“Lola had a great stay at Christina's house. This is what Lola had to say. "Christina took me for walks, gave me belly rubs, and truly made me feel very comfortable in her home. I had fun with the other dogs, chasing lizards, and keeping cool. Christina sent my dad some pictures of me during her visit and updated him on how things were going. Thank you very much, Christina. I look forward to spending the day with you again"”

About: I have a strong background caring for dogs and am very comfortable with a variety of sizes, breeds, and personalities. I work from my home so your dog will get plenty of attention. I’m active and love going outside for walks, but I’m also great at adjusting to each dog’s energy level—whether they’re playful or prefer a more laid-back routine. I also have a small Maltipoo at home who is very friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs, which can be great for social pups. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and make it a priority to follow your dog’s routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your dog is doing. I currently work remote so am home most of the day. I like to walk my dog every 2-4 hours. I’m pretty active so am willing to either run or walk with your dog. I do not have a fenced yard so all walks or runs will be done on leash. Dogs will be treated as part of the family and allowed on furniture in the house.

“Beverly did a wonderful job taking care of my foster greyhound, Mongoose. He always left her home happy and tired, and I know he enjoyed roaming around her fenced yard! She was very kind in accommodating his separation anxiety and I would absolutely hire her again to care for my pets.”

“Teri did a wonderful job looking after Jellybean and sending me updates throughout the day. She was well prepared and asked all the right questions. I had no doubt he would be in good hands, I highly recommend her services!”

“Fabulous week for Juno our Alaskan Husky mix! She was so settled and happy with Denise and her Border Collie Frankie! Such peace of mind knowing Juno was in good hands and happy. Denise is a wonderful person. She understands dogs and she totally gets dog owners worries too. Would not hesitate to use her again!”

“Sydney was great, very accommodating as I was always running late and she would always say no problem. What I loved about her was that she would wear my Jobu out and that’s what I wanted. Jobu is a westie and so full of energy and it’s tough at time to find someone that will truly GIVE it their all to make it happen!! Thanks so much Sydney, the feedback and pics were really cute!!!”

“I recently left my puppy with Nikki for daycare for the first time. I was a little concerned because he can be a bit skittish and he was definitely nervous during our meet and greet. I’m so happy to say he relaxed had an amazing time during his stay. Nikki kept me updated and informed, making me feel very comfortable. She sent lots of pictures even during his short stay, and I could see he quickly eased into things and was all smiles in no time. We’re looking forward to future visits. Thanks Nikki!”

“AJ has been wonderful with our dog Josie! He has been so patient and kind with her and let her go at her own pace. She has had several visits and is getting more comfortable each time. AJ, Trish, and Goose are tremendous hosts. AJ is the bomb! I strongly recommend him and his family for doggie daycare.”

“Mark was very cooperative with our late booking and also took the time to make changes to the booking as well. He kept us updated on our Cookie and kept her comfortable as she explores or lounge around. Very much recommended and will book with Mark again if needed.”

“Kiley was very kind and communicative. She gave clear instructions on how to get to her and provided updates through out the day with pictures. Teddy was so happy with Kiley. He also really seemed to love her sweet puppy Skylar. I will absolutely book again for long days.”

Bailey was absolutely wonderful with my French bulldog, Princeton! From the moment I dropped him off for doggie day care, I could tell he was in great hands. Bailey’s golden retriever, Beau, was the perfect playmate -- full of energy and super friendly! Princeton had the best time keeping up with Beau, and I could tell he came home happy and tired! I also really appreciated that Bailey’s home offered such a well-rounded environment. Princeton received his first exposure being around a cat and young children, which was an awesome learning opportunity for my pup. Bailey and her husband clearly know how to make dogs feel comfortable, loved, and engaged. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Ridgecrest commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
