About: I’ve cared for animals of all ages and breeds ever since I can remember, whether it’s friend’s and family’s pets or fostering from local shelters. I have experience handling a variety of health conditions, including administering medication such as insulin. I’ve also worked for The Farmer’s Dog, where I’ve learned so much about dog health, nutrition, behavior, and habits that have been so useful in both my personal and professional life. My schedule is very flexible! I mainly work from home, so your furry friend would rarely be left alone. That said, I’m good with any day of the week! I don’t have any pets of my own, and my household consists of just my boyfriend (who is also an animal-lover!) and me. We have a fenced in yard and patio for your pup to run around and we enjoy going for walks as well. If your pet is house-trained, I have no problem with them sleeping anywhere in the house (including with me). However, if they’re still house-training or prefer the comfort of their cage, I’m happy to create a safe space for them to be temporarily crated.

Being a vet tech I am able to give injections as well as oral medications if needed. I have experience with elderly and special needs pets as well. I have a vast knowledge of training as well and would be thrilled to help teach some new tricks or have fun with old ones too! I currently create my own schedule and while I do have to be on-site this provides me a lot of flexibility to schedule visits with your pets. Sovan was perfect. He stayed with our dog at our home for roughly 12 days. He kept our dogs and our plants and kept them happy and healthy the whole time. He sent daily pics and videos while we were gone and was quick to respond to texts. When we got back, it was so awesome to come home to a clean house too. After having felt unable to travel out of anxiety over what to do with our dog, it's amazing to feel that we have someone we can trust to take care of our Dennis and our home.

I truly cannot recommend Walter enough, we had a sitter abandon our pets mid-stay while we were traveling abroad and Walter was able to step in and not only ensure our pets were cared for but truly loved! He took them on walks, played and hung out outside with them, and let the pets sleep in the bed with him. On top of all of that, he even cleaned all of the sheets and comfortable prior to my arrival back home. We will be using Walter again for our future travels.
