“Gina was super awesome! Went above and beyond to make sure Thor was being taken care off. She provided pictures throughout the day and kept me informed of any important information. :) Definitely reliable and great!”

About: I have hands-on experience working in an animal hospital as well as assisting a professional groomer with her mobile grooming business, which has given me experience handling pets of all ages, personalities, and comfort levels. I’m confident working with energetic puppies, shy or anxious pets, and senior animals who may need extra patience and gentle care. What sets me apart is my calm approach and ability to read animal behavior closely to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I understand how important routine, trust, and attention to detail are when caring for someone’s pet. I do work full time at my animal hospital, however, I am very flexible and can work in check-ins throughout the week and am available on weekend's. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and low-stress environment while keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications if needed, and any household routines your pet is familiar with. I focus on making pets feel comfortable through patience, positive interactions, and attention to their individual personalities and needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, or needs extra reassurance, I adjust my care to what makes them feel safest and happiest. I also make cleanliness and safety a priority by keeping feeding areas, litter boxes, crates, and pet spaces clean and monitoring pets closely for comfort and well-being. With my animal hospital and grooming experience, I’m comfortable recognizing stress signals and handling pets gently and responsibly throughout their care.

About: I tested myself with my first dog at age 12, now with both sisters starting to become seniors, I have had experience with all age groups of dogs and cats. On top of that I have pet sat many dogs including 7 bull dogs at a time, which required much attention due to their high maintenance nature. I would mainly be doing this in the mornings and afternoons, as I have part time job and a student. But I am open to some weekends. I make sure my dog is walked on a daily basis both day and night making sure she lets everything out before going in, I also stay on top of feeding and taking care of her.

“Johnny is by far the best Rover I have ever had take care of my girl, Lucy. He truly just loves dogs and I am so grateful to him for giving me peace of mind while I have to leave my pup on long work days. Truly 10/10”

“I honestly can’t recommend Samantha enough. She’s been walking my 5 month old Samoyed, Charlie, five days a week for about a month now, and she’s been amazing since day one. Charlie is still a puppy and has tons of energy, but Samantha is always so patient with him and you can tell she genuinely cares about him. She keeps me updated during their walks and always sends the sweetest pictures and videos, which honestly make my day while I’m at work. She’s been incredibly reliable, communicates clearly and gives me so much peace of mind knowing Charlie is with someone I fully trust. The best part is how excited he gets whenever he sees her. He always comes back happy and tired, and it’s made such a big difference in our routine. I’m really grateful we found someone who cares about what they do and our fur babies.”

I don’t mind animals in my car if transport is needed and I have an intermediate sized Ruffland Kennel in my car. I pride myself in being punctual and able to thoroughly read and follow instructions. I’m a current Dental Hygiene student with 4 half days a week looking to fill in some free gaps by taking care of your pets ☺️. I prioritize punctuality, compassion and the best patient/client comfort which truly makes me a wonderful pet parent and sitter. I will treat your home with respect and provide your pet with care as if it was my own. I am able and have the patience to take care for your pet even during crate training and potty training.
About: I’ve lived with dogs since I was conceived, and I’ve been around them my whole life! I’ve raised one puppy thus far, and I’m currently raising my second. She’s a high energy breed, as are most of the dogs I’ve lived with/around, so no matter your pup’s needs you can bet I’ll be able to handle them no problem! I spend almost all of my time caring for and training my Portuguese Water Dog puppy. I’m training her to he my Psychiatric Service Dog, and she’s doing excellent thus far. Whatever your pet needs, have no doubt I can provide it. I’m extremely careful and cautious with all animals, even more-so with ones that aren’t my own. I constantly monitor them when they’re under my care, and take care of anything I spot at the earliest possible time to do so.
About: I grew up with dogs and always brought rescues home. I have volunteered at the Humane Society in the past and have experience with all types of dogs and cats. I currently work full time but I am home on evenings and weekends. I have a fenced back yard and I have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own. They are very social and can be around other nice dogs. I have a fenced backyard and I have 2 small dogs and 1 cat at home. My dogs are very social and can get along with other social dogs. We also love taking long walks.

About: My experience being solely responsible for pets and playing with pups ranges all the way back to when I was in elementary school about ~25 years ago. Over all the years many friends and family members have asked me to watch their pets in several capacities. This could be for just a few days to somewhere around 10-14 days. Taking their pets to my home, stopping by theirs a few times a day, or just taking them out on a whim when needed. I wanted to extend the same courtesy to my neighbors. When I learned what boarding rates were I couldn’t believe it. I’m in this more to help folks out who need the assistance (especially in a pinch) than I am to derive any form of surmountable income. I am retired from the United States Army and care more about helping/leading others than I do profiteering from them. Being retired and working part-time, I find myself with lot of time and availability to help those who need it, especially in a pinch. I never find myself meeting a pet I don’t click with almost immediately, so I am open to taking on new pups, felines, and of course their caring owners. Once an initial conversation is had it’s very easy to fit the mold of a pet’s routine and/or preferences. Please let me know how I can best assist you and your loved ones.

“Nigel carried my "baby" home the other day because she couldn't make it back on her own. He let me know and checked back in with between visits to see if she was ok. I knew Nigel was special since he began helping me with my dog but he went above and beyond, carrying a 65 pound pit bull home instead of dragging her and using harsh commands. I'm so glad I found him! He is truly a gift.”

Drew Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
When Nena's regular sitter was hospitalized right before a business trip we were completely lost and in a panic. Andrea to the rescue! Andrea was super quick and responding to my inquiry for availability, and setting up a meet and greet. Nena was extremely happy and pampered my entire trip, and I came home to a pup that was grinning from ear to ear! Great communication, updates and pictures everyday while I was away. Nena definitely has a new friend in Andrea!

Alejandro was amazing! He gave us so many updates and was amazing at communicating while taking care of our dog. He offered to come by to do a meet and greet and was super nice. We will definitely be booking with him again! An angel to work with & our dog seems to love him too! Thank you, Alejandro!

Valerie was wonderful! We left our 10yr old german shephard at home with a friend for 6 days. The friend spent the nights but needed to go back to St Pete to work during the day. That was when I discovered Rover and Valerie, and I'm so glad I did. Valerie was always on time, communicated well, and adjusted the activity to what my old boy needed. I highly recommend her services!

Payton was super responsive and attentive with my request! Rover made a mistake within the request and Payton was positive and had no issues with the correction! I greatly appreciate the care he gave to Sheba and will absolutely use him again for walks when I need someone reliable!! Thank you Payton, you are wonderful!

Woof! Hi, it’s me, Lucy. I am using my hooman’s phonr (don’t ask how) because I simply must leave a review for my Rover sitter, Jenna. First of all, when my hooman left, I thought “oh no…”. But the Jenna walked in, smelled like treats, sunshine, and someone who definitely knows how to scratch behind my ears properly. Jenna walked me and even threw the ball for me at the park! I even got a belly rub when we got back. Now that is service! Can’t wait for Jenna to walk me again! A++++
