About: Hello, my name is Karaleen, Kara is fine. I’m 33, Navy veteran and just working on my degrees. This gives me quite a bit of down time. So I would love to help out with your pets! I have had pets all of my life, my family actually bred Corgis at one point, and have two girls of my own. so I would love to be able to give some head scratches and belly rubs to your furry members of your family whenever you may need it. Whether it be a walk, or some play time, or just keeping them company at the house. I have reliable transportation so no worries there. Hopefully I can help you out with whatever your pet needs are. Thank you! Hope to hear from you soon. -Kara I am a full time student so I have a lot of time on my hands with a flexible schedule. Open to different times throughout the days and weeks I take bookings for either walks or in home visits with some play time. I have enough time to give them anywhere from something quick to longer visits

About: While earning a B.S. in Animal Health and Behavior from Unity Environmental University, I had the opportunities to work in a variety of animal care positions. I have experience working as a kennel attendant (dogs, cats, and exotics), dog bather, animal shelter technician, animal nutrition intern at Zoo Tampa, and pet sitter for dogs and cats (2 years). I have volunteered in veterinary clinics, animal shelters and aviary hospitals. I have a genuine passion to care for animals, treating each animal as if they are my own. I am available to pet sit in home for any period of time but will be at work from 10am - pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Pet Sitting - 7 days a week Dog Walking - 7 days a week Limited Hours/ Days - Monday, Thursday, Friday 10am - 4pm Pet Sitting: I find it of utmost importance to stick to an animal's routine as closely as possible while their owners are away. Leaving your pets while you go out of town can be stressful, I aim to alleviate any concerns by maintaining proper communication, and by caring for your animal as if they were my own girl, Sadie. Each animal is different in so many ways, I aim to touch base with clients regarding medication, allergies, likes and dislikes, weekday/weekend routine and more. I am a simple person, either reading a book, studying, or going on a walk. I am trained in dog walking techniques and feel comfortable walking reactive dogs, as my dog is reactive herself.

“Martha and Brett are so amazing and caring to our dogs. Our dogs look forward to their walks with Martha and Brett each week. About: I have been dog sitting for family and family friends since I was 13 years old. My family has always had dogs from labradoodles to pitbulls. I first started with Rover when I lived in California and had the best time helping my customers. I recently moved to Dunedin and plan to do the same. I’m a very active person and love to be outside and LOVE dogs so adding dog walking to my day is a match made in heaven. My home is .5 miles from Amberlea park and .4 miles from Achieva Paw Park. My days firstly always revolve around our Nala so babysitting pups in my free time from work just works. They bring so much joy to me and my dog Nala. Safety and peace of mind is always top priority for any dog owner. My husband and I have a large fenced in backyard for our dog. A spare bedroom for any dog that needs their own space and if necessary room for a kennel.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Dunedin is $20

Angel gets so excited when Kristen arrives, which says it all! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.

Brittney is absolutely amazing! She takes such great care of our dog, Tycho, and he adores her. She’s reliable, communicative, and always goes above and beyond — from thoughtful updates to extra attention on walks. It’s such a relief knowing Tycho is in such good hands. We couldn’t recommend her more!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
