I have two amazing dogs of my own, walking, feeding, loving, and playing with them is priority. I will do the same with your dogs. I have a fenced yard, huge neighborhood to take dogs for a walk. About: I've worked with animals my entire life, from my own personal pets to working in pet boarding facilities, grooming salons, pet stores, vets office & volunteering with rescue groups. I even ran my own pet sitting business for 5 years, which became highly demanding. Thanks to Rover, I'm looking forward to getting back into pet sitting part time as I love caring for all types of animals. I have experience with everything from dogs and cats to exotic animals and even farm animals. I have more than enough experience to care for your pets and home while you're away. I’m self-employed and structure my schedule around providing consistent, dependable pet care. Because I manage my own time, I’m able to prioritize visits, maintain routines, and be flexible when pets need extra attention. Pet care is a core part of my weekly routine, not something I squeeze in. I focus on reliability, clear communication, and making sure pets experience as little disruption as possible while their owners are away. My background in client-facing, responsibility-driven work strongly shapes how I approach pet care. I believe pets are most comfortable when they can stay in their own environment and follow their usual routine. My goal during drop-in visits is to mirror what they’re used to as closely as possible to reduce stress and anxiety. I take trust seriously when working inside clients’ homes. In addition to pet care, I’m happy to bring in mail or packages and tend to small household needs like watering plants if requested. I approach every visit with respect for both the pet and the home.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles and farm animals since I was young! I currently own my own business so my schedule is very flexible. Perfect for those last minute occasions that pop up. Available whenever needed to take care of your fur baby! The health, wellbeing and safety of your animal is of my utmost concern. I’ll always have your dog on a leash outside (unless you have a fenced in yard) and monitor their reaction to the environment. If there’s anything “off” about your pet I’ll notify you ASAP.

“Johnny is great! Johnny understands how to build a relationship with dogs and their owner. In one week he has built a strong bond with my dog and she looks forward to her walks with him. He also takes the time to hang out with my dog rather than taking her out for 5 minutes and leaving. Johnny is very professional, responsive and communicates effectively. He is always punctual and will let you know ahead of time if anything has come up on his calendar. He sends pictures daily of my dog and gives me details of anything that went on during their walk. I cannot recommend Johnny enough. Very lucky to have found him!”

About: From a young age, we’ve nurtured a deep love for animals, caring for a wide range of pets with tenderness and compassion. We’ve always felt a strong connection to the animals we look after, seeing them as beloved companions. One of our proudest achievements is raising our dog from a puppy, guiding her through training to become a well-behaved, affectionate adult. We’ve also had the privilege of caring for a neighbor’s senior dog, providing comfort and companionship. This experience reflects our genuine passion for animals and our commitment to their happiness and well-being. We work remote with flexible work hours and have a dog of our own. She often goes for walks and of course requires some belly scratches. Our home has a fenced in yard and we personally have a 8 year old cocker spaniel that loves to play but then also likes to chill. She matches the energy around her. We do not have dog crates, if your fur baby is crate trained, we request you provide a crate for their stay.

I’m able to accommodate most drop-off/pick-up times with a little notice, and I keep dogs on a structured daily routine. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced front and back yard for safe outdoor time, and dogs are always supervised and brought inside as needed (weather, energy level, or comfort). My home is structured and calm. I can offer private time and separation at any point, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routines and boundaries. Dogs can sleep crated, in a safe room, or in another arrangement you prefer. I also have two stable, friendly medium-sized dogs. If your dog enjoys social time, we can do carefully managed introductions and supervised play. If your dog prefers space—or does best as a solo guest—I can absolutely accommodate that too. I’m attentive to body language, stress signals, and anxiety, and I aim to make your dog’s stay peaceful and predictable.

About: I have experience working at animal shelters and cat rescues! Working with animals is my favorite thing to do. Brings me so much joy! I’ve had pets since I was 10 years old and pet sitting since 13 years old. I recently moved to Tampa for a zoo internship! I have a few days off every week and I would love to use some of my time to take care of your pets! I have worked at animal shelters in the past and am very passionate about helping out animals in any way I can. I have experience going to other people’s houses to take care of their pets. Being around animals is one of my favorite things to do.

About: I’m a dogs best friend, I like walking and being outside as much as they do! I grew up in a dog household and then began caring for dogs in clients homes for over 15 years now. I’ve taken care of 5 dogs, 5 cats and 15 rabbits at one time in one household before! I’ve never trained my own pets but I’ve assisted with training by enforcing the clients training commands and wishes. Im in good shape and can hike or go for extra long walks if you have an active animal. I’ll love and treat your dog as if it were my own. I think dogs are the best listeners and I love to mirror their unconditional love. I have several references to put you in contact with per request. I have a flexible schedule right now and would love to fill my open hours with pet visits and dog walking. I’m often available for last minute bookings. I have a fully fenced in backyard available for your dog to run. I do not have my own crates so a crate would need to be provided if necessary.
