This was Birdie's first time staying with anyone other than our next door neighbor, so we were a little concerned if she'd.be comfortable and would "behave herself". We needn't' have worried about anything. Claire is so relaxed and welcoming, and it's clear all the dogs that stay with her are comfortable, happy and just have a ball! Claire sent us photos throughout Birdie's weekend stay, showing her and her other "guests" walking on the beach trail, romping in the backyard and sleeping happily. She gave her walks (they saw dolphins 🥰), potty breaks, helped our Lia become comfortable around another pup and new surrounding. Checked in and sent pics throughout the day. “I had a last minute request (day before) for someone to watch my dog for a day because he recently injured his pads on all 4 feet and I needed to go to work but was not comfortable leaving him alone. At the time when Kathleen watched him, he was in a cone and on medication. When we talked beforehand, Kathleen was very kind and thoughtful, asking great questions and anticipating potential needs to make sure he would be safe and comfy in her care. While watching him, he ended up feeling a bit better than he had been in previous days and not as groggy from his medications, so was not as calm as I thought he would be for her, but she still did a great job of making sure he stayed safe and did not re-injure his feet. She provided updates at reasonable intervals without me having to ask and was very kind the entire time, even with me not knowing exactly what time I would be able to pick him up. Thanks so much to Kathleen, I would definitely trust her to watch my boy again.”

About: I have been caring for dogs most of my life and love every dog as if they’re my own. I have experience with all life stages and personalities - whether your dog is high energy and needs lots of playtime or is a senior who just wants to relax and be loved on. I am used to medication management, special diets, mobility challenges and bottle feeding. My adult dog, Olive, is always looking for a new friend to play with. I also foster puppies from time to time, so there may be lots of new friends for your pup to interact with while they’re here. I tailor my care to match animals’ personality and routine. My goal is to make them feel safe, happy and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether that is day care during the day or a long-term trip, they will be in good hands. I am fully remote and will be with your pup(s) all day. We will have plenty of outdoor play time during the day and always make time for afternoon naps. There is a nice 3 mile walking path by my house, so if your dog is very active and likes to walk or run, I would love to bring them along. For less active dogs, there will always be a comfy spot on the couch for them! I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for them to explore. My dog, Olive, loves to run around back there. There are also cooling mats on the back porch if your dog likes to sunbathe.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life with my own fur baby. She is very friendly towards other animals and usually lets other dogs be more dominant. Live right next to a dog park and Willow would love to play with your dog there! I work from home so I am very flexible with care. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or play schedule,I am available to make it happen. Let me know what your preferences are. Willow is fed and walked in the morning and at night. Pets are allowed in the bed and on furniture. We frequent dog parks as she likes to play with other animals vs chase balls.

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8 years old. Growing up we always had at least 4 dogs in our household, and when I left college I knew I wanted a dog in my home. I found my dog, Herald, on the streets of Montana, and gave him his forever home. I have cared for him and friends, family and neighbors pets when I am able to and know the love and care a dog needs to be safe and secure. I am currently working part-time, and when I get a full-time job, I am looking for something remote. I can make sure my schedule meets my client's needs and can guarantee all pups will be played with, taken out for bathroom breaks, and given walks and treats! Currently, I will not offer dogs in my home unless absolutely necessary. I don't have a fenced-in yard yet, so I don't want to take the chance. However, I will adhere to all rules at my client's home and make sure their pet stays safe and secure.

About: I house sit occasionally and care for peoples animals while they are away. Pet siting and dog walking are what I enjoy doing the most. I work full time Monday through Friday but leave work often to check on animals. I'm also available on the weekends. I also have my own dog named Otto , so I understand how having good pet care is important. I live in an apartment complex. There are a lot of places to walk dogs and it even has a nice big dog park at my complex.
“Tony is AMAZING! I can’t say enough. An absolute perfect fit for my little (ok big) shih tzu. Lots of updates and photos. Immediately felt comfortable with him, and my dog CheChe couldn’t stop staring at him and wagging his tail (I’m not sure he even noticed when I left lol). I live in an apartment too, so it was an easy adjustment for CheChe. I don’t work at home, but Tony does, and I think his constant presence was very reassuring for CheChe. Tony was very diligent about feeding preferences and allergies, I felt so comfortable leaving CheChe with him for 9 days while I went on a cruise. I guarantee I will have Tony watch him again, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. And hey fun fact! If you go on a Disney cruise, you will still get the rover notifications from your sitter with the free WiFi! I couldn’t respond, but I loved seeing Tony’s daily updates.”
