My poor dog was sick the day Brit came to walk him. She handled the mess like a professional and still got him out in the neighborhood to do his business. I definitely appreciate the lengths she went to caring for him and would feel confident about booking her for a longer stay.

Good experience with a focused meet and greet that gave me confidence in her ability to handle 2 medium sized energetic dogs. Good experience with the dog walk, no problems, received an update, house was as I left it upon my return. Will schedule worth her again.

About: I’ve always had pets throughout my childhood and as of recently I’ve took on the responsibility of being a foster mom to an American bully named Kobe. His mom is overseas for the next couple of years and was unable to take her pup. So me and my family are watching him until his mama comes back. I have a big heart and pups love me. My schedule is very flexible Monday - Sunday until late June. Starting in July, my availability will be before 8am and after 5pm (Monday - Friday) & anytime on Saturday/Sunday. I do not mind last minute bookings 🙂 At a client’s residence, I will respect you and your property & make sure that your pets are happy and well taken care of. Please make sure to leave notes if there is something you need me to take care of.

Amanda has been walking my rambunctious little ShiChiPoo, Max, for the past five months, and I couldn’t be happier. She’s kind, reliable, and incredibly patient—even when Max is full of energy! He gets so excited to see her, and her updates after each walk are thoughtful and reassuring. It’s such a relief knowing Max is in such caring, capable hands. Highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a truly wonderful dog walker!

Jen went out of her way with my dogs to make sure they were comfortable with her before I went out of town. I have all rescues and one was very abused prior to adopting him. He is very shy and fearful of new people. Jen agreed to come a handful of times with me home and without me home for him to build a trusting relationship. It worked out so well. I would use her without hesitation any time I need a dogsitter if she is available! Thank you so much!

About: 2 years of Rover experience! I just moved here from NH and looking for new clients! (Please note my 1 bad review was because I canceled last minute because my mother had a heart attack) - I was hired to work every month at my clients house for a year and absolutely loved it, where I even cooked for the dogs, administered medicine, and tracked their diet. There truly is not a rover sitter as passionate as myself! - As a young, energetic, and experienced pet sitter, I bring a selfless, athletic, and truly empathetic approach to caring for your pets. - I do everything from walks, feeding, cooking, eye drops and cleaning, medicine administration, playtime, and so much more. I truly make sure your animals are selflessly well cared for like my own. - I spent 2025 working almost every month with a client caring for their elderly dogs and cats in NH from 7 am to 11pm at night on a schedule created for them which I absolutely loved. -This included cooking for the dogs, poop pickup, medicine administration, plant watering, feeding, and light cleaning. - in addition to my 2 years working on rover with all types of animals, I’ve worked with athletic puppy breeds, cared for playful kittens, and owned a poodle for 10 years, giving me firsthand experience with a range of personalities and needs. My boyfriend has a 180lb mastiff and fish that I also co parent in my free time. - My background in house sitting and babysitting has instilled a strong sense of responsibility, but my true passion is caring for animals! I’m dedicated to keeping pets happy, active, and well-loved, ensuring they feel right at home while you’re away. I truly am 100% present, and make sure your pet is entertained, healthy, and happy. - If you have animals over 100 lbs please message me and I’ll refer you to Jackson Bartlett who is phenomenal with larger breeds and great with training as well! Mostly open with flexible schedule - I am self employed l at my own Airbnb in Peterborough while studying for my real estate license for a couple hours a week so my schedule is open and flexible any day of the week! I offer a safe and engaging environment, with a decently secluded backyard that’s perfect for a fun game of fetch. Although we don't have a fence yet, the backyard is on a lower level than the street, and we will use extended leashes if need be. We also have a large deck where dogs can relax and watch birds on the river and enjoy the surrounding wildlife. Whether in your home or mine, I ensure that pets are given plenty of attention, exercise, and love. My goal is to make them feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for at all times.

Danielle is AMAZING! My husband and I are taking a cruise next month and decided to try Rover. I found Danielle and saw she had multiple repeat clients and some pretty great reviews. We set a Meet and Greet, so she could meet our pup and discuss the services. She was super prompt, answered all our questions, and was great with Bosco. We ended up scheduling some walks so our pup would be more comfortable...by the second walk, Bos was super excited to see her. Danielle is very sweet, knowledgeable, caring and so far is the perfect fit for our needs. If you are looking for someone to treat your pet as his/her own, Danielle is it!

About: 🐾 Wagging Tails, Happy Hearts, Peace of Mind While You're Apart 🐾 I have a genuine connection with animals and a love for them that is difficult to put into words. From as far back as I can remember, I've been drawn to nature and animals of all kinds—big and small. Caring for animals isn't just something I do; it's a lifelong passion that has always been a part of who I am. Throughout my life, I've rescued and cared for countless animals and have a natural ability to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pet care goes beyond meeting basic physical needs. My goal is to provide companionship, enrichment, comfort, and an overall sense of well-being so your pets feel happy, secure, and cared for while you're away. Whether your furry family members are staying with me or I'm caring for them in the comfort of your home, they will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your beloved companions. Every pet has their own unique personality, routines, quirks, and preferences, and I take the time to learn and respect those details. Maintaining their familiar routines helps keep them comfortable, stress-free, and happy while you're away, giving you peace of mind knowing they're in caring and capable hands. **Specialized Care & Experience** I have experience caring for pets with a wide variety of unique needs and personalities. Whether your pet is shy, reactive, unsocialized, elderly, very young, disabled, recovering from illness or injury, or simply has their own special routines and quirks, I provide patient, individualized care tailored to their comfort and well-being. My experience includes: • Senior (geriatric) pet care • Puppy and kitten (pediatric) care • Special-needs and disabled pets • Reactive, fearful, or unsocialized animals • Medication administration (oral, topical, and other routine medications) • Post-surgical and recovery support • Mobility assistance and accommodations • Maintaining specialized feeding, exercise, and behavioral routines I understand that every pet is unique. I take the time to learn their preferences, triggers, habits, and routines so they feel safe, secure, and understood while you're away. ❤️ Pet care is my primary focus this summer, giving me the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of schedules and care needs. I understand how important consistency and routine are, so I work to ensure their care fits seamlessly into their normal day. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, multiple daily visits, medication, specialized attention, or full day/overnight sitting, I have the availability to provide dependable, personalized care and plenty of attention while you're away. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment that feels as close to your pet's normal routine as possible. In my home, pets have access to a securely fenced backyard with plenty of shade for supervised outdoor time. I share my home with one senior dog and three cats who are accustomed to other animals. Depending on your preferences and your pet's personality, they can socialize with my pets or be kept completely separate. I understand that not every animal enjoys company, and I'm happy to accommodate whatever makes them most comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and any special instructions to help maintain consistency and reduce stress while you're away. I also respect your home, belongings, privacy, and household routines, ensuring both you and your pets feel comfortable and secure. My goal is always to provide attentive, personalized care so your pets feel safe, happy, and loved whether they're staying with me or remaining in the comfort of their own home.

About: I have been around animals since I was 5. I have had my own pup for 14 years. I've been trusted by family and friends and referred to their friends to watch and take care of their pets. I enjoy cat sitting and making sure your cat is happy, comfortable, feels loved and while you are out of town. I am a stay at home mom so currently my availability is very open and flexible to taking care of your pet. I do bring my son occasionally, so must be kid friendly. My son loves animals and will be delighted to meet them! When I come over to your home I will always greet them and give them loving by rubbing their heads, chin, and back. I feed them right away and for the cats I take care of the litter box while they are eating. I always like to leave the areas clean by vacuuming or sweeping up the areas.

About: I've had cats my whole life and love animals of any kind. I used to dog sit for a variety of dogs including french bulldogs, dachshunds, mixed breeds and retrievers. I am stay at home right now so I have lots of time to walk, play and care for your pets! I love animals and would enjoy spending time with them! I have a cat at home who gets at least 2 hours of active play per day (chase and sometimes fetch if she feels like it). She gets brushed once a week since her fur is short and is up to date on all of her shots and vet visits. It's important to me that pets get the love and care they deserve :)

This is our second time having Minda as our Rover sitter for our Frenchie Oscar. We were in a pinch with last minute travel and she was able to accommodate. She is again very reliable, responsible and trustworthy and looks after our home as well. We were happy to hear and get pics of a new means of play she brought (ball with stick) to play fetch with Oscar which he loved. It's nice to feel relaxed when you are away and would book Minda again for the next time we plan to travel.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Ridgecrest. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ridgecrest. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
