In client's homes, I am respectful, responsible, and make sure pets have everything they need - including fresh water, exercise, and lots of love. As a dog mom myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is in safe, caring hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
