“Jennifer watched our cat Ozzy while we were out of town the week of Christmas and she was fantastic! Oz is very used to having us home all the time so leaving for 5 days was hard for us and him but Jennifer’s daily updates with pictures, to let us know his mood and that he was doing well was so reassuring. Would definitely recommend Jennifer as a sitter!”

“Zachary was amazing! Our dog loved him instantly and he was so patient with her. He kept us updated with photos. “Teresa is outstanding. We are very confident when traveling that our cats are shown love and affection, and that their needs are met. It was the little things she did for them/us is why we will continue to utilize Teresa. We highly recommend her.”

About: With a background in Search and Recovery (SAR) training, I offer more than just a walk around the block. I’ve spent my life living with and learning from breeds of all shapes and sizes - from the stubborn charm of Bulldogs to the high intelligence of German Shepherds. Whether your dog is a high energy athlete or a puppy still learning the ropes, I provide a structured, safe, and engaging environment. I also specialize in board and trains meaning I understand how to communicate with dogs effectively. I am currently raising my own GSD puppy and managing two cats, so I am an expert at multi-pet household dynamics and “puppy chaos” management. I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur kids! I’m available all day and tend to my own animals all day (and sometimes night) as well. I have a fenced yard and a friendly GSD puppy who can cuddle and play. I have a dedicated “animal room” where your pups crate will go so they can relax after a long day of fun.

About: I’ve never really known life without animals! I grew up with dogs and I’ve pet sat for friends and neighbors over the years. Now I have a playful kitten named Miso and a senior cat named Junie, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including giving medication when needed. I’m a calm, patient, and dependable person who loves going on walks, playing with pets, and getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or just wants someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. My goal is to make sure you have peace of mind and that your pet has a fun, stress free experience! I work a Monday through Friday 9–5 as an events coordinator, so pet care fits perfectly into my mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. I enjoy staying active, so walks, playtime, and spending quality time with pets are something I genuinely look forward to after work and on my days off. I know every pet has their own routine, so I always try to stick to what they’re used to. Whether that’s feeding them at certain times, going for walks, playing with their favorite toy, or just hanging out with them, I’m happy to adjust to what makes them most comfortable. I’ll also send regular updates and pictures because I know I’d want the same if someone was watching my pets! :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pamela and Darren were absolutely wonderful! They took amazing care of our pets and treated them like family. They kept us updated, were dependable, and made the entire experience stress-free. It was such a relief knowing our pets were in such caring and capable hands. We came home to happy, well-loved pets, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend Pamela and Darren to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate pet sitters!

Amanda was amazing!! She went above and beyond with our senior dog (Ralph) who has significant trouble walking. She administered pain meds, helped Ralph outside, and even purchased a special solution to soak Ralph's toenail in because it was damaged. Amanda took wonderful care of Ralph and was the best pet sitter we've ever had!
“Bailey was wonderful. She kept us updated with photos, arrived on time, and took great care of Luke while we were away. We’re very pleased with the service and will definitely book with her again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of our spoiled fur baby.”

Scott was absolutely awesome with Lucy! He is knowledgeable about dogs and their habits. He was very caring with Lucy and respectful of our routine with her. Scott sent pictures and notes everyday as to how she was doing. We liked his easy going demeanor at our first meet and his concern for her care and safety. Should we have need for a sister in the future, he will be the only person we call! ☺️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
