4. John M.
“I've known JT for a while now, and I can confidently say he'd make a great pet sitter. Last summer I watched JT take care of our friend's dog for a whole week, and he did a great job. He was extremely responsible and continuously checked in on the dog. He made sure the dog was always fed and got exercise and time outside. JT would leave plans early and work events around his priority of taking care of the dog. Jt is a very responsible and caring person, and any pet would be lucky to have him!”

5. Julianna S.
“I can’t recommend Anna enough! From the moment she met my dog, I could tell she genuinely cared. She’s patient, attentive, and treats every dog like her own. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight care, or just some extra love and playtime, I always feel at ease knowing my pup is in Anna’s hands. I’ve never seen my dog so excited to see someone—and that says it all!”

6. Jacob R.
“Jacob is a dependable pet owner who loves his cats. His own animals thrive under his care and he is very responsible and respectful. I’d let him watch my animals!”

“It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Melanie for a position with Rover as a pet sitter and dog walker. Melanie is a compassionate, trustworthy, and responsible individual who has a natural love for animals. Any pet parent would be lucky to have her caring for their beloved furry companions. Melanie has always demonstrated a genuine connection with animals, treating each one as if it were her own. Her calm demeanor, reliability, and attention to detail provide a sense of ease and confidence for pet owners. I have no doubt that Melanie will offer exceptional care and build strong relationships with both pets and their families. Melanie would be a perfect fit for Rover and an ideal choice for anyone looking for dependable, loving, and attentive pet care. Sincerely, Kathleen”

8. Amanda A.
About: I love cats and have grown up with quite a few throughout life. I have been a pet sitter to friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I have a senior cat now who needs daily medications, so I am familiar with providing comfort while giving specialized care. I work from home most days of the week and am free on the weekends, so my availability is pretty open. I am available for sitting Saturdays - Tuesdays to come check in and spend time with your cat. During drop ins, I make sure water bowls are full, litter boxes are clean, and food is served as scheduled. I also paws (pun intended) and take the time with cats to see how they’re doing with head rubs, ear scratches, or whatever they like to keep them company.

9. Erin J.

“Erin has been a lifesaver and my dog Maui loves to be with her!”

11. Scott R.

“Scott is personable, kind, easy to work with, and from the pictures seemed to have bonded nicely with my dog! He was able to take Bootsy on a walk with less than 24 hour heads up. What a dog saver!! Couldn’t recommend more :)”

12. Christina C.

“Christina was great! Very responsive on short notice and so sweet! Would recommend to use for any service and I will be using her again!”

15. Susy S.

“I can't say enough great things about Susy! She took care of my two pups for 5 days while we were out of town, and they absolutely loved her. She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. On a separate occasion, I had to leave town unexpectedly, and she stepped in at the last minute without hesitation. Her flexibility and genuine love for animals truly set her apart. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

18. Morgan A.
About: Hi, I’m Morgan! I’ve been caring for dogs for about 3-5 years in addition to school and other jobs, providing reliable pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and they’ve always been a big part of my life. While in college, I was actively involved with the Guide Dog Foundation, gaining hands-on experience training and socializing puppies. I specialize in providing attentive, loving care—especially for young dogs who need consistency and a gentle touch. Whether your pup needs a playful friend or a calm, reassuring presence, I’m here to make sure they’re happy and well-cared for while you’re away. As a busy graduate student with a part-time job on Mondays, I’ve structured my schedule to offer pet care on the days I’m fully available and focused. I currently provide dog sitting and related services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These days are free from both classes and work, allowing me to dedicate the time and attention your dog deserves. I make it a priority to maintain a consistent routine for the pets I care for, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and well-loved. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and cleanliness I would expect in my own. I follow all provided instructions carefully—whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, medication, or house rules. I aim to keep pets on their normal routine to reduce stress and help them feel comfortable while their family is away. I also make sure to keep the home tidy, communicate regularly with updates and photos, and ensure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. My goal is for both pets and their owners to feel completely at ease.

20. Madison M.
About: I'm thrilled to have recently graduated from UNCW & bittersweetly left my successful nearly 8-year career with Hendrick Automotive to pursue my Master's at UTampa as a Grad Assistant! I'm almost 23 - I have a sister(21), brother(14), & Brittney Spaniel who I used to care for. I love to be active, be creative, cook, & travel the world! I babysat for a 13-year-old when I was 16. At 17, I was recommended by my school counselor for a daily after-school position for my high school Girl's Soccer coach who had a baby, 3-year-old, 5-year-old, & puppy for a year until the pandemic. Recently, I tutored a 14-year-old weekly in Algebra in Fall '24 to prepare him for High School. I have my own car with a clean record. I love caring for pets & take care of my roommate’s cat - I wish I had time for my own! I like to ensure a safe & engaging environment for animals. I'm keen to navigating challenges with pets, as I have with adults in customer service for years lol! I’m looking for a part-time commitment (reocurring or situational) outside of school & my GA work to help support myself financially while enjoying this job - I just moved here last weekend near Channelside:) I’m open to care or even just walking! *I’ve only listed availability for Fri.-Sun. right now until I receive my Grad. Assistant schedule next Tuesday - these will most likely be the best days for me, but I’m sure I can squeeze in another day if needed + I used to work sometimes 15+ hr. shifts long ones are nothing to me! My main priority is ensuring a safe & fun environment for any animal. I respect their space if I can sense they want it or have the energy like a Golden Retriever to keep up:)
