“Dana was a wonderful sitter for my two cats. She was reliable, flexible, and very personable. She made sure to update me regularly and send photos which I love. I would consider her again in the future and highly recommend to others looking for pet care!”

About: Humble greetings. My experice with animal care began when I was about 11 years old. I've been raised around and have cared for a plethora of dog breeds and sizes. I've also experienced, and cared for a range of different animals like reptiles, rodents, felines, fish and dogs. I enjoy many different pets/pet personalities and ensure that I can provide the care your paw-some pet requires ^u^. I'm currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule. Weekends, and Some holidays are great times for my availability. I'm willing to negotiate some weekdays depending on my schedule. Depending on the animal, I will provide the care that is requested of me by you(the owner). Since you know your pet better than I do, I would like to have a description of the pets personality, meal times, routines, healthcare needs and habits so I know how to accommodate them best( knowing whether they need space, like cuddles, have zoomies, need medicine throughout the day, need assistance walking etc.) If your pet is medicated I need to know HOW they are given their medication and when they are to recieve it. I also need to be notified of any disabilities they may have. This is all to ensure that my care is excellent for you and them.<3
About: I have had many pets over the years, I have a special skill set for high anxiety dogs. My 10 year old Dalmatian is high energy high stress and high anxiety. I’m great with long walks, letting them get their sniffs out and understand the importance of having someone to help while you’re away. I’m currently available for drop ins or walks Mondays and Thursdays anytime as well as the weekends. I’m flexible to your needs, if you need a long walk or just a quick check in I’m happy help. I can’t bring another dog into my home due to my dogs anxiety I can only do dog walking outside the home. I do not wish to offer this service

About: I own aquatics, reptiles, cats and dogs. I live in a large house just me and am a home body. I also have a large fenced in backyard and my neighborhood has lots trails and sidewalks great for dog walking. I work part time from home on my own time so my availability is pretty much open! I also have automatic litter boxes as well as traditional litter boxes and hardwood/tile floors in case of accidents. I also have a large metal dog crate if needed I have a large fenced in yard and I also have a dog that is sweet with others and spayed! If you are uncomfortable with another dog in the home I can also have my mom take care of my pup as she only lives down the road!
About: My name is Lauren, and I just recently graduated with my masters degree. I currently have two jobs, but I would love to make a little extra cash so that I can fulfill my dream of moving to Boston! Given my love for animals, I felt that pet sitting and dog walking would be a great additional source of income. I currently have one sweet baby named Darcy, who is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have been around both cats and dogs my entire life, as I grew up with them around the house. I have also done pet sitting for neighbors growing up, and I often watched my friends’ emotional support animals at college while they visited home. My current schedule is a bit random depending on the week, but I am always available in the evenings, 7 days a week. Some days I’ll only have one job rather than both, which gives me more availability (those days are usually Sat, Sun, or Mon). My yard is fenced and my dog gets along with others very well! I am also absolutely open to coming to your home to care for your pet if that is your preference.
“Kyle was absolutely wonderful with my German shepherd Quinn! From the very first meeting, Quinn instantly got along with her, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Truly exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t have asked for someone more caring and trustworthy to look after her. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

About: I've loved and cared for dogs my whole life, and pet sitting lets me combine that with something else I enjoy: helping people. My own Jack Russell, Marley, keeps me on my toes, so I'm very comfortable with high-energy pups who need plenty of exercise and stimulation. I've also cared for senior dogs over 12 and understand that older pets often need a gentler pace, extra patience, and close attention to their comfort. I've walked and dog-sat for friends and neighbors many times, and I treat every pet like my own. If your pup struggles with separation anxiety, I'm happy to spend time with them during the day so they get company, attention, and exercise while you're away. My professional background is in fast-paced, detail-oriented work, so you can count on me to be punctual, organized, and communicative. I live in town year-round, have a flexible schedule (including weekends), and have reliable transportation. Short walk or long adventure, I'll tailor each visit to what your pet needs. Animals have always been part of my life. I grew up with dogs, have one of my own, and have cared for friends' and family's pets for years, so walks, feeding schedules, and noticing changes in a pet's mood or health are second nature to me. I'm available Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm, which means I can offer consistent, dependable care whether you need a midday walk or a quick drop-in. I'm happy to follow your routine exactly, from feeding amounts to favorite walking routes, and I'll send photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat your home and pet like my own. Before we start, I'll learn your pet's routine, feeding instructions, and emergency contacts. Dogs stay securely leashed on every walk, and drop-ins include fresh food and water, cleanup, and plenty of attention. I always lock up behind me and send photo updates after each visit
“Jolie has been an awesome pet sitter for my two cats! She always sends me pictures and updates about how they are doing while I’m away. So happy to have her take care of my babies while I’m away!”

About: Your animal will receive plenty of affection, treats, and playtime. I have spent about five years babysitting and caring for animals. Because my neighbors foster cats frequently, I have handled many kittens and bottle feeding, and I have provided proper care for any animals found on the streets, ensuring they receive the necessary treatments and medications. I enjoy giving animals the attention they deserve, playing with them, and learning their needs; I believe an open mind is essential for understanding what they truly want. I recognize that every animal is different, so I apply my best effort to accommodate any animal’s needs. I can assure you that your furry companion will enjoy time with me. Your furry friend will have a blast with me. I’m currently a swim instructor at aquatics for you. I teach babies the basic survival skills of how to swim and float. I’m also attending HCC right now to pursue a degree in diagnostic sonographer. I just graduated from Riverview high school where I played volleyball for six years club and school season. I love going outdoors playing soccer and volleyball. I also enjoy listening to music and dancing. I believe life is way too short, so you have to soak in every moment that you can. I’ll make sure that every animal dog or cat is completely put in a safe and welcoming environment. I think every animal just wants affection and love and they definitely will receive that with me. Any expectations or rules that are given to me will be followed to the T. there are no excuses for any sort of disrespectful or bad behavior on my end. I’ll make sure to provide any service that you would like.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Adamsville
She was super attentive and made sure my pup was okay. She asked all the questions that I didn’t even think about! She made sure to take Khaleesi on a short walk like instructed and picked up the poop and disposed of it for me! She gave her water and a treat too!! 10/10 would recommend & rebook. She came in for me last minute it worked perfectly.

Victoria took care of our cat over the past month. She was reliable, loving, considerate and responsive. She sent detailed feedback and lots of pictures after every visit, Our cat absolutely loved her and always enjoyed her visits. Definitely the best petsitter you could ask for.

Connor was great watching our cat Pepper while we were away! He sent photos and a detailed check in each day, making sure she had everything she needed. He went above and beyond cleaning around her little box and taking out the trash when he noticed it was full. Pepper can be quite shy, and he took the time to coax her out with toys and give her extra attention! Would highly recommend Connor for any pet sitting needs!

Kyra did an amazing job caring for my high energy senior, Zelda while I went away for a few days. She sent update pics and videos each drop in visit she did. Would recommend Kyra 10/10! Very sweet and apparent she is a dog lover like me. Just to give some background, I’ve been a professional dog trainer since 2007 and I’m particular about how my dog is cared for and Kyra met my expectations 😊

Noel has been taking care of Jinx for a couple years now and I can tell Jinx looks forward to her visits with giving her his full belly for belly rubs. She's has great communication and sends the best pics. I'm always confident Jinx is in great hands whenever I go on vacation and Noel takes care of him.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
