“Rita did an excellent job taking care of our loved one. Always in constant contact when massaged and was able to take care of our pup's needs with the instructions we left for her. Highly recommended and looking forward to the next time.”

“Jason was wonderful, patient with our anxious dogs. We lost both our sitters as they moved. So we’re working on finding new sitters. At first our little one was very scared and vicious.. Jason gave him treats and won him over in no time. He just stayed the day, but definitely call him again. He’s definitely a dog whisperer.👍💜🐾”

“It broke my heart to leave my cat Louis home while I was away for work for 11 nights but David did a phenomenal job house-sitting, taking care of her. He was responsive, sent regular updates, he even managed to steal her heart. I highly recommend David and would definitely book him again if I ever have to leave my girl alone for an extended period”

“Bethany did an amazing job watching my 2 fur babies. She sent pictures each day, was on time and compliant with everything I asked. I would definitely rebook with her again in the future and recommend her services to pet owners looking for reliable, trusted care.”

About: I'm a lifelong dog person that likes them all, big and small! I stay pretty busy dog sitting, especially in the summer, and I'd love to hangout with your four-legged friends. I'm comfortable with cats and other pets as well, just ask! I have had dogs and cats my entire life (not currently) and have experience with several breeds and some medical issues, such as epileptic seizures. I am compassionate and caring, and love puppy snuggles (if they want to give them). I will stay in your house or come by as needed. Along with the pet-sitting, if I'm staying at your place, I'm happy to bring in the mail, roll out the trash, and even take care of your pool if you've got one! work part-time and have some flexible side work, which allows me to structure my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for. I always make sure I have plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and keeping animals comfortable and cared for. Being around animals is something I truly enjoy, so it’s an easy and fulfilling part of my routine. I care for pets in my client’s home, where they’re most comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I usually stay with them and try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible, including meals, walks, playtime, cuddles, and downtime. I know being away from their family can be stressful for pets, so I focus on helping them feel safe, calm, and cared for while their humans are away.
“Anthony was great! Took good care of a Denver with lots of walks and trips to our dog park. Very easy to communicate with him , it was nice to know Denver was in good hands. He even sent pictures everyday of her!”

“Tina was amazing dog sitter! She gave us regular updates and sent pictures. She left our house spotless and was so easy to work with. Best of all is that she really loved on our sweet dog. Definitely use Tina. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Cindy was an excellent sitter staying in our home. She took care of our two dogs like they were her own. She was very helpful in bringing our packages in and more importantly our two girls got lots of love and attention. We will definitely use her to stay with our dogs again! Highly recommend!”

About: Myself and my wife have enjoyed our lives basically surrounded by dogs. When we were young and first married, we bought a house in the woods with two acres to build into a dog sanctuary. We breed and raised dobermans and danes. We built kennels and fenced in park for our kids (dogs). Our house was a paradise for dogs with a walk in basement and garage, heated and air conditioned complete with sofas, dog beds, carpeting and TV. We lived in Indy at that time. All our dogs were kept inside while we worked and always kept in ac and heat depending on season. The outdoor kennels has a large roof overhead and a deck off the back which lead to our wooded fenced in back yard(1 acre). We constructed a 200 foot walkway throughout the woods with well first class lighting. The property was on o hill and at the back a 20x 20 deck was at the end of the walk way. Our pool was a large 40x20 foot pool. All dogs trained on where steps were (pool school) and the dogs compound was separated by 5 foot chain link fence. All dogs were taken to obedience training by myself and my wife. We had one litter of 8 Doberman puppies and kept three puppies with their mother. When the mother passed we adopted a black Great Dane, she was 7 months old and spent half her nights downstairs in the kennels and lounge area with Jaba our largest pup to be his best friend. We always had two dogs in our bedroom, alternating both couples from downstairs to upstairs. People would say “ when I die I want to come back as one of Dan and Terry’s dogs”. We were fortunate to have the facility, which we designed and built, to make everything work so well. After our litter of dobermans aged and expired, we needed a friend for our Dane ( Molly Dane). We went to a no kill humane society event with our Dane and found a perfect Lab mix who just adored her. The name they had given him was Chauncey. We brought him home and showed him all his new home. He loved the woods, the pool, the kennels and the freedom of the back woods. He, however, was escape artist. The woods was all fenced with 5 foot brown chain link fence, but he kept getting out. We would search the neighborhood till we found him. We determined he could not jump the fence but rather he would climb it to escape. Given time, he would also dig under. We then added an invisible fence to the top of our fence only on the outer perimeter ( over a mile of wire). We trained him if he got within 3 feet of the fence, he was warned with an audible tone from his collar. However, if he got close enough he would receive a shock. This system worked great. Later, however, he had no desire to even leave his house and he loved his Dane. We, shortly later, rescued a Jack Russell from an apartment life which lacked human companions due to long work schedules. We kept him for a month and found a great home for him with another Jack Russell and a fenced back yard. We later rescued a wiener dog,who had nipped a kid, and was destined to be put down. He became a member of the family because my wife feel in love with him as he looked like a Doberman puppy. We sold our home in Indy, and moved to our second home in Florida with the Dane, the Lab and the wiener. I am currently sitting in my recliner writing this with the only survivor from those years in my lap, the wiener. We now have him, 14 years old, and his little friend, Joey (a rescue wiener 10 pound chestnut colored cutie). That’s our story. We do like to travel and we definitely hate to leave our dogs. We always have friends come to the house while we vacation and won’t go if all was not perfect for their care. Rudy, the old wiener, is now 14. He is blind now and Joey is a baby lap dog. We still walk Rudy in a baby carriage. He still is enjoying the elder years as much as we can provide. We have always loved our dogs. We love all DOGS! We are retired and live in a four bedroom ranch near the ocean. I work a day or two at a country club and my wife enjoys free golf and tennis with me. We never leave our dogs more than 4 hours. We are home or nearby most of the time. See pictures. Our back yard in perfect for dogs ( fenced, safe, etc). And our house is safe and comfortable . We have turasso floors, no carpet, and an open floor plan. We walk our dogs in a great neighborhood with sidewalks and speed bumps.

About: I’ve been doing this a while and animals trust me, I know what they need, I have senior dogs so I know how to care for them and I know how to train dogs even though I’m not certified. I’m available whenever I don’t have my drivers license yet but my mom drives me and if it’s for an overnight stay whatever time I’ve done those before I usually come in the afternoon the first day I’m there unless you would like me to come later. I stay in clients homes and usually it’s up to them whatever directions they leave for me for what is needed for their pet I follow such as where they can and can’t go in the house what to do if I leave for a little bit when to feed them how often to take them out.
“This was my 1st time leaving my puppy with a sitter. Jennica was very communicative and sent lots of pictures daily. She was very interactive with Otis and followed his schedule perfectly.”
“I would highly recommend Terri! She looked after our high maintenance Lulu for a week and they truly bonded. Lots of photos and it was obvious that Terri not only loves dogs, but speaks their language. She stayed in the house and it was great to know that she was taking care of everything. If she is available, we would definitely book Terri again.”

About: I stand out because I treat every dog like my own. I learn their quirks, stick to their exact routine, and keep you updated with photos so you’re never left wondering. With reliable communication and genuine love for animals, you come home to a calm, happy pup who had a great day. As a cat owner, I fit care into my day in small, easy chunks. My mornings are 10-15 minutes to feed, refresh water, and scoop the litter while my coffee brews. Evenings take about 15-20 minutes for dinner, a second scoop, and playtime — my cat is most active at dusk, so a quick wand-toy session helps her settle for the night. Weekly tasks like deep-cleaning the box or brushing take me 30 minutes total. Once I tied it to habits I already had, it became routine and keeps my cat calm and happy. I care for my pets by keeping their routine simple and consistent. Mornings are food, fresh water, and quick clean-up. Evenings are dinner, play or walks, and checking that everyone’s settled. I stick to their schedules, handle meds when needed, and stay on top of vet care so they stay healthy and happy.

“We were very pleased with Susie, the boys responded very well to her friendly demeanor. She was punctual, professional, and left the house in good condition! This was our first time leaving our babies behind and we were nervous but with all the pictures and communication we felt at ease. We would definitely request Susie again in the future.”

About: I have walked different sized and aged dogs before through volunteering for a dog and cat shelter. I love high energy dogs because they help make sure I get my exercise for the day. I am available during the summer because I am not working much. I will take care of your dogs like they are your kids. I am comfortable taking care of dogs. I know it's important to make sure dogs stay happy while in my care. I will make sure dogs and their owners feel exceptional and well taken care of after I work with them, I am interested in getting to know you and have me get to know your dogs. It's important to have someone to give attention at all times
“I am SO SO happy to have found Wendy! The dogs love her and so do I. She recently watched the dogs for a week while we were out of state on vacation, and even though I ended up with zero cell service and very spotty WiFi making it nearly impossible for me to reply to her texts, I felt completely confident and comfortable knowing that Wendy was with my babies and that they were in great hands! Thank you for loving them!”

Harbor Bluffs pet parents share their Rover experiences
Tina took excellent care of our babies while we went away on a family trip. She had a full house on her hands and made sure they had lots of attention and cuddles. Her daughter came over too to help with their care and playtime, and she communicated very well with us every day with photos and updates on how they were doing. We recommend her and would definitely book with Tina again in the future :)

Sovan was perfect. He stayed with our dog at our home for roughly 12 days. He kept our dogs and our plants and kept them happy and healthy the whole time. He sent daily pics and videos while we were gone and was quick to respond to texts. When we got back, it was so awesome to come home to a clean house too. After having felt unable to travel out of anxiety over what to do with our dog, it's amazing to feel that we have someone we can trust to take care of our Dennis and our home.

Amanda is LOVED by us and by our two Goldens! She takes exceptional care of the dogs and our home and communicates to us regarding anything important or concerning. Amanda is honest, reliable, and trustworthy, not to mention a great company to our dogs. We feel at ease knowing she’s watching over things while we’re away!

Astra was the perfect fit to watch our dog for our overnight get away. She kept us well informed with updates and photos. Pazzo took to her immediately, which was easily seen in the photos. We didn't appear missed one second. The true sign of the right sitter. We look forward to using Astra again.
