I have a strong background caring for dogs and am very comfortable with a variety of sizes, breeds, and personalities. I work from my home so your dog will get plenty of attention. I’m active and love going outside for walks, but I’m also great at adjusting to each dog’s energy level—whether they’re playful or prefer a more laid-back routine. I also have a small Maltipoo at home who is very friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs, which can be great for social pups. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and make it a priority to follow your dog’s routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your dog is doing.

Leaving Benji with Alyssa was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made. She’s incredibly kind, communicative, and genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. Alyssa cared for our previous dog, Buddy, on several occasions, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Buddy was not naturally friendly with people, but he warmed up to Alyssa surprisingly quickly—something that speaks volumes about her calm, patient nature. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. When we returned home, Buddy was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for—never stressed, which meant everything to us. We have since moved and now have another dog, Molly, and our trust in Alyssa hasn’t changed. In fact, we’re willing to drive 3½ hours across the state just so she can care for Molly while we’re away. That level of trust says it all. Knowing Alyssa is with our dog allows us to truly relax and enjoy our time away, confident that our pet is in the very best hands.

Schedule
I currently work remote so am home most of the day. I like to walk my dog every 2-4 hours. I’m pretty active so am willing to either run or walk with your dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a fenced yard so all walks or runs will be done on leash. Dogs will be treated as part of the family and allowed on furniture in the house.
