Marquita watched my puppy for a whole day and took such amazing care of her! Such a sweet person with a nice family! She also sent me great pictures and updates while I was out. I was so grateful to have a caring person to leave my very energetic little pup with. Marquita was an excellent communicator and I highly recommend her as a pet sitter!

Christina was so great with my dog Molly. Molly is afraid of people and other dogs but Christina quickly had her relaxed and mingling with the other dogs. She sent me lots of pictures during her stay and I couldn’t believe it, she was happy and playing with the other dogs! Christina has a wonderful house and large lawn, and she is with the dogs all day. She keeps all the dogs relaxed and happy. It’s like a summer camp! Molly can’t wait to go back!

About: Hi! I’m Skye — a passionate and experienced pet caregiver with over 2 years of hands-on experience as a former kennel tech at Love My Dog Downtown. During my time there, I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs — making sure each one felt safe, loved, and at home. Now that I’m fully focused on my Rover pups, my schedule is more open and flexible to give your dog the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. I’m trained to notice behavior shifts, administer basic medications, and handle pups with patience and care. Making sure your furry friend is happy, healthy, and safe is always my top priority. I’d love to meet you and your pup soon! 🐾 Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine by surrounding/involving myself with dogs everyday, whether it’s going to work or walking my rover pups I care for anyones pup as if they were my own. Making sure your furry friend/friends are happy and safe is all that matters! 🐶

Voici une version corrigée : Kierra was absolutely amazing with Lucky! She took such great care of her and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Lucky was happy, comfortable, and well loved while he was with her. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would definitely book with Kierra again. Thank you so much!

Linda was able to accommodate us last minute and really saved our day! I have a yorkie who is normally attached to my hip and when we picked him up he showed absolutely no signs of anxiety. After he greeted us he walked away and kept playing in the house. He was clearly very well loved and well taken care of. I’ll definitely be reaching out again next time I’m in the area! Linda is gentle and trustworthy. I highly recommend her.

About: I’m an experienced pet sitter and lifelong animal lover who has cared for both dogs and cats for many friends, family members and neighbors over the years. I’m also a dog mom to two large breeds, a Golden Retriever and a Husky, so I’m very comfortable with big dogs, strong personalities and higher-energy breeds. I work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company, attention and potty breaks throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine and comfort level, and I’m happy to follow the schedule and care instructions that help them feel most at home. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets and animals who need medication or extra patience. One of my dogs has epilepsy, so I have experience giving daily medication, monitoring health needs and staying calm when a pet needs additional care. My three-bedroom home also gives me the flexibility to provide a separate, quiet space when needed, along with a white-noise machine to help pets settle in. Whether your pet wants walks, playtime, cuddles or space to decompress, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. I’m available throughout the day for regular potty breaks, meals, walks, playtime, medication and plenty of attention. My own dogs are already part of my daily schedule, so caring for an additional pet doesn’t feel like an interruption—it simply means one more animal to include in our routine. Because I’m home most of the day, pets won’t be left alone for long stretches. I can also adjust my schedule based on their normal routine, energy level and individual needs. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I take introductions slowly and supervise interactions with my own dogs to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I have a three-bedroom home, so visiting pets can have their own quiet space if they need time to decompress, eat separately or simply relax away from the other animals. I also have a white-noise machine to help nervous pets settle in. I carefully follow each pet’s normal routine, feeding instructions, medication schedule and any household rules provided by their owner. I keep doors secure, monitor pets during outdoor time and never force interaction between animals. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pet receives consistent, attentive care in the environment where they feel most comfortable. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is safe, comfortable and well cared for.

As someone knew to the city and state with a new puppy to boot along with another dog, I was nervous about last minute accommodations. I have found a second home for my Gertie! Coming from an apartment environment, she has a whole yard to run and play in and the hosts are exceptionally great and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone. If there are more stars, I would give them to them. I am looking no more for anyone else. Trust me you will be happy and so will your babies.

Sydney was great, very accommodating as I was always running late and she would always say no problem. What I loved about her was that she would wear my Jobu out and that’s what I wanted. Jobu is a westie and so full of energy and it’s tough at time to find someone that will truly GIVE it their all to make it happen!! Thanks so much Sydney, the feedback and pics were really cute!!!

She sent me a ton of photos to let me know how Nike was doing and when I picked him up he was so happy and tired out. Would recommend 100%

Rachel is just the 2nd pet sitter my 2 year old Chihuahua has had. Dante is very much a Momma's boy so I was very worried how he would do. I'm here for a 90 day TDY assignment and didn't want to leave him in Texas. The first day he was mad at me for leaving him with a stranger but by the 3rd day, he was adjusting and the 4th day he made a huge improvement. I'm thankful for Rachel's patience and the follow up. I plan to continue with Rachel 4 days a week thru June. I would definitely recommend her!

Jennah and her family were absolutely wonderful to Benny. He got to play with other dogs, go in the pool and be a part of their family. He was a very happy pup. I was updated with his progress, photos and video. Communication was great and I felt like he was really taken care of and enjoyed his stay. The house is like a puppy paradise. I couldn’t have asked for better. I highly recommend.

About: I have had pets my whole life (dogs, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs). Ever since my dog passed in 2017, my family and I have helped foster over 100 dogs with our local no-kill shelter. I actually just rescued a puppy myself from that same shelter! I am reliable, caring and a lover of animals. My fiancé and I are always available to take care of whichever love puppy you need cared for. We love animals. My fiancé and I work from home and are available anytime any day. We also can do overnights if needed! We can be available on weekends or weekdays! I live in a house with my boyfriend and rescue puppy (6 months old as of May 2026) with a fenced in yard. We both work from home so we can take the dog out at any time. We show so much love and affection for any animal that enters our house :)

About: As a dog mom for more than 10 years, I know that pets are family. I have also fostered dogs several times, which taught me how to care for animals with different personalities, backgrounds, and needs. Some pets adjust quickly, while others need extra patience, reassurance, and a gentle approach—and I’m comfortable with both. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, sticking to their routine, or simply providing companionship, I will treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own dog. I’m a full-time mom, so I have plenty of time to be fully present with your pups throughout the day. Our home has a very steady rhythm — quiet mornings, gentle play time, outdoor walks, and cozy evening wind-downs. Weekdays: I’m home almost the entire day, so your dog will have: • consistent companionship • multiple short walks • regular bathroom breaks • lots of calm time to relax No surprises. No last-minute changes. You will always know where your dog is and how they’re doing. I send photos + videos daily so you can enjoy your day with peace of mind. At my home, your dog will be in a calm, gentle, and family-like environment. We keep the day slow and predictable, which helps dogs feel safe and relaxed. Care in my home looks like: • One dog at a time — no chaos or overstimulation • No other pets — full attention and calm atmosphere • Private rest area — your dog can relax whenever needed • Clear boundaries — my 6-year-old knows to give dogs space • No forced interaction — we let your dog approach at their own pace • Consistent short walks and soft, patient companionship • Daily photo/video updates for your peace of mind. Your dog will not feel like a boarder here — they will be treated like family. Our focus is safety, comfort, and emotional ease. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your routine exactly, so your dog or cat feels secure and understood. • I keep feeding, walking, and rest times consistent with their normal schedule • I use the same words, cues, and contact style your dog is used to • I respect your home just as I respect your pet: clean, calm, safe, and intentional • I observe body language to understand what your pet needs (space, closeness, quiet, or play) • I send updates every visit, so you feel connected and worry-free My focus is always on creating a predictable, kind, and soothing experience for your pet — wherever they are.

Jennifer has been great since the first entail meet and great that she was so kind to setup for us. She not only sent a few photo updates , but let us know how things were going especially since this was the first time leaving our dog with her. As soon as we picked up Oscar you could see how happy he was. Glad we found Jennifer ! We are already booking with her again. Couldn’t recommend her more!

I have long work days and I was very nervous trusting my dog with someone else. From the moment my dog stepped into Eli’s home, I could tell she was comfortable and didn’t have any reservations about her. When I say we are going to her house, she runs to the door and whines until we leave. Eli sends pictures throughout the day of their activities and I can tell by how she comes home happy and sleepy that she is well taken care of. Her home is also very clean and has a fenced in yard. I feel grateful to have found a sitter that cares for my dog as if she were her own! I would absolutely recommend her for anybody that has reservations about finding a sitter through Rover.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Highpoint on Rover is $36.63 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 2,404 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Highpoint. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Highpoint commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,404 sitters in Highpoint, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
