“Amanda has been walking my rambunctious little ShiChiPoo, Max, for the past five months, and I couldn’t be happier. She’s kind, reliable, and incredibly patient—even when Max is full of energy! He gets so excited to see her, and her updates after each walk are thoughtful and reassuring. It’s such a relief knowing Max is in such caring, capable hands. Highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a truly wonderful dog walker!”

About: I’ve cared for my own four dogs every day, including a Husky and three Chihuahuas, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I understand the importance of regular walks, feeding schedules, fresh water, playtime, and giving each dog the attention they need. I’m patient, dependable, and will always treat your pet like one of my own. While I’m new to professional dog walking, I’m eager to provide safe, reliable, and caring service for every dog I meet. As a college soccer student-athlete, I have a flexible schedule during the summer and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your dog. I currently don’t have another job, and I only train with my soccer team on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with games usually on weekends. I’m dependable, communicate well, and will make sure your dog gets a safe, enjoyable walk and the attention they deserve. I currently provide dog walking services only, so my focus is giving your dog a safe, fun, and reliable walk. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding leash use, walking routes, pace, and any special needs your dog may have. Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I’ll treat them with the same care and patience I give my own four dogs at home.
About: I've worked with animals of all shapes, sizes, and behaviors. Although, I am most familiar with dogs, cats, rodents (all), horses, goats donkeys, pigs, chickens, and ducks. I am working part-time on a flexible schedule, so I will be able to make visits occur at nearly anytime of day—I'm happy to discuss best times to visit as need-be. I have two separate spaces for each animal if necessary. I also live in a suburban area where there aren't many cars, and there is plenty of space to walk dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages, not to mention I have experience with reptiles, amphibians, and fish. I’m available at most hours of the day to provide regular walking, feeding, or even playing with your pets. I’m currently enrolled part time in community college, so I’ll have a lot time available to take care of any pets. Any time from 7:00 AM to 10:00PM will work for me. In areas close to me, I can easily check in at least twice a day. I’m also open to staying overnight if there’s a pet that can’t be left alone for long periods.
About: I have a strong background caring for dogs and am very comfortable with a variety of sizes, breeds, and personalities. I work from my home so your dog will get plenty of attention. I’m active and love going outside for walks, but I’m also great at adjusting to each dog’s energy level—whether they’re playful or prefer a more laid-back routine. I also have a small Maltipoo at home who is very friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs, which can be great for social pups. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and make it a priority to follow your dog’s routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your dog is doing. I currently work remote so am home most of the day. I like to walk my dog every 2-4 hours. I’m pretty active so am willing to either run or walk with your dog. I do not have a fenced yard so all walks or runs will be done on leash. Dogs will be treated as part of the family and allowed on furniture in the house.

I offer dependable drop-in visits and walks, follow routines closely, and treat every pet like my own! Pet care is a regular part of my day. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and quality care. I make sure each pet gets attention and not just a quick check-in. I care for pets as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely to maintain your pet’s normal routine, including meals, potty breaks, exercise, medications if needed, and lots of attention. Safety, comfort, and consistency are always my top priorities.
“Shannon was excellent and went above and beyond. She was accommodating for the meet and greet. Shya is anxious and nervous around new people but Shannon was patient during the meet and greet. Shya had no problems with Shannon and looked very relaxed in the pictures. Shannon was an excellent communicator, reliable, trustworthy and we would definitely book with her again.”

“Jen went out of her way with my dogs to make sure they were comfortable with her before I went out of town. I have all rescues and one was very abused prior to adopting him. He is very shy and fearful of new people. Jen agreed to come a handful of times with me home and without me home for him to build a trusting relationship. It worked out so well. I would use her without hesitation any time I need a dogsitter if she is available! Thank you so much!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Seminole
This is our second time having Minda as our Rover sitter for our Frenchie Oscar. We were in a pinch with last minute travel and she was able to accommodate. She is again very reliable, responsible and trustworthy and looks after our home as well. We were happy to hear and get pics of a new means of play she brought (ball with stick) to play fetch with Oscar which he loved. It's nice to feel relaxed when you are away and would book Minda again for the next time we plan to travel.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
