I’ve heard all the horror stories and have never had anyone outside of my family watch my dogs, so getting into Rover was a tough call for my husband and I. We had a long international trip planned a few months back & our friend fell through, so we were willing to give it a shot with rover. When we did the house visit with Jennifer, we felt so much better after seeing her beautiful family and home. We were still wary of the whole situation, obviously, but felt immediately reassured once we left and received all sorts of adorable updates via pictures, videos and messages with pup activities! She even let our little one (frenchie, who doesn’t leave Jennifer’s side) sleep in bed with her/her kids & she gives her all the love and extra attention she needs. She even took Chowder (frenchie) to pick up her kids from school one day, so fun! She knows our bigger dog (Obi) so well - she understands that he’s a chaotic ball of energy who doesn’t have boundaries and I trust her to keep him in line & keep him from chewing his sisters paws off lol. Jennifer’s whole family is hands on with the pups and it’s so reassuring and sweet to see people of all ages hanging out with our doggos. I swear it’s like vacation for the dogs too. I am 99% sure that the dogs think Jennifer is their other mom. She genuinely knows them so well, it is clear to us that she is an involved and attentive friend to the pups. We left our two dogs with her again for spring break and had the exact same experience, she is just truly the best. It has alleviated the stress of finding a family member to step in when we go on longer trips. About: I have always had pets in my home, like dogs and/or cats, when I was in highschool many family friends and neighbors trusted me to pet sit for them while they would be away for a week or two. I would stay and play with the pets, feed them, and provide fresh water every day, go on walks, and keep in touch with the owners. I am in college and I work in a lab that cares for crested geckos where I feed them, and look at their environment levels (e.g. humidity) to make sure they are healthy! Caring for animals always brightens my day and I would be happy to care for your furry (or not) babies whether you are at work, or going on a trip! For the summer I am not in school, but I am doing participating in my lab for internship credits with this my schedule is pretty open on weekends and weekdays so I would be able to spend time with your pets however long they want or need! I would be able to do home visits, including drop-ins, staying etc. Whatever you feel comfortable with. I would follow what your pet needs like what kind of food, if there is any medications, any kinds of routines they have, etc. What I provide will depending on what the pet needs, like if they are an older dog or a couch potato I can do a slow walk or just chill and be a couch potato. Or if they are a very active pet I will dedicate play time or outside time. I would also be in contact with the owner if anything alarming occurs or even just a picture of your pet.

About: I grew up with two dogs that filled my life with so much joy. I just want to give that to your dogs even if it’s just a walk, a check in, or even a long term service. I have open availability to care for your fur babies. I do have a part time job but will be able to schedule around those few shifts I have a week. My priority is your animals! I am very adamant on keeping all dogs on leash unless in a gated backyard or at a dog park dependent on how they interact with other dogs and owners wishes.

“This was the first time we haver used Courtney. She did a wonderful job taking care of our two older cats. They are usually very shy with strangers but after the first couple of days, they would come into the kitchen to greet her when she would arrive. One cat almost always hides when we have a sitter feeding them, but by the third day, he was coming out of hiding and eating with the other cat while Courtney was in the same room. Both of them let her pet them. This is remarkable compared with what we have experienced in the past. We will feel very comfortable leaving our kitties in her care in the future!”

I have experience with all life stages and personalities - whether your dog is high energy and needs lots of playtime or is a senior who just wants to relax and be loved on. I am used to medication management, special diets, mobility challenges and bottle feeding. My adult dog, Olive, is always looking for a new friend to play with. I also foster puppies from time to time, so there may be lots of new friends for your pup to interact with while they’re here. I tailor my care to match animals’ personality and routine. My goal is to make them feel safe, happy and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether that is day care during the day or a long-term trip, they will be in good hands. I am fully remote and will be with your pup(s) all day. We will have plenty of outdoor play time during the day and always make time for afternoon naps. There is a nice 3 mile walking path by my house, so if your dog is very active and likes to walk or run, I would love to bring them along. For less active dogs, there will always be a comfy spot on the couch for them! I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for them to explore. My dog, Olive, loves to run around back there. I have a very comfortable home, steps away from the downtown Gulfport. Why I love dog sitting: I prefer doggies to humans most of the time! I can provide 24/7 supervision & separation from other animals. I can provide hourly potty breaks and exercise. I work from home so I can take care of pets every day. I wake up at 6:30 /7am to begin taking care of my cats and whatever pets I am boarding. I have availabilities 7 days a week. I can take 2-3 pets on for boarding at a time, depending on size. But I have plenty of room and space for pets to be more than comfortable. I take them for walks as soon as I wake up and feed them all breakfast, then take them out at least 4-5 times a day. I'm located in downtown St. Pete on Central Ave, have transportation, and can be flexible with times and logistics. About: Hi! I am an animal lover of all breeds and sizes. My first love were my dogs and horses. I have two dogs at home- two adopted labradoodle mixes (Comino & Amalia), and a rescue 4 year old cavapoo (Renny), an Appaloosa horse (Freckles) and I regularly care for my landlords two cats. These animals are my whole world, in fact I’m on this app simply to earn more money to spoil them and enjoy more time with animals. I am willing to run with your dog, play interactive games, feed, take to dog park/appointments, etc. I have gone to many dog training classes and can be of assistance in training too! I am open to anything but most importantly want to assure you your pets safety and health is my first priority as I know the strong bond between a pet and their human. (my pups my babies!). I work from home and have the flexibility to do last minute bookings and stay out as long as needed. Thanks! Feel free to ask any questions or references ☺️ I work from home and have a very flexible schedule allowing me to help you out in last minute situations. I make time to not only exercise the dog but to brush/spoil him or her too! I always ask the owner first about anything I should know about so that I can keep the pet away from anything that would make them uneasy. I use a strong leash, triple check that all doors are securely closed before leaving, and I often have treats on me in case it’s needed as a distraction or reward.

About: I grew up with two dogs that filled my life with so much joy. I just want to give that to your dogs even if it’s just a walk, a check in, or even a long term service. I have open availability to care for your fur babies. I do have a part time job but will be able to schedule around those few shifts I have a week. My priority is your animals! I am very adamant on keeping all dogs on leash unless in a gated backyard or at a dog park dependent on how they interact with other dogs and owners wishes.

I got my own dachshund in 2021, so I’m very comfortable with the chaos and personality that comes with having a dog. I’m responsible, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and whatever they need to stick to their normal routine while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule, so pet care fits pretty easily into my day. I’m able to work walks, drop-ins, and plenty of playtime into my routine, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule around a pet’s needs. Looking to mostly watch pets at the pet owners home but in regards to safety, knowing that each home situation is different, I defer to the discretion of the owner in how they handle safety measures.

About: Having grown up with two dogs my entire life, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat ever animal with the same love and respect I give my own pets. As a college student, my schedule allows me plenty of time for pet care. I only have three classes on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and just one hour class on Tuesday and Thursday, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for visits, walks, feeding, and quality time with your pets. When caring for pets in a clients home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get walked, have playtime and receive plenty of tension. I also make sure to tidy up any messes and make sure the pet feel as comfortable as possible in their own environment.
About: I own 2 cats myself and have taken care of and lived with dogs before as well. I am also open to animals that may have some disabilities as well. I am located on St Pete beach but am open to the surrounding Tampa Bay Area. I currently work part time so I have a good amount of time to set aside throughout the week. “Jennifer is an absolute legend & we can’t say enough great things. This is coming from a VERY skeptical dog-watching-app-user. I’ve heard all the horror stories and have never had anyone outside of my family watch my dogs, so getting into Rover was a tough call for my husband and I. We had a long international trip planned a few months back & our friend fell through, so we were willing to give it a shot with rover. When we did the house visit with Jennifer, we felt so much better after seeing her beautiful family and home. We were still wary of the whole situation, obviously, but felt immediately reassured once we left and received all sorts of adorable updates via pictures, videos and messages with pup activities! She even let our little one (frenchie, who doesn’t leave Jennifer’s side) sleep in bed with her/her kids & she gives her all the love and extra attention she needs. She even took Chowder (frenchie) to pick up her kids from school one day, so fun! She knows our bigger dog (Obi) so well - she understands that he’s a chaotic ball of energy who doesn’t have boundaries and I trust her to keep him in line & keep him from chewing his sisters paws off lol. Jennifer’s whole family is hands on with the pups and it’s so reassuring and sweet to see people of all ages hanging out with our doggos. I swear it’s like vacation for the dogs too. I am 99% sure that the dogs think Jennifer is their other mom. She genuinely knows them so well, it is clear to us that she is an involved and attentive friend to the pups. We left our two dogs with her again for spring break and had the exact same experience, she is just truly the best. It has alleviated the stress of finding a family member to step in when we go on longer trips.
