About: I've been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels, including puppies who need extra patience and attention as well as senior dogs who require a gentler approach. I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, walks, playtime, and providing plenty of companionship. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet as if they were my own. I prioritize communication with pet parents by providing regular updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both you and your pet and make sure they receive the same love and attention they're used to at home. I am currently working part-time but looking for a way to help out some people in the area with their furry friends! Available almost everyday. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In clients’ homes, I follow all care instructions closely, maintain a clean environment, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
“I had so much fun with Alexandria! He is an energetic one and she makes sure that he gets to exercise that out when he’s with her. Whether it’s time in the dog park, laps around the complex, or even just playing inside the house. He definitely recommend her and will keep her in mind for the future.”

About: I've worked with animals of all shapes, sizes, and behaviors. Although, I am most familiar with dogs, cats, rodents (all), horses, goats donkeys, pigs, chickens, and ducks. I am working part-time on a flexible schedule, so I will be able to make visits occur at nearly anytime of day—I'm happy to discuss best times to visit as need-be. I have two separate spaces for each animal if necessary. I also live in a suburban area where there aren't many cars, and there is plenty of space to walk dogs.
“Shannon was excellent and went above and beyond. She was accommodating for the meet and greet. Shya is anxious and nervous around new people but Shannon was patient during the meet and greet. Shya had no problems with Shannon and looked very relaxed in the pictures. Shannon was an excellent communicator, reliable, trustworthy and we would definitely book with her again.”

“Sophia has been walking our dogs for a few months now. -she is extremely reliable and consistent -she is attentive and always makes sure the dogs are set up for success after her visit -she takes the best pictures of your pets -the animals will all love her I couldn’t imagine having anyone else walk my dogs, if you have the chance to go with Sophia, take it!”

About: A safe, clean, and nurturing environment— that will quickly become your pet's home away from home. We’ll care for them just as you do. ❤️ I work from home, and Brian is the full-time caregiver. We have a large fenced yard and two 3-year-old beagles, as well as a 1-year-old cat who enjoy meeting new friends. Our home is pet-friendly and welcoming. A clean home that welcomes pets, featuring a spacious fenced yard and two friendly beagles who enjoy playing. We also take pleasure in walks when the weather is suitable.
“Gail is wonderful with my girls. I have two small dogs that love her. She is always professional and on time. She has always walked the girl with short notice. My work schedule changes and I appreciate her flexibility.”

“Amanda has been walking my rambunctious little ShiChiPoo, Max, for the past five months, and I couldn’t be happier. She’s kind, reliable, and incredibly patient—even when Max is full of energy! He gets so excited to see her, and her updates after each walk are thoughtful and reassuring. It’s such a relief knowing Max is in such caring, capable hands. Highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a truly wonderful dog walker!”

About: I have a strong background caring for dogs and am very comfortable with a variety of sizes, breeds, and personalities. I work from my home so your dog will get plenty of attention. I’m active and love going outside for walks, but I’m also great at adjusting to each dog’s energy level—whether they’re playful or prefer a more laid-back routine. I also have a small Maltipoo at home who is very friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs, which can be great for social pups. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and make it a priority to follow your dog’s routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your dog is doing. I currently work remote so am home most of the day. I like to walk my dog every 2-4 hours. I’m pretty active so am willing to either run or walk with your dog. I do not have a fenced yard so all walks or runs will be done on leash. Dogs will be treated as part of the family and allowed on furniture in the house.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born and have always had such deep care for them especially dogs, i’ve also had cats in the past as well which I love! I currently have six dogs at my house as I still live with my parents as I am a freshman in college, one of the dogs is my own her name is callie she is a cavapoo! For me animals need as much if not more attention as humans do and I assure you I can provide that if it’s taking them on walks, petting them, scratches behind the ear and so much more! I’ve also watched family and friends dogs while they have been away on vacation and it’s something i love doing!! Consider choosing me! Let me know if you have any questions I work 30 hours a week thursday-saturdays but am free to house sit from sundays-wednesdays or take them on walks those day any time on the days that I am free works for me! if you have a backyard I will take them out there frequently and play with them but I will also take them on walks throughout the days as i’ve come to realize you can let your dogs out in the backyard so much but there’s nothing more that they love than going on a walk!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages, not to mention I have experience with reptiles, amphibians, and fish. I’m available at most hours of the day to provide regular walking, feeding, or even playing with your pets. I’m currently enrolled part time in community college, so I’ll have a lot time available to take care of any pets. Any time from 7:00 AM to 10:00PM will work for me. In areas close to me, I can easily check in at least twice a day. I’m also open to staying overnight if there’s a pet that can’t be left alone for long periods.

About: I've had many animals, all my life. I've had Sunny (42) my late Grandma's parrot for the last 12 years. I volunteered for a non-profit horse rescue for 3 years. I've always been an animal lover. Some people view them as pets, I see them as family. Just like us, they all have their own personalities, which is why each one is unique. I'm currently working independently part time, so I have open availability as far as my schedule goes. Let's see where I can get y'all in. What your guidelines, schedules, or rules are in your home, is what I go by. I am reliable, trustworthy, and have dependable transportation. Your baby, is my baby.
“Luke and Amanda were great. They did more than we could have asked for. They kept us updated. We felt very comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands. Would definitely use again and recommend.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Seminole
This is our second time having Minda as our Rover sitter for our Frenchie Oscar. We were in a pinch with last minute travel and she was able to accommodate. She is again very reliable, responsible and trustworthy and looks after our home as well. We were happy to hear and get pics of a new means of play she brought (ball with stick) to play fetch with Oscar which he loved. It's nice to feel relaxed when you are away and would book Minda again for the next time we plan to travel.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
