About: My first job was a dog walker at 13. I love to walk, play, and give cuddles to pets. I’ve always owned dogs and enjoy taking care of them. A typical day consists of walks, play time, and attention. I also volunteer part time at the SPCA which allows me to get to know the needs of many types of dogs. I have a large fenced yard and live in a walkable neighborhood. I own two well trained dogs that enjoy playing fetch and going for walks.

About: Hi! My name is Sophia. I have both professional and personal experience in caring for all types of animals. I have personally had dogs and cats since I was born. I have also had horses and many types of reptiles. I enjoy and am comfortable caring for dogs and cats of any size and breed. I have taken care of kittens and puppies, and well as animals in their older years. I have professional experience handling and working with reptiles and insects, so there's not a lot that can phase me. Safety is always the most important detail for me. I know I wouldn't hire someone I didn't trust to take care of my own pets, and that's why I always treat other peoples pets as my own. Each owner has their own safety precautions when it comes to their pets, and I am always willing to learn and adapt to the needs of each animal to make sure they are safe. When caring for an animal, they will never be unsupervised or let off leash outside. Extra caution is also taken when walking dogs. Ensuring the leash is on correctly and that the dog doesn't get close to other animals is always something I make sure to do. In the Florida heat, dogs can easily become uncomfortable. I will always make sure to walk dogs in the grass when pavement is hot and to bring along water just for them. Pet sitting is my full time job. I have been using Rover for over 2 years now, and have been a pet sitter long before joining the site. My visiting schedule is 10:30 am until 3:30 pm. I am not available Wednesday or Sunday. I provide individualized pet care for each animal within a home. You can be assured your pet(s) will be taken care of as if they are my own.
