“Iva communicates very well and even though I was worried, made me feel at ease leaving my dogs in her care. My newest pup is a bit much and she didn’t let me worry at all and I came home to two very happy dogs”

“Victoria always goes above and beyond, she even took our pups to the park to play! She is on time, organized and always communicates with us if any questions come up. She gives our pup eye drops which is a huge help since he has some extra needs and she helps with their special food as well. We are so grateful to have found Victoria and will continue to book whenever we need some help!”

“Daniel and his family are great when it comes to my pup. This time it was very last minute because of my job and Daniel accepted. He is very responsive and follows what you ask when taking care of your 4-legged family”

“Kierra was absolutely amazing!! She took great care of my cats while I was away. Any time she had a question she would contact me and go to extra efforts to make everything work. She is very responsive, flexible, and reliable. I highly recommend booking with her!”

“I can't say enough good things about the experience with Isaac. He was very thorough in our meet & greet ensuring mine & my dog's needs were met. His check-ins were very thorough & this gave me such peace of mind being away on business for 4 days. I came home to a very happy pup & this made me a very happy pet parent. Will be booking again!”

“Alexandria was great with our pups!! She came to the meet & greet and asked great questions that made us feel comfortable with her taking care of our pups. She was very responsive for any question or check ins we had. Definitely recommend!!”

“Tihana was able to care for my cats on extremely short notice after our caretaker fell through after we were already out of the country on our honeymoon. I was completely panicked and she was very kind and understanding.”

“Sydney went above and beyond to care for our cat while we were away for a few days over Thanksgiving. Our cat was initially pretty stressed due to a stranger giving medication, but Sydney gave extra time and care to make sure she was comfortable and she quickly opened up. By the end they were good friends :) Sydney was always quick to communicate, punctual with visits, and sent photos, which gave us much-needed peace of mind as we were away from home. We will definitely book again!”

“Super professional, friendly and responsive. I can’t wait for Jonell to watch my cats again! My cats loved her and I felt really comfortable with her taking care of my pets and my home. Awesome experience!”

“Zachary was amazing! Our dog loved him instantly and he was so patient with her. He kept us updated with photos. He dropped in on our dog multiple times during an impending hurricane - I would have understood if he’d canceled under the circumstances. I would absolutely use Zachary’s services again.”

“Kelly was amazing with the boys! Bruce is reactive to new people coming into the home. She did amazing with him! Its amazing knowing that we have somebody whenever we need so close by! Thank you, Kelly! Can’t wait to use you again.”
“Gracie was visibly happy in the photos. Gracie doesn’t usually eat when I am out of town and others are watching her. I was so happy to hear she was eating. Brooke was great and communicated daily. She was great!!”

About: I’ve taken care of so many types of animals but pretty much grew up with dogs and cats. I can train, walk, play or do anything you wish me to do with no problems! I am current studying part time. Since I have a lot of spare time left in the afternoon and nights, I would love to do something that I love and be productive. I have a big fenced back yard that they can walk and run around. They’re also welcome to be on any furniture they like. My home is pet friendly
“Everything seemed FINE when I returned. I'd like to ask Trinity two small questions though; please put her in touch with me: 813-585-7837. I would be happy to have her work with my cats again -- and I think my cats would be happy to see her again, too. How can I leave her a tip?”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pinellas Park
Cora's 2nd sit with Sasha and it was great! She spends time giving attention and playing with her and she sends messages and pictures every day. Cora is very responsible and trustworthy and I will ask her to take care of my kitty again. I don't worry about my kitty when I'm gone, she enjoys seeing Cora!

Angelina was super great with my cat. She dropped in several times during my work trip to make sure he was good on water, food, and litter box. She also sent me really sweet pictures of him which was appreciated. I would definitely recommend Angelina to anyone who needs a reliable pet sitter.

Meeting Rebecca for the meet and greet, I was very impressed with her. Even though she’s new on Rover she has a lot of experience with animals. The boys were curious about her when she arrived! They usually hide! She took such great care of them and even got their lazy butts to play for more than 5 minutes! That’s impressive! I think they want me to go on vacation again soon! I will not hesitate to book her again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rachel is amazing! She always follows every instruction, gives great updates and pictures, and takes such wonderful care of our cats. They genuinely enjoy her company and her gentle, calm nature—they actually come out to see her, which says a lot! We always come home to happy, relaxed cats who don’t seem stressed that we were away. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in such caring hands. We couldn’t recommend Rachel more!

Elise is wonderful! She is a confident and caring handler, and we can always trust that Maggie is in good hands. Elise is knowledgeable, calm and comfortable (due to her experience) with ecollar training, which is very important to us. She reinforces all of the training that we are doing with Maggie, which is a godsend. She communicates any changes in her behavior, and questions the changes she should if something seems out of the normal. Elise also let's us know the improvements she sees, which is invaluable. Knowing that what we work on with her, carries through when we are not around is something that matters to us when it comes to Maggie's development and growth. We love having Elise be part of our puppy team, and you will be happy having her on yours as well!

I highly recommend Armando to look after puppies! I needed a sitter for my puppy just a few days after getting her in order for me to keep a prior commitment and he was excellent with her. He helped reinforce some training and did a great job managing her puppy energy and personality. It takes a special person to understand and deliver on the needed of a puppy and Armando did not disappoint.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
