14. Madison M.
About: I'm thrilled to have recently graduated from UNCW & bittersweetly left my successful nearly 8-year career with Hendrick Automotive to pursue my Master's at UTampa as a Grad Assistant! I'm almost 23 - I have a sister(21), brother(14), & Brittney Spaniel who I used to care for. I love to be active, be creative, cook, & travel the world! I babysat for a 13-year-old when I was 16. At 17, I was recommended by my school counselor for a daily after-school position for my high school Girl's Soccer coach who had a baby, 3-year-old, 5-year-old, & puppy for a year until the pandemic. Recently, I tutored a 14-year-old weekly in Algebra in Fall '24 to prepare him for High School. I have my own car with a clean record. I love caring for pets & take care of my roommate’s cat - I wish I had time for my own! I like to ensure a safe & engaging environment for animals. I'm keen to navigating challenges with pets, as I have with adults in customer service for years lol! I’m looking for a part-time commitment (reocurring or situational) outside of school & my GA work to help support myself financially while enjoying this job - I just moved here last weekend near Channelside:) I’m open to care or even just walking! *I’ve only listed availability for Fri.-Sun. right now until I receive my Grad. Assistant schedule next Tuesday - these will most likely be the best days for me, but I’m sure I can squeeze in another day if needed + I used to work sometimes 15+ hr. shifts long ones are nothing to me! My main priority is ensuring a safe & fun environment for any animal. I respect their space if I can sense they want it or have the energy like a Golden Retriever to keep up:)
15. Carolyn R.
“Carolyn is a true animal lover! We were co-owners of a sweet Klee Kai pup and I’m not sure what I would have done without Carolyn’s help. She is both attentive and caring - she goes above and beyond when an animal is in her care to ensure they receive the attention they deserve. Our pup Stella required so much attention, and Carolyn was always so happy to watch her, care for her when she was sick, play with her, feed her, take her out constantly. I wouldn’t trust too many people to take care of my own pet, but I recommend Carolyn with full confidence knowing that she’ll put you at ease the entire time you are away from your precious baby!”
16. Sophia S.
About: I started taking care of pets my freshman year of high school and now attend The University of Tampa where I run track and xc there and would love to continue to watch and walk your fur babies! I am generally pretty flexible, I go to Tampa so when I come home to Kansas I have more availability! I love a busy schedule and am a good communicator! I built a fence around my yard at home, I feed my dogs and walk them around the same time every day. Not to mention, the endless play time!
17. Keith E.
“Keith is an awesome sitter, we felt very comfortable leaving her with him for day care and overnight boarding. Highly recommend and will be using him again!”
18. Ava G.
“Ava took care of both of my dogs, Sonny and Tucci!!! She was awesome and such a caring pet sitter. Whenever my dogs see her since she’s been with them they are always so excited to see her! Another thing I love is that she loves to send photos of our dogs when we are away! So fun to see! She’s great with pets and very caring.”
19. Sophia D.
“Sophia absolutely loves her fur babies. She grew up in a house full of pets, and as soon as she could work, she was employed at a dog kennel. She has been pet sitting and walking for over 10 years and can be trusted with your family member. Sophia has experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with special needs. She is skilled in administering medication, handling multiple dogs at once, and ensuring each pet gets the exercise and attention they need. Her dedication and passion for animals are evident in the care and love she provides.”
20. Hannah T.
“Hannah is a very thoughtful, detail-oriented person. These qualities show up in many aspects of her life and caring for animals is no exception. I had the pleasure of living with Hannah for a period of time, and I always new my border collie was in good hands if I needed her to watch after her, feed her, play with her, or let her out for me. Hannah is extremely trustworthy and will ensure all pets she cares for are treated like her own! She has a great understanding of what it takes to own a well-mannered, trained dog so she will also be consistent if you are needing someone to carry on your training practices with your pooch while she looks after them. I have no doubts Hannah will make a great Rover-pet-caretaker!”
