About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, including puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, dogs that need medication, and dogs with seizure disorders. I also have a dog child that is a mini Goldendoodle, Clover, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I work from home while going to school full time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule that lets me give pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’m happy to stick to their routine. I truly enjoy caring for animals, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I believe pets do best when they can stick to their normal routine. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions closely, from feeding and walks to medications, crate time, playtime, and any other preferences you have to help them feel comfortable and at home.
“Shelby was awesome. He took such great care of my chihuahua while I was away, even though my pup can be… A LOT. He kept me in the loop the whole time with photos and updates, which made being away so much easier. You can tell he really cares and knows what he’s doing. Super reliable, super kind, and honestly just great to work with. Highly recommend Shelby to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and phenomenal with pets. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

About: Coming from a family that loves animals, I’ve always been around and taken care of pets. My experience has been walking/petsitting for family and friends, mostly dogs but occasionally cats. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I have a very flexible work schedule. I am currently a student in flight school, which only requires short daily in-person commitment, so I am very flexible with timing. Most of my studying is done online so I am able to care for your pet at any time it is convenient for you. I am unable to provide care in my own apartment due to its size, but I am very clean and respectful of clients homes when visiting for care. I am a great communicator and will respond quickly as well as follow any requests or instructions you make.
About: I’m taking care of dogs from all age ranges and happy to work with puppies as well. I love to run around and get all the dogs energies out and take them on adventures. I available whenever and am happy to pick jobs up the same day if I can! I work during the day but love to help other people out with their dogs if I can! I care for pets by respecting the pet and the owner’s wishes and needs as well. I want to entertain the pet and engage with them to what fits their needs.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. I’ve been caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs for the past few years, so I’m comfortable with a variety of personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I understand that every dog has their own routine, and I do my best to keep them comfortable by following their normal schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and rest. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I’m happy to adapt to their needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. This allows me to provide consistent care, whether that’s morning, afternoon, or evening walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I enjoy staying active, so daily walks and playtime are something I genuinely look forward to. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule and preferences. In a client’s home, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and any other routines that help your pet feel comfortable.
“Kelsey was truly amazing! I hired her last minute after my previous walker moved, and she was incredibly accommodating, which meant so much since my dog is a newly adopted rescue. She was always on time, very responsive, and kept me at ease with her detailed report cards after each walk. It was clear that she treated Honey like her own dog and genuinely cared about her comfort and happiness. I’m so grateful to have found Kelsey and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate dog walker.”

About: Hello! Recently, I was laid off from my job in corporate america, and am now working part time and walking people’s pups! About: I’ve grown up with dogs/cats and have taken care of my neighbors or friends dogs for weeks at a time. I have extensive experience caring for dogs/cats, ranging from energetic pets to sweet senior pets. I’m good at managing them and attentive at reading their body language. I have been a passionate animal lover for over 16 years. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your fur babies. I treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I also volunteer at the humane society to be able to walk dogs. I am available on the weekends unless noted on my calendar. When outside, your pet will always be securely leashed. Elizabeth helped me out sooo much!! I did not think I could get help so last minute, but Elizabeth stepped in and helped us beyond our expectations. She made sure our puppies Scooby and Goose got their energy out with long walks around the neighborhood. She went the extra step and made sure our dogs were comfortable before she left by making sure they had enough water and many pets! She sent many updates and pictures of our dogs enjoying their walks. I definitely recommend her and i will be without a doubt leaving my pups in her care when we are out of town again.

Jolie was FABULOUS! I was super nervous leaving my sweet Daisy when going on a week trip, but Jolie made the trip stress free and easy for this anxious dog mama. She sent lots of pictures and took Daisy on plenty of fun walks while I was away and treated her like her very own. Daisy and I will definitely be using her services again and we would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her. Thank you so much 🩷

Ahmad was a true savior to step in with minimal notice and do a 23 day booking when Nena's primary caretaker had a medical emergency. Completely professional, great communication and every picture I received of Nena...she was smiling ear to ear! Nena was in great spirits when I finally got home after a long and difficult trip, I knew she was in good hands!

Natalie has been an absolute lifesaver, taking care of my pup as I recover from knee surgery. It’s amazingly clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She’s reliable, communicative, and always goes the extra mile to make sure my pup was happy, safe, and well-exercised. What really stands out is the level of attention and love she gives. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, professional, and truly passionate about animals, Natalie is the one. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Ari was great! Bert was so excited to meet her—he immediately brought her a toy before heading out on their 30-minute walk. She was very mindful of Bert being a pug in the hot weather and brought him back a little early, which we truly appreciated. He came home happy and exhausted! We’re already planning to use Ari again in just a few days. Highly recommend booking her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
