I am a lifelong dog lover. My own 6-year-old pup, Ramona, is a rescue who started out incredibly shy and fearful. With a lot of patience and love, she completely blossomed into the little weirdo we love today. We will take all the time needed to build trust with more sensitive, nervous, or shy dogs. And we'll spoil them as much as you'll let us! . Whether your dog is a social butterfly or a rescue who needs a gentle touch, I have the time, space, and experience to make them feel entirely safe.

What a find! The beautiful Ramona has a heart of gold, and Alex and Andy are okay too! Under Alex's intuitive care, my nervous pup pranced on a walk, then melted into a lap dog, happy to be where Alex was. At the end of the stay, my little one was calm as could be, emitting little moans of pleasure like she does when she is intensely happy. I'm very grateful and will definitely be back.

Schedule
Since both my husband and I work from home full-time, hanging out with dogs is our daily routine! Your pup will be part of the family from the moment they arrive, getting 24/7 company and endless attention while we work. Our days are highly flexible and filled with supervised yard time in our fenced backyard, playtime, and cooling off inside. We are just half a mile from Crescent Lake Park, which makes the perfect spot for fun mid-day or evening walks. We want your fur-baby to feel totally at home, so they are always welcome on the furniture, and they can even sleep with us in our king-sized bed if they love to cuddle!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust mean everything to us. Our big backyard is fully fenced and secure, and we always supervise yard time to make sure everyone plays safely. Inside, our home is completely dog-proofed, cozy, and climate-controlled for hot days. Because of our experience with our rescue pup Ramona, we do very slow, supervised introductions so all dogs feel happy and safe. We never leave guest dogs unattended together. Our in-law suite gives us a dedicated, separate space to feed dogs individually so they can eat in peace without any stress. We strictly follow your specific feeding, medication, and care routines, and we will send you daily photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your fur-baby is in great hands!

A typical day
Dogs have full time access to our fenced backyard. Our canine ambassador Ramona can’t wait to show your pup all her favorite spots. As long as the heat and rain allow it your pup can count on a walk through Crescent Lake park or a short shady stroll through the neighborhood if mobility is limited.
