“This is my second time booking with Lisa, she did a great job. When she came over to get the keys my dogs were so excited to either hear her voice or smell her sent Niko was crying and howling. They would have remembered if it wasn’t a good experience for them and wouldn’t have been eager to see her. I definitely will have her watch my babies again.”

“She was great. Even called out my baby’s bumps she has all over and wanted to make sure that was normal. What Melissa didn’t know is we had two other dog walkers that day and neither of the other two walkers mentioned a thing about it. I would definitely rebook Melissa again.”

About: I'm a devoted pet lover and proud companion to two joyful dogs, 1 cat, I understand how deeply our animals shape our lives. I don’t just watch pets. I welcome them into a space filled with warmth, routine, and affection. I treat each animal with the same love and attention I give my own, making sure they feel safe, seen, and truly at home. At home, pets join my two friendly dogs in a calm, loving space with lots of play and snuggles. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely and care for them like they’re my own—gentle, present, and always kind. 🐾 At my place, pets hang out with my two sweet dogs in a cozy, calm space full of love. At your place, I stick to their routine and give them the same gentle care I’d want for mine.
About: I have raised dogs since I was 10 years old. I have had various breeds from poodles to pit bulls. I cared for family member dogs when they were away. This is how I earned my allowance as a young child and teenager. Currently I have a 1yr. old red moyen poodle. I am totally in love w/my Ruby girl.We have gone tru much training together. My last dog Gigi lived to 17 yrs. and had some Med. issues at the of life, so equiped to deal w/senior dogs as well.precious I am now retired so I have plenty of free time. Ruby has standing dates every Saturday @Dog Park, plus we go on walks and have play-time with her many toys.Your dogs will be welcome to join in as much, or as little as they like. Ruby knows all on leash commands and is also crate-trained, but does not stay in one while at home. It would be available should your dog need it. Dogs are allowed on the furn. and on the bed, as this is where we cuddle & get kisses. My home is dog friendly in all ways, Ruby has a special fenced-in backyard just for her & playmates.Your dogs will LOVE-IT HERE !!!

“Noel has been an incredible care giver! She is someone you can trust to take care of your pets. She not only went above and beyond each visit, but also took on more days on zero notice when my flight got canceled.”

“Madison is awesome! She takes such good care of my Kris P. Bacon. She plays with him and makes sure he’s comfortable. She has even cleaned up after him when he had an accident in the house. Madison communicates well and often…I have peace of mind when she takes care of my baby.”

“Shannon was amazing while I was gone! She made sure I felt comfortable and that my kitty was happy and safe. I loved her updates and communication throughout the week.”

About: I have sat/walked/and cared for many dogs and cats many times. I also have experience with giving cats and dogs medication. I do well with keeping dogs calm when in distress. I used to be a vet tech and worked at a shelter. I am always free unless already taking care of another animal. I am super flexible as I do not have another job or taking classes at the moment. I have a yard and a friendly neighborhood. I also have a dog park near me, I do have 2 cats and 2 dogs so if your cat or dog does not do well with other animals then I cannot board animals in my home.

Thank you so much to Stacey for taking such wonderful care of Fifi. Fifi is a shy tuxedo girl, and I really appreciated how gently and attentively Stacey looked after her while I was away. Stacey's thoughtful messages on Fifi's behalf were a lovely touch. I highly recommend Stacey as a cat sitter and will definitely use her services again.

Amanda was great with our two Cats. One of our cats went into hiding at the end of our trip and Amanda stayed lingering just to make sure she got eyes on the cat before leaving. The cats and our house were left exactly as we left it, clean and happy. Thank you Amanda for the great job.

Anna is amazing! She went above and beyond caring for my kitties while I was away. She sent photos, brought in any packages by the door and even swept the floor. She is caring, compassionate, and kind. I am so grateful to have connected with Anna and look forward to her watching my kitties whenever I am away from them.

Noel has been taking care of Jinx for a couple years now and I can tell Jinx looks forward to her visits with giving her his full belly for belly rubs. She's has great communication and sends the best pics. I'm always confident Jinx is in great hands whenever I go on vacation and Noel takes care of him.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
