“Another great stay with Linda! Our Bella seems to be so happy with staying at Linda's, and we feel so happy to have found someone that is able to take great care of Bella with her medical needs and on such short notice. Thank you such much!”
“Peter had a wonderful day with Autumn! She made sure he had plenty of walks and fun time outside, sent lots of picture updates and we so responsive! He even got to make friends with her two cats. I’ll definitely be rebooking with her! Thank you again :)”

“Rachel is just the 2nd pet sitter my 2 year old Chihuahua has had. Dante is very much a Momma's boy so I was very worried how he would do. I'm here for a 90 day TDY assignment and didn't want to leave him in Texas. The first day he was mad at me for leaving him with a stranger but by the 3rd day, he was adjusting and the 4th day he made a huge improvement. I'm thankful for Rachel's patience and the follow up. I plan to continue with Rachel 4 days a week thru June. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I house sit occasionally and care for peoples animals while they are away. Pet siting and dog walking are what I enjoy doing the most. I work full time Monday through Friday but leave work often to check on animals. I'm also available on the weekends. I also have my own dog named Otto , so I understand how having good pet care is important. I live in an apartment complex. There are a lot of places to walk dogs and it even has a nice big dog park at my complex.
“Kiley was amazing and took such good care of my dog Nike! We met her dog Skylar right out the gate and I could already tell Nike and her were going to get along just fine. She sent me a ton of photos to let me know how Nike was doing and when I picked him up he was so happy and tired out. Would recommend 100%”

“Another great day with Lauren! Lauren is quick to respond to our last minute request. We appreciate the pics she sends and Milo loves spending time with her and her little girl. Thanks, Lauren.”

“This was my dog Maeve's first time doing doggie daycare with Julie, Brian, and their dog Horatio, and she had a great time! They kept me updated during and gave me a full report afterward. I'll definitely be making this a regular thing!”

“Nikki has been kind enough to watch my high energy pup several times now. He always has a great time and comes home nice and tired! We will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thanks, Nikki!”

“My pup loved Joshua! My dog has separation anxiety and I expressed this to Joshua and he accommodated for him and made him feel as comfortable as possible. 100% recommend!”

“My Vinny had a great day with Miss Dian! I received updates and pictures to see how he was doing. Dian took exceptional care of my Vinny. Thank you!”

“Beverly was very accommodating to our schedule. Our puppy Bella had a delightful time playing with another dog. She was in good spirits when we picked her up and seemed to have enjoyed her stay. We would feel confident having her stay again with Beverly.”

About: I’ve been the go-to “dog auntie” since I was little, and I truly love spending time with them—big or small! Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, and love their pups like my own. I’m comfortable with all personalities, from shy snugglers to high-energy explorers, and I always make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. I work full-time remotely so I am always around. I am also available on weekends for walks, or drop-ins. Your pup will always have time for cuddles, play, and walks built into my routine. I have two friendly dogs and a fenced dog park in my community where pups can safely play and relax. I always treat every pet like family—whether that means sticking to their feeding routine, crate training, or just giving extra snuggles. You can trust your dog will be safe, happy, and cared for like my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pinellas Park
Jacquelyn was wonderful with my 14-week-old puppy, Georgia! She sent me updates and photos throughout the day which helped me feel at ease. Georgia can be a bit high-energy and is still learning naps/crate training, but Jacquelyn handled everything calmly and kindly. Her home felt safe and welcoming, and Georgia seemed comfortable and happy when I picked her up. I would absolutely book with her again!

Taylor was an AMAZING sitter. Would give 10 stars if I could. Louie was an amazing new friend to Willow and they were obsessed with each other the very second they met. Taylor was very responsive the entire time, sending videos and pics of our babies playing together and she let them get a ton of exercise. Hands down the best sitter on this app. 10/10 would recommend and will be repeating visits :)

Our puppy is just 5 months old and we did a short day sitting for her to become familiar and comfortable being away from us. Linda did a great job making our puppy feel comfortable and made sure she took her time to explore and slowly get used to the new experience!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Pinellas Park commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
