About: Home away from home level love. Expect expert level care, with lots of love, play and snuggles! I only take a few dogs at a time, so that it doesn't get too crowded and everyone gets plenty of attention. We take puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, guinea pigs...you name it! I work from home, so I am rarely away from the pups on weekdays. Drop off times are pretty flexible. Pick up time ends at 8pm. I love when I have conference calls at home and the dogs make a cameo appearance. It makes everyone's day! I have a nice fenced in yard with shady spots throughout. There is a pool that the dogs can swim in if they want. I also have security cameras inside so I can check in when we are not home. Dogs love our doggie door for the freedom to come and go.
“This was my dog Maeve's first time doing doggie daycare with Julie, Brian, and their dog Horatio, and she had a great time! They kept me updated during and gave me a full report afterward. I'll definitely be making this a regular thing!”

“Taytumn took the best care of my girls and on such short notice! It was everything I could want for daycare for my dogs- pictures and updates, a beautiful backyard and a friendly and communicative caregiver. Amelia & Penelope will definitely be back.”

“Met Evette and her adorable lab named Lady for a meet & greet and 5-hour daycare session. We plan to hire Evette for some upcoming 60 min dog walks next week and wanted to bring our lab Gunnar over to her house to connect them and make sure he felt comfortable with her. Evette & Lady were welcoming and loving!! 🥰”

“Nikki has been kind enough to watch my high energy pup several times now. He always has a great time and comes home nice and tired! We will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thanks, Nikki!”

About: I have owned eleven dogs in my lifetime, I have personally hand-delivered a litter of seven purebred puppies, raised and showed an AKC Champion. Each dog will be personally cared for as if it was my own. The environment in my home is calm, peaceful, a private fenced-in yard, smoke, drug, and alchohol free. ***Please note, I do not take Pit Bulls, Pit Bull mixed breeds, this includes Bully's and American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers.*** I am a stay-at-home guy with plenty of time to give your companion plenty of personal attention. I am available to care for your dog 24/7. I have a fully fenced-in private backyard and garden for your dogs to enjoy. I have an outdoor shower for bathing and I also offer grooming.

“Beverly did a wonderful job taking care of my foster greyhound, Mongoose. He always left her home happy and tired, and I know he enjoyed roaming around her fenced yard! She was very kind in accommodating his separation anxiety and I would absolutely hire her again to care for my pets.”

“My pup loved Joshua! My dog has separation anxiety and I expressed this to Joshua and he accommodated for him and made him feel as comfortable as possible. 100% recommend!”

“Laurie was the best!! She sent me so many videos of my dog Nike playing and he had a ton of fun with all the dogs there. She has a huge backyard too so Nike had plenty of room to run around in. She even managed to tire him out by midday which is an almost unheard of fear. Definitely will be booking with her again!”

“Brittany and Stephen are very caring and did great with our 2 older pups. We appreciate them and they have made our pets feel safe and comfortable. We would recommend them to anyone for dog sitting or daycare.”

I'm located in downtown St. Pete on Central Ave, have transportation, and can be flexible with times and logistics. I have my own transportation. I'm on the first floor of an apartment complex with easy access to great walking routes and a minutes walk away from a great dog park. As a dog owner, I know how important play and exercise are and will make sure they're having a good time!

We currently have two senior dogs, one who is blind and deaf and a bunny! We are very used to administering medications and dealing with special needs dogs. Mark is Pet CPR certified. We will will happily take your pup for a walk, to the park, and provide tons of love and snuggles while you’re away! We will be happy to send you updates and keep you informed on how they are doing while you are away. I work from home so your pup will almost never be alone! I go to the gym for about 2 hours in the evening but other than that I am home with them. I have a dog of my own as well as having grown up with dogs. I am an active foster for the Tampa Bay humane society as well as several other organizations. I am experience with puppies through senior dogs as well as giving medication and special accommodations. My back yard was designed with dogs in mind. We have a huge fully fenced turf outdoor area as well as a separate fenced dog park with a fire hydrant to allow us the ability to separate the dogs during outdoor time if needed.

“My Vinny had a great day with Miss Dian! I received updates and pictures to see how he was doing. Dian took exceptional care of my Vinny. Thank you!”
About: My partner and I have taken care of dogs since we were both kids. We've taken care of a variety of dogs big and small. We currently have 2 dogs, Paco and Lola who are ready for visitors and new friends! I work from home and will integrate your pet's routine into our own routine. I regularly take the dogs out for a potty break every 1-2 hours and let them stretch their legs and get some good play time in our large backyard. Breakfast is usually around 8AM and dinner around 6PM; however, we're more than happy to accommodate any schedule/routine you already have in place. We have a variety of toys and will ensure that your loved one not only gets the care they need, but the attention they deserve! I have a fenced yard large enough for any sort of zoomies. I regularly treat the yard for fleas, ticks and other insects, so your pet is safe from these pests. Someone is home all day to ensure your pet is tended to. We do allow our furry friends to explore, as long as they're friendly and get along with others.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Petersburg
We had the absolute BEST experience with Tiffany watching our 8-year-old German Shepherd, Piper Rose! From the moment we met her, we knew Piper was in loving and capable hands. Tiffany went above and beyond to make sure Piper felt comfortable, happy, and cared for while we were away. We got updates, photos, and could clearly see how relaxed and content Piper was the entire time which was amazing since I’m always a worried mom dropping her kid off at “school” . When we picked her up, she was calm, happy, and honestly looked like she had her own little vacation! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our girl was being treated like family. Tiffany is kind, reliable, attentive, and truly has a special way with dogs. We couldn’t recommend her more highly and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our sweet Piper Rose! 💓💓 We will be using Tiffany again when we visit!

Marc & Erandi provides an absolutely amazing experience! They accepted my booking super last minute and were incredibly kind, communicative, and caring the entire time. They sent pictures which made me feel so reassured while I was away. My dog was very happy and well taken care of. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, quick to communicate, and thoughtful sitters!

Pamela was awesome! Petey had a great time with her and her cute pups. They went on walks and played in the yard and he came home tired and happy. She was flexible with my early morning drop off time and great with communication. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him!

Brittany and Stephen were really great. I was a bit concerned because my Chiquita is a senior dog and has cataracts. Scooter on the other hand is very energetic even at 14. I'm very happy with the care they provided. The "kids" looked happy and ready when I picked them up! Will definitely use them again!

Kayleigh was great! I highly recommend her. While visiting St. Pete with my dog I needed a sitter so I could enjoy the beach with friends. We first did a meet and greet where she made Apollo and I feel super comfortable. Her home and her family are lovely. I found her to be 100% trustworthy and responsive. I will definitely use her again when in the area.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Saint Petersburg commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
