“Connected with my dog right away. Caitlin clearly loves animals and enjoys what she does. Caitlin took care of everything and sent photos via Rover. My dog, Max, was well taken care of. I feel super confident in asking Caitlin to take care of Max in the future. Responsive, on time, and respectful of property. Highly recommended!”

“Kierra Was so kind to the dogs, very attentive and followed every direction we gave her to the fullest extent. Highly recommend, was able to help us out super last minute. We could’ve have asked for a better dog sitter.”

“Isaac is great! He is very professional and great with my energetic dog who’s tough on a leash. I was nervous about having someone else walk him, but Isaac handles him with ease. Highly recommend!”

About: We've had a dog in our home for most of my life. And so has many of our family and friends. So holidays and get togethers are always fun with all the fur babies running around. I had a 100 pound German Shepard so big dogs are no problem. He's made us very familiar with the vet office. From regular allergy meds to cut open paw pads that need daily cleaning and treatment, he's given us years of pet experience. I've owned dogs who live for long walks and dogs who prefer playing fetch in the yard instead. The cuddly ones to the stand off ish ones. Senior dogs who need assistance walking and extra health care too. I love all dogs and will pet any one I see... with permission of course! Love me some cats too! Currently have 3 cats, so the litter box is a familiar place for me. I'm also a master at cat play time! I work from home full time so I'm always able to give my pet or yours the attention they need when they need it. I'm available for afternoon drop ins to full days of sitting. I understand the peace of mind knowing someone is taking good care of my pet when I can't be home for them. I want to offer as little disruption to your pets routine as possible. Whatever your guidelines are for your pets needs I will strive to meet and exceed them so your pet stays happy and healthy!
“Kelli has been an absolute Godsend to me and my pups life! Her communication is 10/10! As an owner of an older pup, my dog has been through some changes with her body. Kelli has been more than a helping hand when it comes to helping her stand up, making sure she goes potty safely, giving medication or cleaning a wound! She is extremely friendly, easy to reach out to and I know my pup absolutely loves spending time with her. I am so lucky to have found someone who truly cares about my pups wellbeing and is flexible!! Thank you for everything you have done for us, we appreciate you!”

“Melissa is great! She’s reliable, highly communicative, and always sends updates. Mickey was very happy, and I completely trust her. I highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for an amazing dog walker!”

About: I grew up on a farm. We had lots of cats and dogs and other animals. I’ve always had a strong love for cats and dogs. I currently have one tuxedo cat and she loves to play with other kitty cats. I’ve cared for many sick animals given shots and medication multiple times a day when needed and can be in contact with pet owners throughout the day when needed. I am a professional stock photographer and work out of my home so I have lots of time to dedicate to loving your pet. I work from my Home Office studio as a professional stock photographer, and Marketing Consultant . I can be available for pet care at all days and all times. I have a fenced in backyard if needed. If I’m caring for your pet in my home, I do have a fenced in backyard if that is a requirement

About: Hi, I’m Ocean! I’m a Veterinary Technician with over 13 years of hands on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals. Working in veterinary medicine has given me the knowledge and confidence to care for pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, a senior who needs extra patience, or requires medications or special care, you can feel confident knowing they’re in experienced hands. My top priorities are always your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. I understand that every pet is unique, so I take the time to learn their routine, provide plenty of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own because I know they’re family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine because I already work full-time as a veterinary technician. I’m used to structuring my days around animal care, including feeding schedules, medication times, monitoring behavior, and making sure each pet gets the attention they need. On a typical day, I’m already in a rhythm of caring for multiple animals, so adding pet sitting or drop-ins fits in smoothly before or after work, as well as on my days off. I’m very organized and plan ahead to make sure each pet in my care gets consistent, reliable attention. I’m a calm, reliable, and detail oriented person who understands that every pet has their own personality and needs. Whether your pet needs extra patience, a specific routine, medication, or just some loving attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet feels right at home.

About: I've been caring for animals all my life. Dogs, hamsters and birds were part of my household growing up. My purpose and passion is to care for animals in whatever capacity I can. From dogs and cats to birds, ferrets and reptiles. I have worked in the veterinary field for 30 + years. One of those hospitals was an avian and exotic hospital. I am a certified veterinary assistant although generally preferred the front desk aspect. I have chosen to leave that field and focus on pets in their home. I love pet sitting. I've been doing it on the side for close to 30years. I particularly love senior pets and cats. I love the close relationships I develop with the animals in my care. I will love and care for you pet as I do my own. This is my full time employment. I am available to drop in to your home as much as 2-3 times a day as needed. I do not board in my home and will occasionally be available for overnight stays. I will come to your home and follow your instructions to the letter. I will keep the space clean and tidy and care for a few plants as well. Your pet will receive lots of loving attention from me. Lots of snuggles if they so choose or playtime or just general company. I respect all pets boundaries.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Clearwater Beach
Michael was honestly amazing, I contacted him a little bit last minute due to a work trip but he happily accepted and made time to come see the dogs beforehand and they loved him from the start. They aren’t small dogs, and he had zero problem handling either one and dealing with the them. He was so awesome with updates and photos throughout the whole week it helped me feel so relaxed and at ease. The pups looked incredibly happy in every photo and in every walk and gave them everything they needed from a food and supplement stand point which was really awesome. I really appreciated everything Michael did for us he was a rock star!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
