“Kierra Was so kind to the dogs, very attentive and followed every direction we gave her to the fullest extent. Highly recommend, was able to help us out super last minute. We could’ve have asked for a better dog sitter.”

“Rachel is AMAZING! I couldn't be happier. She's SO sweet with my baby girl, reliable, and a true blessing. Anyone looking for someone to love on their furbaby, Rachel is an incredible human and will be a perfect fit!”

“Shannon was excellent and went above and beyond. She was accommodating for the meet and greet. Shya is anxious and nervous around new people but Shannon was patient during the meet and greet. Shya had no problems with Shannon and looked very relaxed in the pictures. Shannon was an excellent communicator, reliable, trustworthy and we would definitely book with her again.”

“Victoria is extremely friendly and responds quickly. She did a meet and greet before the walk where she asked questions, took notes and spent some time with our dog Sandy. She was given 4 paws by Sandy 🐾, which is the highest rating a dog can give 😁. We will definitely be using Victoria again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Elise was amazing! She kept great communication throughout both walks we scheduled for the day and sent us pictures to show us how happy the dogs were afterward. Great experience with Rover and with Elise!”

About: I have pet sitting experience since childhood with neighbors and friends. I currently have 3 dogs of various ages and routines that fit each age group. Personally, I an active girl who loves to be outside and animals help me feel grounded. A friend to all critters and creatures of the world! I am moving to a new area and my first apartment. I have a full time job until 1530 m-f, so dog walking or playing with cats is a great way for me to stay active. I also have a journey to learn more about myself through bonding with animals At home I have 3 dogs (mutts) of different ages (16, 6, and 6 months) so each has a different diet, active and potty routine. Making sure my pets are not only physically safe, but find comfort and love when they are with me. For example, my middle dog struggles with anxiety from being a rescue, and our daily walks snd play time can rile him up so I’ve worked on ways we can connect and remind him of the safe space we are in.
“Angelina was eager to meet Roy and wanted to ensure she was aware of his particular needs and routine. I appreciate how communicative she was. I knew Roy was in excellent hands! I will definitely reach out to her when needed in the future.”

“Sydney was fantastic!! I’m confident my dog was in good hands while I was away at work for long hours. She is super friendly and went above and beyond in many ways!”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with animals my entire life. I’ve had two horses, three dogs, a cat, and a pet rabbit in my life which has given me a diverse background with animals. I will take care of your animal like it’s my own, ensuring its happiness and safety above all. I am detail oriented and incredibly responsible with animals of all ages, and I am comfortable with administering medication if necessary. I look forward to taking care of your animal! I have two B.S degrees from FSU, where I graduated this past May. I have incredibly open availability right now which means I can check on/walk/care for your animal at pretty much any time of day! I’m currently waiting to start my full time job, so my availability is wide open! I am available during the day while you may be at work, or in the evening if you get off late, or in the early morning! Message me and we can figure out where I can intercept your needs :) I am comfortable handling animals of all sizes, and I know how to respect their boundaries (cat owners understand). When walking I always leash my animal and make sure to clean up after them, and make sure they remain hydrated in these hot temperatures.

Body language and demeanor are important for everyone’s safety, I have a sweet pup at home who loves everything and everyone, he doesn’t require a crate but we do have one on stand by.

“Karen has been dog walking for my handsome ol' man Chewbacca for a while now. It is easy to tell he is happier on the days she comes over. She is also thoughtful to get helpful feedback on how he is doing for the day, which is important as he is older and has had some illnesses. Karen also spends the time to give attention to my cats as well, including photos. I'm lucky to have her to take care of my Chewesph!”

“Kaitlyn was so nice and understanding! We met up before the walk so we could get to know each other and discuss my dog’s needs. She has the cutest little dachshund :) she kept me updated and sent pictures. This was my first time leaving him for so long so it was great to have someone stop in and check on my Obi. I would highly recommend her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pinellas Park
During our stay in St. Petersburg in an Airbnb, we sought a reliable dog care provider to assist us during our day-long absence. Daniel exhibited exceptional responsiveness, kindness, thoughtfulness, and care. Our pups thoroughly enjoyed their time under his supervision.

Lia is amazing!! She was super flexible and able to help me out with a very short notice request. It’s hard finding good, reliable, trustworthy help and after chatting with Lia, my mind was instantly at ease knowing I was leaving the care of my sweet pup in her hands—highly recommend!

Victoria provided exceptional care for my dog and consistently demonstrated reliability and professionalism. My pup was always genuinely happy to see her, which reflects the level of trust and attention she gave each visit. It was reassuring to know my dog was in capable and caring hands. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a dependable and compassionate dog walker.

So happy we found Sarah, as soon as we met her at the meet and greet I instantly knew she was the right choice, Max took to her instantly and I felt very comfortable with her caring and loving attitude towards Pets. The 1st visit walking Max went wonderful and we highly recommend Sarah!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
