“Nicole was on time and was a great communicator ! Quick to respond , flexible and was very sweet to our baby max ! She did a great job cleaning up ! Will definitely use her services again !”

About: Hi! My name is Isabel and I truly love animals. I have several years of experience caring for pets for friends and family and I treat every dog like part of my own family. I provide a safe, calm and loving environment where your pet will feel comfortable and cared for. I enjoy walking, playing and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I always send photos and updates so you can feel relaxed while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my priority. During the week I am available in the mornings and early afternoons (8 AM – 4:30 PM). I attend classes from 5:30 PM to 8:15 PM, but I am available again in the evenings after that if needed. On weekends I have more flexibility and can work mornings or afternoons. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. When I stay in a pet owner’s home, I follow their routines and instructions carefully to keep their pets relaxed and happy. I treat every pet with patience, love, and respect, just like they were my own.
“Dwayne did a great job of watching after our fur babies! He was communicative, respectful of our home, and was flexible with us when an additional service was requested at the last minute. We will use Dwayne again in the future for sure!”

“I had the absolute best experience with Haley. She was so caring and patient with my senior chihuahua. She kept me updated throughout my trip, and I never had to worry. I’ve already booked her again!”
About: I have had a variety of animals in my life and currently have 2 cats and a puppy! Animals are so special and I want to fill my free time taking care of them. I have helped out neighborhood friends before by both cat and dog sitting:) I do work full time so I am mainly available on the weekends but can be flexible! On weekends I have availability all day long. My cats and pup at home have everything and more. I keep my environment both cat and dog friendly! I always make sure that the pets are happiest they could be.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. My family had a farm where we raised pigs and cows, and growing up my grandma had 21 indoor and outdoor cats. I’ve also grown up with dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals throughout my life. My family currently has both a pug and a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes. I currently have two cats of my own, and one has epilepsy, so I’m also comfortable giving medication and following specific care routines. I understand how important consistency and attention can be when a pet has additional needs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ll treat every pet I care for like one of my own. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my day. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, medication, and plenty of attention. I like to meet pets beforehand whenever possible so they can get comfortable with me and I can learn their routine, personality, and needs. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable giving medication and caring for pets with special needs.
“Leroy was a big help, when we brought our puppy home. Skye really enjoyed seeing him for her potty break every day, while I was at work. I would highly recommend him to anyone! And if I need a pet sitter again, he would be my first choice.”

About: Hi! I’m Lindsey, and I’ve grown up around pets my whole life. Being around animals has always felt natural to me, and I love getting to know each pet’s personality. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs in the past, which gave me experience with a wide range of dogs, from small breeds to large dogs, and from playful puppies to slower-paced senior pups. I’m comfortable handling pets with different temperaments and energy levels, whether that’s taking a dog out for a walk, stopping by for a visit, or spending some time giving a cat attention and care. I also have experience giving medication. My own dog had diabetes, and I gave him daily insulin shots, so I understand how important it is to follow instructions carefully and make sure pets feel calm and safe during those moments. I’m reliable, attentive, and a big animal lover. I truly enjoy spending time with both dogs and cats and would treat your pet like my own. I’m always happy to adjust to whatever helps your pet feel comfortable, whether that’s sticking closely to their routine, giving them playtime and enrichment, or just keeping them company. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn about their routine, personality, and anything that helps them feel at ease. Every pet is different, and I want to make sure they have the best experience possible. I work full time during the week, but I love spending my free time caring for pets! I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. On weekdays, my availability is usually early mornings (around 5:30–7:30 AM) and evenings (about 5:30–10 PM). On weekends, I’m more flexible and typically have greater availability for visits, walks, and house sitting. If you’re unsure whether your timing fits, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to see if we can make something work! I take safety and trust seriously when caring for pets. I always pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and environment to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine closely and accommodate any special instructions, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, or preferred walking routes. I also make sure to keep owners updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: I am new to dog walking for others on an app, however my family has had a family dog since I was 10. I have dog-sat for my sister and mother over the years and love all animals in general. I treat dogs and cats as their own individuals and act as a secure space for them to be comfortable. I am new, but I do appreciate anyone taking a chance. I work a full-time serving job that goes fairly late into the night. During weekdays I am more available however my schedule does shift for work. If you need late night walks for your precious child while you work or party, I’m here for you. Schedule- Monday- always off Tuesday/ Wednesday- usually off (3-10) Thursday- possibly off (3-12) Friday/Saturday- usually working (3-2am) Sunday- usually working (3-10) If you have any questions or need any flexibility let me know and we can see if something can work. Right now I do not have my own fur baby, only because I know how much care they require and I would like to be in the best position possible to care for them myself. I do care for all pets and animals with unconditional love and affection, and have lived with pets where I did take a partial responsibility in care.
“Dana was absolutely fantastic with our two cats. Such peace of mind! She even managed to give one of them the asthma inhaler which I wasn’t sure our cat would accept from someone else than me. Highly recommend!”

About: I am pretty lucky to have my own business and a pretty flexible schedule. So coming up with times that works for the both of us will be the easy part. I understand trusting your fur baby with someone else even for just an hour walk can be nerve wrecking. But I can assure you I will do my best to make sure they feel safe and also have a fun time. From watching over cats to even watching a cow for a friend, being around animals is something that I enjoy. Having to give medication to dogs, picking up after them, and letting all their energy out are things I am quite familiar with and have no problem doing. I hope by seeing my profile you feel confident that I can be a good fit for a one time booking, or becoming your regular Rover user! Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! -Celina. I am self employed with a food truck and currently in my slow season and would love a part time job to keep busy. Therefore I have a very open and flexible schedule, when my busy season picks back up I will adjust my schedule. Even then I will still have time for clients and will be available. As someone who has dogs and has always had animals growing up I’m aware of how important exercise, time, and affection is to them and us! My Australian shepherd Pepper needs lots of time to let her energy out and keep her mind stimulated so I’m well trained in those departments. As well as administering medications if needed.

“Shawn has been amazing to work with! Our pup can be difficult but he seems to love her and cooperates with her. 10/10 would recommend her. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to help.”

“Caroline is so so amazing!! She truly cares for the fur babies and does a wonderful job. Very punctual, thorough and provides plenty of great updates and pictures. She is fantastic and I will be looking to book with her again in the future.”

About: Grew up with dogs my whole life. We always had yorkies in the house. Boxers in the family, pitbulls. My mom worked at a pet store and animal clinic; she was always bringing animals home. I currently volunteer at the Human Society; I walk dogs, feed the puppies, and pick up poo. I'm a part time student and study online from home. I am an animal lover but have not yet made the commitment to adopt my own. If caring for yours, they will be the star. I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow each pets normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or special instructions and plenty of attention and affection. I’m attentive to each pets, individual personality and needs whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a calmer approach.

About: Having been raised by a father who was a veterinarian, I’ve had experience raising and caring for various types of animals. I believe our fur babies aren’t just pets, but are our children, family, guides and protectors I recently resigned from teaching and only have to care for my kitty child Lyran, so I’m pretty free and available for most dates and times requested. Having a cat baby at my house, I would prefer to go to the clients house to care for their pets. I can make exceptions and keep a clients pet depending on the pet and requirements for care.

Genesis was absolutely amazing from the beginning. We have two cats and they both warmed up quickly around her. She sent updates with photos and did everything we asked from her. We are so happy we found someone, who can check on our cats, when we are out of town. We'll definitely reach her out next time!! Thank you Genesis for your help one more time 😺😊

Whitney did a wonderful job with my 2 guinea pigs! She went above and beyond to clean their cages each visit, bond with them, and give them lots of love. She did great giving one of them their medication each visit. She was easy and quick to communicate with during the whole process! I loved the pictures and detailed updates on how they were doing each visit. I had a great experience and would use her again!

Rachel was so professional and attentive! My cat and dog were comfortable with her instantly after their first visit; she has been watching Lulu and Carson for almost 6 years. She followed all of the directions we left and is always very accommodating when I ask her to change the booking times. Rachel is friendly, respectful and trustworthy. Would recommend her services to all cat/dog parents !!

Kyle was absolutely wonderful with my German shepherd Quinn! From the very first meeting, Quinn instantly got along with her, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Truly exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t have asked for someone more caring and trustworthy to look after her. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

Emma was amazing! She provided my kitties with such great care, and gave me very detailed feedback about how they were doing while I was gone. Emma was also super responsive to any messages I sent. I felt so comfortable knowing she was caring for my kitties while I was gone. I also appreciate her mindfulness and help with helping clean the litter, emptying out the vacuum, and keeping the kitchen very tidy. I would 100% recommend her for caring for your pets! Thank you, Emma!

Jacquie was absolutely AMAZING! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our three cats while we were away. She was incredibly caring, responsible, attentive, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. She kept us updated throughout the entire trip and sent us the sweetest pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our babies were safe and being well taken care of.

Dana provided absolute top tier service and made the entire process completely seamless! From start to finish, Dana was attentive, highly professional, and exceptionally helpful. Communication was clear and prompt, and every detail was handled with care and genuine dedication. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
