About: Hi, I'm Lexi! I've grown up alongside 2-3 dogs, which has inspired my love for any and all animals! I've pet-sat a wide variety of animals (list is below) and have 3 years of experience volunteering at animal shelters. Their happiness is my happiness :) I only pet-sit on days where I'm off from work, so I'll be right there to hang out with your fur babies all day! They can freely roam inside and outside (we also have a indoor/outdoor sunroom and a fenced-in yard), they're allowed on beds/furniture, and I won’t practice crating unless I'm instructed to. I live right by a park, so I love taking my dogs for short walks or just to go roam around in the lawn, whatever they're in the mood for :) I'm super attentive to their needs, as I currently own two senior doggos (a beagle and a dachshund) and have been able to spot even the littlest physical/emotional changes in them. On that note, I’d prefer to ONLY watch dogs that are not high-energy, so as to help keep my small senior dogs safe. I love keeping owners updated and make them feel like their fur babies are right there with them! Animals I've cared for: Dogs, cats, leopard geckos, hognose snakes, hedgehogs, and White's tree frogs. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I love starting the day by taking my dogs to the park that's 2 min away for a walk. If they seem bored, I’ll give them a car ride or take them to PetSmart to shop around :) I have a fenced in yard and two senior dogs to keep your fur baby company. Your puppo is more than welcome to chill on our beds and couches (we have dog beds, too). We even have a guest room in case they need space! We live right by Walter Fuller recreational park.

About: I’ve had both large and small dogs. From a 3 month golden doodle to a slowing senior mutt-mastiff. Dogs bring me joy and miss my old man back home everyday I work for Amazon typically 4 days a week and am gone for roughly half the day. I do have a roommate who works and opposite schedule so there will typically always be someone here I live in an apartment, however we have a large grassy area in the center of our complex. In the house, my area is their area. Couches and beds for cuddles or just napping is approved. Additionally I am an avid outdoor guy and would love to take your pets to parks! *** Please note, if your pet causes mischief resulting in significant property damage (potty problems, teething, scratching, etc) the pet owner will be fiscally responsible for the cleaning or repair.

I have professional experience handling and working with reptiles and insects, so there's not a lot that can phase me. Safety is always the most important detail for me. I know I wouldn't hire someone I didn't trust to take care of my own pets, and that's why I always treat other peoples pets as my own. Each owner has their own safety precautions when it comes to their pets, and I am always willing to learn and adapt to the needs of each animal to make sure they are safe. When caring for an animal, they will never be unsupervised or let off leash outside. Extra caution is also taken when walking dogs. Ensuring the leash is on correctly and that the dog doesn't get close to other animals is always something I make sure to do. In the Florida heat, dogs can easily become uncomfortable. I will always make sure to walk dogs in the grass when pavement is hot and to bring along water just for them. Pet sitting is my full time job. I have been using Rover for over 2 years now, and have been a pet sitter long before joining the site. My visiting schedule is 10:30 am until 3:30 pm. I am not available Wednesday or Sunday. I provide individualized pet care for each animal within a home. You can be assured your pet(s) will be taken care of as if they are my own.
