About: I grew up on a farm. We had lots of cats and dogs and other animals. I’ve always had a strong love for cats and dogs. I currently have one tuxedo cat and she loves to play with other kitty cats. I’ve cared for many sick animals given shots and medication multiple times a day when needed and can be in contact with pet owners throughout the day when needed. I am a professional stock photographer and work out of my home so I have lots of time to dedicate to loving your pet. I work from my Home Office studio as a professional stock photographer, and Marketing Consultant . I can be available for pet care at all days and all times. I have a fenced in backyard if needed. If I’m caring for your pet in my home, I do have a fenced in backyard if that is a requirement
About: Hi, I’m Ocean! I’m a Veterinary Technician with over 13 years of hands on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals. Working in veterinary medicine has given me the knowledge and confidence to care for pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, a senior who needs extra patience, or requires medications or special care, you can feel confident knowing they’re in experienced hands. My top priorities are always your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. I understand that every pet is unique, so I take the time to learn their routine, provide plenty of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own because I know they’re family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care is a part of my daily and weekly routine because I already work full-time as a veterinary technician. I’m used to structuring my days around animal care, including feeding schedules, medication times, monitoring behavior, and making sure each pet gets the attention they need. On a typical day, I’m already in a rhythm of caring for multiple animals, so adding pet sitting or drop-ins fits in smoothly before or after work, as well as on my days off. I’m very organized and plan ahead to make sure each pet in my care gets consistent, reliable attention. I’m a calm, reliable, and detail oriented person who understands that every pet has their own personality and needs. Whether your pet needs extra patience, a specific routine, medication, or just some loving attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet feels right at home.

About: I’ve grown up with pets and currently have a 5 year old poodle! He’s the best boy, but I’m sure your pet is great too! I make my own schedule as a piano tuner, so I have the ability to work around your schedule helping your pet whenever you need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible to help their pets feel comfortable and secure. I’ll make sure they have fresh water, meals on schedule, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention based on their individual needs. For walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses, stay alert to our surroundings, and avoid unsafe situations to keep your pet safe. I also respect your home by keeping it clean, locking doors and gates, and treating your property with care. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

“Connected with my dog right away. Caitlin clearly loves animals and enjoys what she does. Caitlin took care of everything and sent photos via Rover. My dog, Max, was well taken care of. I feel super confident in asking Caitlin to take care of Max in the future. Responsive, on time, and respectful of property. Highly recommended!”

“Kelli has been an absolute Godsend to me and my pups life! Her communication is 10/10! As an owner of an older pup, my dog has been through some changes with her body. Kelli has been more than a helping hand when it comes to helping her stand up, making sure she goes potty safely, giving medication or cleaning a wound! She is extremely friendly, easy to reach out to and I know my pup absolutely loves spending time with her. I am so lucky to have found someone who truly cares about my pups wellbeing and is flexible!! Thank you for everything you have done for us, we appreciate you!”

“Kristen is absolutely amazing! She takes such great care of my Labrador, Angel, and I always know she’s in loving, capable hands. She’s reliable, caring, and goes above and beyond every time. Angel gets so excited when Kristen arrives, which says it all! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.”

“Michael was honestly amazing, I contacted him a little bit last minute due to a work trip but he happily accepted and made time to come see the dogs beforehand and they loved him from the start. They aren’t small dogs, and he had zero problem handling either one and dealing with the them. He was so awesome with updates and photos throughout the whole week it helped me feel so relaxed and at ease. The pups looked incredibly happy in every photo and in every walk and gave them everything they needed from a food and supplement stand point which was really awesome. I really appreciated everything Michael did for us he was a rock star!”

About: I have a genuine love for dogs and enjoy spending time caring for them. I am responsible, patient, and attentive to each dog's individual needs, whether that means going on walks, playing, sticking to feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I understand the importance of keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. One area I am not comfortable with is food aggression. I’d kindly have to decline if your pet struggles with this! Although I do not have a yard of my own, my property has a small dog park available to me! I am free throughout the whole week except Sunday's. If Sunday is needed, I will do my best to accommodate!! I’m also available all hours of the day. I care for pets by walking, feeding, playing, and loving on them the most! I am capable of sticking to a schedule if they have one.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of both a cat and a dog, so I know firsthand how much love (and attention!) pets need. I genuinely love walking, so, why not bring a furry friend along for the fun? I treat every animal like they’re part of the family and pride myself on being reliable, calm, and communicative! I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day for pet care. I’m also very respectful of your home and your pet’s space. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep things clean and secure, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: I grew up with a mom who could never say no to a stray, so it was a pretty busy home. i’ve had countless animals from small dogs to large dogs and many cats. i’ve learned how to understand, train, and take care of all of my own animals and the animals of the people I love. fur babies are the source of my passion, and hopefully I can gain some experience for veterinary school! i’m currently a cat owner looking for an easy-going part-time job so I have plenty of time on my hands to hang out with your fur babies. I’m currently available from 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. weekends, I am available from 12 PM to 8 PM. I currently own two very large cats, they are very simple creatures when it comes to care, but understanding them is a definitely a challenge. I’ve done a lot of research on animal body language, and it has helped guide me to be the best cat owner that I can be. Before moving out, I had two large Pitbulls and a very large backyard for the two of them. I build trust with animals with positive reassurance and gaging their body language and how to deal with it.

Allowed me the opportunity to walk, feed, bathe, and look after them. I hope you can do the same! I'm a college student who has a lot of free time. I love being physical and doing outdoorsy things so hopefully your pets can take advantage of that :) I'm a college student that takes classes mainly online so I have more free time than the average person. Usually I am available all day Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Then Tuesday I have classes from 5:30-9pm! I can easily crate your pets if needed! Alexandria was awesome with our corgi Boudica. Our dog is a little over weight and out of shape...her walks normally consist of a lot of standing around. Alexandria showed Boo what a real walk looks like. If we need walks in the future, we will be calling Alexandria.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
