Also comfy beds for nap time. During this period that I'm taking this job, my routine is just taking care of the dogs. I take them to the park twice a day and walk them! The rest of the time I'm always near them at home! So, they certainly don't lack attention here! About: I owned a crazy shelter dog for eleven years in Maine but am now pet free because I want to travel. My sons fly me to Texas and Maine to watch their dogs when they travel. I walk at least 15,000 steps a day and really miss having a pet. I am happily retired spending my time exercising, writing, cooking and generally enjoying myself which makes my schedule very flexible. I am definitely a morning person, so early works well for me. Due to working from home, I have plenty of time to devote to your tail wagging friend! Whether that be going for long walks, extra cuddles when needed, or simply just playing tug of war to get some extra energy out; your pet with have my full attention! I currently have a fenced in yard that your pet is free to roam or sun bathe in. We also live in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks that are perfect for mid day strolls.
About: Originally from Webster, NY where for over 15 years I offered dog boarding, daycare and training in a dog friendly home with a cage free, fun setting for social dogs. During that time, I was referred to by several local veterinarians and trainers. I have relocated to St Petersburg, FL and would love to offer special care for your loved pet. At this time I can offer drop ins, overnight stays and walks. I am a certified dog trainer who uses positive training techniques and is a Cornell University Graduate of Animal Science/Canine Behavior. My ultimate goal is to offer top notch care and experience for you and your pup. Since I provide care in my client’s home and through dog walking, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment and sticking closely to their normal routines. I always follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and any house rules. With my experience working in a veterinary office, I’m very attentive to behavior and health changes, and I prioritize safety on walks by using secure leashes, avoiding unsafe areas, and staying aware of surroundings.
