About: Hello! I am a lifelong pet-sitter, new to the platform. After recently losing my elderly cocker spaniel, I am looking to return to caring for other people’s pets! I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and hamsters, and live in a clean, pet-friendly home with a fenced yard and walking distance to three different parks. I am retired from healthcare, BLS certified, active, fun-loving and professional. I look forward to meeting your pet! I have an empty nest and am an active young retiree, so I am home all day except for trips to the park for exercise and the petstore for treats! I live in a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard for quick potty breaks, but prefer taking walks around one of the beautiful nearby parks if your dog is willing. I welcome all well-behaved dogs, crate-trained or not.

She gave her walks (they saw dolphins 🥰), potty breaks, helped our Lia become comfortable around another pup and new surrounding. Checked in and sent pics throughout the day. About: I have been caring for dogs most of my life and love every dog as if they’re my own. I have experience with all life stages and personalities - whether your dog is high energy and needs lots of playtime or is a senior who just wants to relax and be loved on. I am used to medication management, special diets, mobility challenges and bottle feeding. My adult dog, Olive, is always looking for a new friend to play with. I also foster puppies from time to time, so there may be lots of new friends for your pup to interact with while they’re here. I tailor my care to match animals’ personality and routine. My goal is to make them feel safe, happy and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether that is day care during the day or a long-term trip, they will be in good hands. I am fully remote and will be with your pup(s) all day. We will have plenty of outdoor play time during the day and always make time for afternoon naps. There is a nice 3 mile walking path by my house, so if your dog is very active and likes to walk or run, I would love to bring them along. For less active dogs, there will always be a comfy spot on the couch for them! I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for them to explore. My dog, Olive, loves to run around back there. There are also cooling mats on the back porch if your dog likes to sunbathe.

She sent me lots of pictures during her stay and I couldn’t believe it, she was happy and playing with the other dogs! “I had a last minute request (day before) for someone to watch my dog for a day because he recently injured his pads on all 4 feet and I needed to go to work but was not comfortable leaving him alone. At the time when Kathleen watched him, he was in a cone and on medication. When we talked beforehand, Kathleen was very kind and thoughtful, asking great questions and anticipating potential needs to make sure he would be safe and comfy in her care. While watching him, he ended up feeling a bit better than he had been in previous days and not as groggy from his medications, so was not as calm as I thought he would be for her, but she still did a great job of making sure he stayed safe and did not re-injure his feet. She provided updates at reasonable intervals without me having to ask and was very kind the entire time, even with me not knowing exactly what time I would be able to pick him up. Thanks so much to Kathleen, I would definitely trust her to watch my boy again.”

They didn’t just watch Brisket, they treated him like he was part of their family. Throughout the day, I received multiple updates and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I picked him up, he even had a personalized treat bag complete with a hand-drawn picture of him and a sweet little necklace! The best sign of all? He came home happy, content, and completely exhausted from all the fun he had. It was obvious he was loved, cared for, and had an amazing time.
