“I'm so happy I found Rachel! My Dante is doing better than expected and he's happy and energetic when I pick him up! His normal Texas sitter feeds him too many treats and plays him so hard, he is exhausted when I pick him up. I totally prefer his daycare now cause he has energy for his momma 😃. Thank you, Rachel! I can tell you he knows Peppa and Ocean by name cause he perks up when I tell him he's going to see them.”

“Linda was able to accommodate us last minute and really saved our day! I have a yorkie who is normally attached to my hip and when we picked him up he showed absolutely no signs of anxiety. After he greeted us he walked away and kept playing in the house. He was clearly very well loved and well taken care of. I’ll definitely be reaching out again next time I’m in the area! Linda is gentle and trustworthy. I highly recommend her.”

“Voici une version corrigée : Kierra was absolutely amazing with Lucky! She took such great care of her and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Lucky was happy, comfortable, and well loved while he was with her. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would definitely book with Kierra again. Thank you so much!”

“Kiley was amazing and took such good care of my dog Nike! We met her dog Skylar right out the gate and I could already tell Nike and her were going to get along just fine. She sent me a ton of photos to let me know how Nike was doing and when I picked him up he was so happy and tired out. Would recommend 100%”

“Dian is fantastic. Responded quickly, made everything easy, and our pups loved each other. Nancy Drew didn't stop smiling from her big visit with Dian until she fell asleep. Will definitely use Dian again.”

About: I’ve been the go-to “dog auntie” since I was little, and I truly love spending time with them—big or small! Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, and love their pups like my own. I’m comfortable with all personalities, from shy snugglers to high-energy explorers, and I always make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. I work full-time remotely so I am always around. I am also available on weekends for walks, or drop-ins. Your pup will always have time for cuddles, play, and walks built into my routine. I have two friendly dogs and a fenced dog park in my community where pups can safely play and relax. I always treat every pet like family—whether that means sticking to their feeding routine, crate training, or just giving extra snuggles. You can trust your dog will be safe, happy, and cared for like my own.
“Jennifer was awesome. She took great care of my 2 mini dachshunds. You can tell Jennifer loves pets. She sent great photos and a video through out the day. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Amy was amazing. I always feel guilty leaving Piper with anyone but not this time. Amy sent pics throughout the day and treated Piper like she was her own fur baby. Thank you Amy for taking such great care of Piper! ❤️”

“Brent was very responsive to our request for doggy daycare while we enjoyed a day at the beach with friends. He took great care of our pups and they were nice and just as worn out as we were!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I entrusted Justine with Boba, my 2.5-year-old CaneCorxer, and couldn't be happier with the experience. Justine and her boyfriend went above and beyond in ensuring Boba was well-taken care of. From long walks to runs and overnight stays, they made sure Boba felt at home and loved. Their dedication and genuine affection for pets shone through. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a trustworthy and loving sitter for their fur-baby!”
About: I have had pets my whole life (dogs, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs). Ever since my dog passed in 2017, my family and I have helped foster over 100 dogs with our local no-kill shelter. I actually just rescued a puppy myself from that same shelter! I am reliable, caring and a lover of animals. My fiancé and I are always available to take care of whichever love puppy you need cared for. We love animals. My fiancé and I work from home and are available anytime any day. We also can do overnights if needed! We can be available on weekends or weekdays! I live in a house with my boyfriend and rescue puppy (6 months old as of May 2026) with a fenced in yard. We both work from home so we can take the dog out at any time. We show so much love and affection for any animal that enters our house :)
“Julie + Brian are SO nice! Super sweet, kind, caring, and 100% dog lovers! Appreciate you and can’t thank you enough for taking such great care of my dog-ter!”

About: As a dog mom for more than 10 years, I know that pets are family. I have also fostered dogs several times, which taught me how to care for animals with different personalities, backgrounds, and needs. Some pets adjust quickly, while others need extra patience, reassurance, and a gentle approach—and I’m comfortable with both. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, sticking to their routine, or simply providing companionship, I will treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own dog. I’m a full-time mom, so I have plenty of time to be fully present with your pups throughout the day. Our home has a very steady rhythm — quiet mornings, gentle play time, outdoor walks, and cozy evening wind-downs. Weekdays: I’m home almost the entire day, so your dog will have: • consistent companionship • multiple short walks • regular bathroom breaks • lots of calm time to relax No surprises. No last-minute changes. You will always know where your dog is and how they’re doing. I send photos + videos daily so you can enjoy your day with peace of mind. At my home, your dog will be in a calm, gentle, and family-like environment. We keep the day slow and predictable, which helps dogs feel safe and relaxed. Care in my home looks like: • One dog at a time — no chaos or overstimulation • No other pets — full attention and calm atmosphere • Private rest area — your dog can relax whenever needed • Clear boundaries — my 6-year-old knows to give dogs space • No forced interaction — we let your dog approach at their own pace • Consistent short walks and soft, patient companionship • Daily photo/video updates for your peace of mind. Your dog will not feel like a boarder here — they will be treated like family. Our focus is safety, comfort, and emotional ease. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your routine exactly, so your dog or cat feels secure and understood. • I keep feeding, walking, and rest times consistent with their normal schedule • I use the same words, cues, and contact style your dog is used to • I respect your home just as I respect your pet: clean, calm, safe, and intentional • I observe body language to understand what your pet needs (space, closeness, quiet, or play) • I send updates every visit, so you feel connected and worry-free My focus is always on creating a predictable, kind, and soothing experience for your pet — wherever they are.

About: I've taken care of numerous pets throughout my life for friends, neighbors and my own pets from puppies to senior. I enjoy all sizes, ages and breeds! I am home everyday with open availability to care for your furbabies! Whether you need an earlier drop off or an evening pickup we are always available. New fence to ensure the safety of your baby. James, my black lab mix, will provide company, fun and rest buddy. Crating is available if need be or perhaps a comfy couch.
“Brianna was wonderful for my dog Cody. He was peaceful and happy with her. She provided a safe environment. Cody is a nervous little guy and it is important to me that he is cared for by someone who is patient and understanding. I will definitely book with Brianna when I need a dog sitter again.”

“To say Kratos had a great time with Venus and fur friends is an understatement ! I received updated statuses regularly and never once wondered what my lil land shark was up to. She gave him such a great balance of play time and quiet time. Her dogs are very kind and gentle with play time with my puppy. She was incredibly attentive and kept a watchful eye on our crazy pup. Kratos was heartbroken everyday to leave his fur friends behind when it came time to me picking him back up. I would request her to watch him again in a heartbeat ! Her place is his home away from home 💕🐶 I can’t thank her enough for the pawesome pet sitting she provided !”

About: Over the last 17 years I've had an ever growing passion for dogs, i want to be a dog trainer eventually. I am as patient and kind as they need me to be and I do not try to push dogs into things the dont want to do. I do not have a job currently, and I'm doing this for fun, and a little money on the side. I truly care about dogs and want to ensure they get the best care possible, so I wake up and usually take my 3 dogs out to the park near me to walk the trails, and then home to work on training and relaxing We have 2 more smaller afternoon walks before having a final night time potty walk. We play with lots of toys and I do alot of training to settle eith my 2 puppies Dogs are always welcomed to snuggle on the couch or just lounge around the house. I always have at least 1 dog trailing me around wondering what I'm up too

Jennifer is truly beyond amazing. This was my first time ever leaving my fur baby with anyone, and she gave us complete peace of mind. She cared for our baby as if she were a human child — with so much love, patience, and attention. The updates and pictures she sent made everything worry‑free. Jennifer is heaven‑sent, and I highly recommend her.

Madison was amazing with my pups! They loved all the attention and plenty of outdoor romp time in the yard! They made new besties w/her sweet pups! Madison consistently kept me updated w/adorable pics! I knew my pups were in the best of hands having the time of their lives while I was at work. I highly recommend Madison for all your pup needs! We definitely will see her again! 😊 🐶

Adrina is the best! She cared for my puppy so well and he did so good in her care! He went on a walk and played with her sweet dog, had so much fun and came home tired! She sent me plenty of pictures and updates, which was so great to see! We are big fans of her and will be back:)

Jacquelyn was wonderful with my 14-week-old puppy, Georgia! She sent me updates and photos throughout the day which helped me feel at ease. Georgia can be a bit high-energy and is still learning naps/crate training, but Jacquelyn handled everything calmly and kindly. Her home felt safe and welcoming, and Georgia seemed comfortable and happy when I picked her up. I would absolutely book with her again!

Taylor was an AMAZING sitter. Would give 10 stars if I could. Louie was an amazing new friend to Willow and they were obsessed with each other the very second they met. Taylor was very responsive the entire time, sending videos and pics of our babies playing together and she let them get a ton of exercise. Hands down the best sitter on this app. 10/10 would recommend and will be repeating visits :)

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
