About: I have always loved cats and dogs. They are kind and share unconditional love with us humans. I have been responsible for cats and dogs in my own home since I was 7 years old. Friends have left me with their pets and their children for weekends at a time. You can trust that your pets will be well taken care of while they are in my care. I tend bar in the early evenings 4 nights a week. My bartending shifts range from 4-6 hours. Mornings and early afternoons work great for stop ins and walks. About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family since I was a teenager. I also have three dogs of my own and grew up with dogs my whole life, so I know dogs well. Also please note that puppies are an addition fee of $20 that will get adjusted after we communicate. I am a semi retired certified dog trainer and have been training and boarding for 20 yrs. I worked closely with rescues and animal shelters and was training director for a shelter in southern California. I require a mandatory meet and greet before accepting new dogs, but there could be an odd exception. I generally only have one dog at a time, although may take two dogs maximum, if I think they are a compatible match. I am rarely gone for more than two hours at a time. All adult dogs must be spayed/ neutered. Puppies under 9 months should be crate trained and would need the crate brought with them. My border/husky mix is a playful boy but is also respectful of older dogs who dont want to play. I have a pool they can swim in. Your dog will always be supervised when outside. I am happy to work on training while boarding if you wish. Thanks, and I look forward to meeting your kids! NOTE: I no longer take in Bully breeds or mixes of the breed due to homeowner restrictions.
