From the first time I messaged Susan, she was very friendly and willing to work with our schedules to do a meet and greet, and she agreed to care for both our pups (one senior and one with anxiety), while only meeting one of them during the meet and greet. During our boys’ weeklong stay with Susan, we got daily updates with pics, which gave us so much peace of mind because we knew our boys were getting so greatly cared for while we were away, and they got plenty of walks and attention, since Susan only takes one pup or family at a time. One of our pups ended up getting an upset stomach on the bed of the other pup, and Susan went above and beyond in dealing with this situation, even going as far as washing the bed so it was clean for us when we arrived to pick them up. It can be hard to leave your furry babies with someone you just met, but we got the most amazing and calm energy from Susan from the first time we met, even our anxious boy went up to her to get scratches (which has NOT happened before with anyone), and we just knew this was going to be someone who would really take care of both pups. 10000% recommended, and we will most definitely be rebooking for future travels! About: I’ve cared for cats for years through pet sitting for friends and neighbors, and I really enjoy getting to know each cat’s personality. Every kitty is different and unique! As a pet owner myself, I know just how important it is to have someone who’s really paying attention to your fur baby, not just doing the typical basics. I always keep an eye on things like appetite, litter box habits, and behavior changes, and I’ll always let you know if anything seems off and if your cat is doing well while you’re away. About: My work allows me to work from home and I also leave the house to meet with clients out in my community (as a Real Estate Advisor) which allows me the flexibility to care for pets through the day. We are up at 5am and generally go to bed around 10pm. I am self employed (Real Estate Agent) so I have a flexible schedule and work from home and when I leave I am away from home for about 2-4 hours. I have a quiet home in a quiet safe community. I keep busy at home throughout the day with working on the computer to doing basic household chores and some gardening so your dog will stay stimulated and keep active. And there’s plenty of rest and relaxation too! SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT: I offer both EXCLUSIVE boarding starting at $60/night and MULTI-family boarding starting at $35/night - your choice depending on your dogs comfort level with other dogs. If you choose EXCLUSIVE Boarding or Daycare, your dog/dogs will the only dogs in my home when they stay. I have a nice fenced in backyard. And I NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOGS OUTSIDE ALONE OR UNATTENDED. If your dog is accustomed to going to kennels or doggy day care then I also offer a reduced rate for MULTI-FAMILY BOARDING in which your dog(s) could be with dogs from other homes, depending on your dogs’ temperament and disposition. I DO NOT MIX AGGRESSIVE DOGS TOGETHER. I know my regular clients very well and understand which dogs may or may not be a good fit for each other. In the middle of summertime I am very careful so as not to overheat your pup! About: Hi, I'm Lexi! I've grown up alongside 2-3 dogs, which has inspired my love for any and all animals! I've pet-sat a wide variety of animals (list is below) and have 3 years of experience volunteering at animal shelters. Their happiness is my happiness :) On Tues-Thurs, I work from 8a-5p (and I’m home from 12:20p-12:40p to check on my doggos). On Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon, I’m off work and will be right there to hang out with your fur babies all day! They can freely roam inside and outside while I’m there (we have a indoor/outdoor sunroom and a fenced-in yard), they're allowed on beds/furniture, and I won’t practice crating unless I'm instructed to. I live right by a park, so I love taking my dogs for short walks or just to go roam around in the lawn, whatever they're in the mood for :) I'm super attentive to their needs, as I currently own two senior doggos (a beagle and a dachshund) and have been able to spot even the littlest physical/emotional changes in them. On that note, I’d prefer to ONLY board dogs that are not high-energy or territorial, so as to help keep my small senior dogs safe. I love keeping owners updated with pictures/texts to make them feel like their fur babies are right there with them! Animals I've cared for: Dogs, cats, leopard geckos, hognose snakes, hedgehogs, and White's tree frogs. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I love starting the day by taking my dogs to the park that's 2 min away for a walk. If they seem bored, I’ll give them a car ride or take them to PetSmart to shop around :) I have a fenced in yard and two senior dogs to keep your fur baby company. I'll treat your dog as my own. I am a retired firefighter and at home most of the day with exception of errands, gym, shopping and other typical day activities. Your pet will get plenty of attention and playtime inside and out. My backyard is totally fenced in, so it's safe and secure. I make sure not to have any toxic plants in the house or in the yard. I have one dog, an 11 year old goldendoodle that loves other dogs, large and small. I've had a pet in my home most of my life.

“Jennifer is an absolute legend & we can’t say enough great things. This is coming from a VERY skeptical dog-watching-app-user. I’ve heard all the horror stories and have never had anyone outside of my family watch my dogs, so getting into Rover was a tough call for my husband and I. We had a long international trip planned a few months back & our friend fell through, so we were willing to give it a shot with rover. When we did the house visit with Jennifer, we felt so much better after seeing her beautiful family and home. We were still wary of the whole situation, obviously, but felt immediately reassured once we left and received all sorts of adorable updates via pictures, videos and messages with pup activities! She even let our little one (frenchie, who doesn’t leave Jennifer’s side) sleep in bed with her/her kids & she gives her all the love and extra attention she needs. She even took Chowder (frenchie) to pick up her kids from school one day, so fun! She knows our bigger dog (Obi) so well - she understands that he’s a chaotic ball of energy who doesn’t have boundaries and I trust her to keep him in line & keep him from chewing his sisters paws off lol. Jennifer’s whole family is hands on with the pups and it’s so reassuring and sweet to see people of all ages hanging out with our doggos. I swear it’s like vacation for the dogs too. I am 99% sure that the dogs think Jennifer is their other mom. She genuinely knows them so well, it is clear to us that she is an involved and attentive friend to the pups. We left our two dogs with her again for spring break and had the exact same experience, she is just truly the best. It has alleviated the stress of finding a family member to step in when we go on longer trips. Our dogs are our babies & we thought we’d never trust someone outside our family/friends, but here we are, all thanks to Jennifer (and her cute kids/family!) thank you Jennifer!!!!”
