About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have cared for them throughout my entire life. I currently have two dogs of my own, a 6 year old Shar-Pei/Pit mix and a 13 year old Dachshund mix. I also regularly care for my mom’s Pit Bull when she travels. Through caring for my own dogs and family pets, I have hands on experience with senior dogs, reactive dogs, allergies and sensitive skin, different energy levels, and dogs who need extra patience and attention. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I’m comfortable adjusting my care to meet their individual needs. I genuinely enjoy everything that comes with caring for dogs, from walks and playtime to feeding, enrichment, potty breaks, and simply keeping them company. I work remotely full time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m able to make multiple visits throughout the day and can spend extended time with pets rather than only stopping by briefly. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet gets the time and attention they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. When caring for pets in their home, I follow their normal routines and your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, potty breaks, and any house rules. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 15 from Boston terriers to Rottweilers. Just like humans, they are all special in their own way, requiring you to flex to their communication style. This requires being in tune with the pup's personality as well as their behavior. For example, some love to walk and say hi to everyone who passes while some prefer to walk at their own speed and take plenty of stops to sniff the grass. If you need a recurring walker, send me a message! If my schedule is showing unavailable, send me a message! I currently have morning/afternoon availability. If you are requesting a one time walk or after 3 PM, please reach out. I will always try to accommodate! I treat everyone's home and pup as if they are my own. Respect is huge. I would expect the same if I was putting trust into someone to watch over my fur baby. I always notify 5-10 minutes before I arrive as well as leave a detailed description of how our walk was. I am very diligent to send pictures while on the walk at least every 5 minutes. If they need water or treats along the way or even after, it is my priority to ensure they are well taken care of.
About: I grew up surrounded by animals! At one point we had 2 large labs, 3 rabbits, 2 cats and fish! All of my animals lived a happy and healthy life, with lots of outdoor time! During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
