“Jennifer is an absolute legend & we can’t say enough great things. This is coming from a VERY skeptical dog-watching-app-user. I’ve heard all the horror stories and have never had anyone outside of my family watch my dogs, so getting into Rover was a tough call for my husband and I. We had a long international trip planned a few months back & our friend fell through, so we were willing to give it a shot with rover. When we did the house visit with Jennifer, we felt so much better after seeing her beautiful family and home. We were still wary of the whole situation, obviously, but felt immediately reassured once we left and received all sorts of adorable updates via pictures, videos and messages with pup activities! She even let our little one (frenchie, who doesn’t leave Jennifer’s side) sleep in bed with her/her kids & she gives her all the love and extra attention she needs. She even took Chowder (frenchie) to pick up her kids from school one day, so fun! She knows our bigger dog (Obi) so well - she understands that he’s a chaotic ball of energy who doesn’t have boundaries and I trust her to keep him in line & keep him from chewing his sisters paws off lol. Jennifer’s whole family is hands on with the pups and it’s so reassuring and sweet to see people of all ages hanging out with our doggos. I swear it’s like vacation for the dogs too. I am 99% sure that the dogs think Jennifer is their other mom. She genuinely knows them so well, it is clear to us that she is an involved and attentive friend to the pups. We left our two dogs with her again for spring break and had the exact same experience, she is just truly the best. It has alleviated the stress of finding a family member to step in when we go on longer trips. Our dogs are our babies & we thought we’d never trust someone outside our family/friends, but here we are, all thanks to Jennifer (and her cute kids/family!) thank you Jennifer!!!!”

About: I grew up with two dogs that filled my life with so much joy. I just want to give that to your dogs even if it’s just a walk, a check in, or even a long term service. I have open availability to care for your fur babies. I do have a part time job but will be able to schedule around those few shifts I have a week. My priority is your animals! I am very adamant on keeping all dogs on leash unless in a gated backyard or at a dog park dependent on how they interact with other dogs and owners wishes.

About: I am new to the Saint Pete area, and looking for a side job to keep me active and busy! I have some experience with training, puppies, and 10 years experience with a rescue who had behavioral issues with other dogs. My dog passed before my move and I’m hoping to stay connected to other dogs as my apartment here doesn’t allow me to have one of my own! I work remotely and can be somewhat flexible with my schedule to do visits during the day. I mostly spend the weekends around st pete so pretty open availability on the weekend! About: All my life i’ve just loved animals. They bring so much joy and happiness into someone’s day. I believe that I can take great care of your precious pup whenever your in need. My family and I currently have 2 french bulldogs myself, one full of energy and my other is very relaxed and down to earth. I know how difficult it can be to find someone to take care of them while you are away on vacation or just out of town and enjoying yourself. Don’t worry tho, You came to the right person!! I’m a student at the University of Tampa! I’m best available Tuesday/Thursdays. However through discussion I’d possibly be able to make Monday/Wednesday/Friday work. Especially through the first two weeks into the semester starting Jan 19th to February 2nd! I currently have a 2 French bull dogs who are two are just 2 different characters! One is less maintenance, living to sleep and hang around all day while the other is super rambunctious. He loves belly rubs, frequently gets bursts of energy w/ the zoomies , loves treats and lots of attention so my family and always do our best to keep him active and in shape; Walks, Carrides, Jazz Music, Tv and Activities with toys tend to tire him right out. With a puppy, I know it can be a struggle but with the right methods, everything will slowly fall in to place. We of course always make sure he is well fed and constantly taken out.
About: If you need someone to give your animal attention or let out some energy, I’m your girl. We can go for a walk, a run or throw the ball in a park. Just let me know what level of activity you wish them to have. I always bring water for the pups and will try my hardest to bring them back happier and exercised. About: I have always had pets in my home, like dogs and/or cats, when I was in highschool many family friends and neighbors trusted me to pet sit for them while they would be away for a week or two. I would stay and play with the pets, feed them, and provide fresh water every day, go on walks, and keep in touch with the owners. I am in college and I work in a lab that cares for crested geckos where I feed them, and look at their environment levels (e.g. humidity) to make sure they are healthy! Or if they are a very active pet I will dedicate play time or outside time. I would also be in contact with the owner if anything alarming occurs or even just a picture of your pet.

About: I own 2 cats myself and have taken care of/lived with a large dog before (German shepherd). I have more experience with cats but have taken care of multiple types of dogs. I am open to animals that may have some disabilities as well. I have experience taking care of blind dogs/senior dogs! I am located on st Pete beach but am open to the surrounding Tampa Bay Area. I work full time but it is a late/evening shift so I can be available during the day as well as nights after work. I like to care for pets based on the how the owners would like them to be cared for. I would appreciate some instruction and background on pets so I can understand them better.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for dogs, cats, and chickens, many of them rescues. Over the years, I've gained experience caring for animals with a variety of personalities, ages, and care needs. I also have experience with pet sitting, dog walking, house sitting, and assisting with Rover clients. Spending time with animals is something I've always genuinely enjoyed, and I love getting to know each pet's unique personality. When you trust me with your pet, I will care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Since I mostly provide care in my clients' homes, I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine, so they feel comfortable while you're away. About: All my life i’ve just loved animals. They bring so much joy and happiness into someone’s day. I believe that I can take great care of your precious pup whenever your in need. My family and I currently have 2 french bulldogs myself, one full of energy and my other is very relaxed and down to earth. I know how difficult it can be to find someone to take care of them while you are away on vacation or just out of town and enjoying yourself. Don’t worry tho, You came to the right person!! I’m a student at the University of Tampa! I’m best available Tuesday/Thursdays. However through discussion I’d possibly be able to make Monday/Wednesday/Friday work. Especially through the first two weeks into the semester starting Jan 19th to February 2nd! I currently have a 2 French bull dogs who are two are just 2 different characters! One is less maintenance, living to sleep and hang around all day while the other is super rambunctious. He loves belly rubs, frequently gets bursts of energy w/ the zoomies , loves treats and lots of attention so my family and always do our best to keep him active and in shape; Walks, Carrides, Jazz Music, Tv and Activities with toys tend to tire him right out. With a puppy, I know it can be a struggle but with the right methods, everything will slowly fall in to place. We of course always make sure he is well fed and constantly taken out.
About: Having grown up with two dogs my entire life, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat ever animal with the same love and respect I give my own pets. As a college student, my schedule allows me plenty of time for pet care. I only have three classes on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and just one hour class on Tuesday and Thursday, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for visits, walks, feeding, and quality time with your pets. About: I have always had pets in my home, like dogs and/or cats, when I was in highschool many family friends and neighbors trusted me to pet sit for them while they would be away for a week or two. I would stay and play with the pets, feed them, and provide fresh water every day, go on walks, and keep in touch with the owners. I am in college and I work in a lab that cares for crested geckos where I feed them, and look at their environment levels (e.g. humidity) to make sure they are healthy! Caring for animals always brightens my day and I would be happy to care for your furry (or not) babies whether you are at work, or going on a trip! For the summer I am not in school, but I am doing participating in my lab for internship credits with this my schedule is pretty open on weekends and weekdays so I would be able to spend time with your pets however long they want or need! I would be able to do home visits, including drop-ins, staying etc. Whatever you feel comfortable with. I would follow what your pet needs like what kind of food, if there is any medications, any kinds of routines they have, etc. What I provide will depending on what the pet needs, like if they are an older dog or a couch potato I can do a slow walk or just chill and be a couch potato. Or if they are a very active pet I will dedicate play time or outside time. I would also be in contact with the owner if anything alarming occurs or even just a picture of your pet.
About: I grew up with two dogs that filled my life with so much joy. I just want to give that to your dogs even if it’s just a walk, a check in, or even a long term service. I have open availability to care for your fur babies. I do have a part time job but will be able to schedule around those few shifts I have a week. My priority is your animals! I am very adamant on keeping all dogs on leash unless in a gated backyard or at a dog park dependent on how they interact with other dogs and owners wishes.

About: I have had and taken care of pets of all shapes and sizes all of my life and have loved every single one. I have worked at pet resorts over the summer and have worked with every dog or cat breed you can think of. I always make sure my dogs have fresh water and of course toys to keep them entertained. Exercise is important for any animal and I always make sure they get just enough everyday, whether it be walking or simply playing fetch. When I watch other pets for families and make sure to follow their clear instructions and ask any questions that I am not 100% sure about. I also make sure to check on every pet every couple of hours to ensure they are well cared for.

I’ve heard all the horror stories and have never had anyone outside of my family watch my dogs, so getting into Rover was a tough call for my husband and I. We had a long international trip planned a few months back & our friend fell through, so we were willing to give it a shot with rover. When we did the house visit with Jennifer, we felt so much better after seeing her beautiful family and home. We were still wary of the whole situation, obviously, but felt immediately reassured once we left and received all sorts of adorable updates via pictures, videos and messages with pup activities! She even let our little one (frenchie, who doesn’t leave Jennifer’s side) sleep in bed with her/her kids & she gives her all the love and extra attention she needs. She even took Chowder (frenchie) to pick up her kids from school one day, so fun! She knows our bigger dog (Obi) so well - she understands that he’s a chaotic ball of energy who doesn’t have boundaries and I trust her to keep him in line & keep him from chewing his sisters paws off lol. Jennifer’s whole family is hands on with the pups and it’s so reassuring and sweet to see people of all ages hanging out with our doggos. I swear it’s like vacation for the dogs too. I am 99% sure that the dogs think Jennifer is their other mom. She genuinely knows them so well, it is clear to us that she is an involved and attentive friend to the pups. We left our two dogs with her again for spring break and had the exact same experience, she is just truly the best. It has alleviated the stress of finding a family member to step in when we go on longer trips.
