As a semi-retired teacher, I structure my day around walks, playtime, enrichment, and quiet rest periods, so visiting or boarding dogs easily fold into that routine. I’m home throughout the day, which helps me give lots of attention and keep a calm, predictable environment.

I have a young Lab who loves EVERYONE (as long as they’re polite!) and a calm senior who’s great with visiting dogs as long as they don’t jump on her. I do slow, supervised introductions to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
Ein typischer Tag
A typical day includes morning potty breaks, indoor/outdoor time with me as the doorwoman while I’m home so dogs can move freely between the house and the fenced yard, and plenty of calm hang-out time. I recently relocated to the St. Petersburg area and love spending time outdoors with dogs. When appropriate and with the owner's permission, I enjoy taking dogs on adventures such as walks in local parks or even occasional trips to the beach so they can explore and get plenty of exercise. My goal is always to make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I use long lines for safety when needed and adjust based on your dog’s comfort level and walking style. Back at home, dogs enjoy enrichment like snuffle mats, lick mats, and light training games. If your dog enjoys playing, my friendly young Lab is full of energy and loves games like fetch and “chase me” in the yard. If they prefer a quieter vibe, they can relax with Addie on the couch. Evenings are calm and predictable: outdoor breaks, relaxing time inside, and settling in for the night.

Hi! I’m currently finishing my certification with CATCH Canine Trainers Academy (positive reinforcement), and I am a soon to be working closely with an experienced trainer. I am good at reading dog body language and helping dogs feel safe and relaxed in my home. As a semi-retired teacher, I’m home throughout the day and structure my time around walks, enrichment, play, and rest, so visiting dogs naturally become part of a predictable, low-stress routine.

Hurley felt right at home with Pamela and her dog. She took great care of him. She kept me updated and sent pictures throughout the day. She gave him all his medicine and walked him everyday. Definitely recommend her to anyone!!!! Next time I need someone I will use her again!!!!
