About: Hi! My name is Isabel and I truly love animals. I have several years of experience caring for pets for friends and family and I treat every dog like part of my own family. I provide a safe, calm and loving environment where your pet will feel comfortable and cared for. I enjoy walking, playing and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I always send photos and updates so you can feel relaxed while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my priority. During the week I am available in the mornings and early afternoons (8 AM – 4:30 PM). I attend classes from 5:30 PM to 8:15 PM, but I am available again in the evenings after that if needed. On weekends I have more flexibility and can work mornings or afternoons. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. When I stay in a pet owner’s home, I follow their routines and instructions carefully to keep their pets relaxed and happy. I treat every pet with patience, love, and respect, just like they were my own.

About: I’ve taken care and trained all sorts of dogs since I was a child! My mother and myself did Paws Woth A Cause training ever since I was 7 years old so I have 10+ years experience of training and have a golden retriever currently! I work part time so I have plenty of time to be home and care for your pet(s)! Boarding from Thursday-Sunday (24hour) and weekdays after 5pm! I have a fenced in backyard and a very safe neighborhood for walks! I also have a loving golden retriever to play with any dog here! If your pet needs to be crated we can talk about that as well!
“I couldn’t be happier with the dog walking service! He was fantastic with my husky and schnauzer, always on time and full of energy. He sent regular updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!”

“Sherri did a great job taking care of Pico once again. She was also willing/able to work with us to extend our trip, when our original vacay plans fell through, so the trip wasn’t a loss.”

“Sarah was wonderful walking my two ladies while I was out of town! Receiving photos and updates and communication from her put my mind at ease. I feel confident in using her services again!”

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs all my life. Family and friends have always come to me to take care of their precious ones. No dog is too big or too small, I will walk and love them all :) I am an active military member in Tampa. My schedule fluctuates every week however I will keep my availability updated weekly. I will usually work 3 times a week so I will be pretty available. I currently live in an apartment complex with a private dog area and there is also a nature park and trails right next door. Being in Tampa there are plenty of dog parks and beaches for your dogs to roam and explore.
About: I believe dogs are family and should be treated as such! I would love to spoil your furry friend! I’m punctual and detailed when it comes to any job. I work a full-time job. I am available in the evenings/nights and weekends. I could even make some early mornings work. If times are flexible, please let me know! I take care of pets by knowing I’m in their environment first. I make sure they are comfortable before overstepping my welcome. Walking, feeding and spoiling them with lots of love are ways I personally take care of my dog.

About: 🐾 Your dog will be treated like family from the moment they arrive. I know how hard it is to leave your furry best friend with someone else, which is why I make it my mission to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment where they feel right at home. I’ve spent over 20 years caring for dogs of all personalities and sizes, and I genuinely love every minute of it. Whether your pup enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, exploring the yard, or getting plenty of belly rubs and attention, I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is in great hands. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and personalized care, and I treat each one as if they were my own. I’d love to meet you and your four-legged family member, send me a message and let’s see if we’re the perfect match! I work from home, which means your pup will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention, and supervised time throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of love. Like any family, I occasionally step out for errands or appointments. If your dog experiences separation anxiety or isn’t comfortable being left alone for short periods, I kindly ask that you provide a crate or let me know their specific needs in advance so we can ensure they stay safe and comfortable while I’m away. My goal is to make every pet feel at home while giving owners complete peace of mind. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I care for both dogs and cats, and I treat every furry guest like a member of my own family. For dogs staying in my home, I provide frequent, structured potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Since I don’t have a fenced backyard, dogs are taken on regular walks every 2–3 hours and again about 40 minutes after meals to keep them comfortable, active, and on a healthy routine. My home has an open-concept layout, and all pets remain safely on the downstairs level with a baby gate blocking access to the stairs, creating a secure environment where they can relax and play under supervision. For cats, I provide a calm, low-stress environment that respects their unique personalities and routines. Whether they’re playful or prefer their own space, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving them the attention they need on their terms. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. My goal is for you to return home to a happy, relaxed pet—and to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“We cannot say enough about how awesome Amanda is! She is so sweet!! She came twice a day to walk my mom's papillon for a good halfhour each time and little Courtney just loves Amanda! As I live out of town, finding Amanda to walk my mom's pupper was an absolute godsend!! As I'm the one with the River app, I had great peace of mind getting the daily updates that she was picking up and returning little Courtney and the daily pics were nice to get too! We will definitely rebook with Amanda anytime we need her because of the great care she took of Courtney.”

About: **We accept requests for dogs up to 50lbs for boarding** My husband Cory and I have had plenty of happy clients with both walking and dog sitting. We've had our own pup, Bean, for 3 years, and have been watching pups for years both back in the state of RI and through Rover in DC for six years. We're experienced with puppies as young as 3 months old to dogs as old as 18 years, so we have ample experience with dogs of all ages, including administering meds. We honestly love everything about dogs and watching them is a pure joy because our pup Bean loves friends! We're extremely patient and always go above and beyond with our clients' dogs -- we treat your dog like a part of the family. **In order to book, we would need to have a meet and greet with your pup and ours to ensure they get along and also to ensure you feel confident leaving your pup with us while you're away.** We can't wait to be your next dog sitter!! Both of us work from home full time, so we are available to let your pup out to play in our fenced back yard any time they want. Our dog Bean is a diva and he demands walks to poop, so you can expect your pup to get at least two mile-long walks per day with our dog and plenty of time in our back yard playing. Simply put, we would treat your dog like they're our own. Our pup is like our child and you can expect your dog to be treated the exact same when they're with us. We allow dogs on the furniture, in the bed, and supervise playtime. If you need a crate, we can provide one for your pup when they're here. We also provide pictures to update you about how your pup is doing and can provide potty report cards if you'd like!
About: Your animal will be loved and cared for immensely ❤️! I have over ten years of experience with taking care of animals, and I shared responsibility with two pups of my own in the past. During university, I frequently volunteered for the Humane Society. I feel comfortable with all sorts of breeds, sizes, and personalities. My community is gated, and there is a big area for your pup to walk in leashed. Be sure to bring your animals favorite toy, crate, and food when you drop them off! Currently, I work from 9 AM - 4 PM Monday - Friday. There are sometimes instances where I will work from home, but these are irregular. I am able to walk your animal after work and before work, and provide them with the necessary care at these instances as well. Your pup will be safe, cared for, and loved at my place. All precautions with other animals will be taken. I have no pets of my own. I have no kids of my own. I will ensure that I will take care of your animal like it was my own.

“Valentina was excellent with my puppy. She is prompt, courteous and communicative. Never had an issue if I needed to change my schedule. I felt comfortable leaving my puppy in her excellent hands and will be scheduling Valentina on a regular basis.”

“Quintin is by far our first choice when we need a pet sitter. We have used his service for a period of 5 days. During that time, he kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving our dog and cat behind. Above all, Quintin is trustworthy, and our pets love him. We would be happy to provide personal reference upon request.”

“Suzanne is awesome! Our dog Daisy is so excited to see her every time. She does a great job keeping me updated of how Daisy is doing with her walking on leash. She is timely and professional. We are lucky to have found her.”

“I recently hired Nicole to take care of my dog, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From our first meeting, it was clear that they genuinely love animals and understand their needs. Nicole is always punctual, reliable, and communicates regularly with updates and photos from their walks. My dog absolutely adores them and comes back happy and tired after each session, which speaks volumes about the care and attention given. The walks are tailored to my dog’s energy level, ensuring he gets the exercise he needs. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker!”

“Josh has been so helpful and kind in walking our dog, Benny. We have a shy pup and Josh has done such a great job making Benny comfortable and creating a safe environment for him. We really appreciate him!”

The best! Reagan was great! Always timely and great communication. She was willing to accommodate a last minute change. The dogs were happy and were well taken care of along with my home. One of my dogs had accidents and she took care of it all and took great initiative. Thanks again!!!

Sherri did a terrific job dog sitting my miniature dachshund. I had Sherri come by to take my dog out for potty and she even took out our other dog too! She was very communicative and took plenty of pictures during her visits. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!

I just have to reiterate how great Nigel has been to me and my old dog Mercy. It means the world to me that I don't have to worry about a single thing when I'm at work knowing Nigel will be there. Plus he is so flexible with unavoidable last minute bookings and even later cancellations, due to the nature of my job. He is like family to me and I highly recommend him.

On a very short notice(less than 24 hours) Kyra saved the day by keeping Coco safe and comfortable at our home while my wife and I moved our youngest son into college. Kyra went above and beyond, making sure we were up to date on how Coco was doing. Thank you for a great job! Our first Rover experience was awesome.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
