“Tristin is amazing. My dog Kairo loves her and enjoys going on walks with her. She has been our house sitter for about 2 months now and I have nothing but great things to say about her. Communication is amazing and you can tell she genuinely cares for him.”

“Linnea is proof that there is still good people out there. She was so nice and accommodating to my unstable weekend schedule! She treated my dogs like her own and extraordinarily trustworthy. I am definitely going to rebook and recommend her.”

“Nalisha was AMAZING! she communicated with me Often, was able to Adapt to my dogs needs and gave them Lots of love while we were away. Helped to make sure my Dogs were comfortable and safe when a storm Was headed to the area. Thank you again Nalisha!”

“This is my second time booking with Lisa, she did a great job. When she came over to get the keys my dogs were so excited to either hear her voice or smell her sent Niko was crying and howling. They would have remembered if it wasn’t a good experience for them and wouldn’t have been eager to see her. I definitely will have her watch my babies again.”

“Shayla was amazing with my fur-baby! She followed instructions as directed, communicated daily, provided prompt responses, and arrived on-time for scheduled check-ins and walks. For example, my dog is given multi-vitamins twice daily and Shayla followed those instructions. She was flexible with her schedule: as I needed to add check-in services and accommodated my last minute requests. She showed some much love and patience towards my fur-baby during my extended trip with lots of hugs, belly rubs and play, which added the comfort my fur-baby needed. I would highly recommend Shayla to anyone who is seeking someone who is truly passionate about caring for your pet, has excellent communication skills, and is extremely reliable. We look forward to booking Shayla again!!”

About: I believe that pets are more than animals, they are also family. My priority is for them to be comfortable, healthy, well taken care of, and happy. I also have experience with giving medications such as oral, ear drops, and eye drops. Although this may sound a little random, I also speak Spanish for those who have pets that only understand that language. If your pet likes to sleep on the bed, I have no problem with that. I tend to enjoy the company anyway. I can house sit any day of the week/weekend. However, I do have another job that I go to: Monday-Friday. Other than that, I’m usually free. Before I go to work or anywhere, I make sure that I either walk my dogs, or at least take them outside the yard so they can do whatever they need to do. I also like to stay with them an hour or two before leaving, just because I like for them to have a little bit of cuddle or fun time. I also like to take them to the dog park to socialize them and for them to have their exercise. I usually try to keep them in a healthy diet but, if I do feed them human food, I always look up information to make sure if it’s healthy or not because, why should they miss out? They loves car rides as well, so I tend to bring them with me wherever they can. They’re my travel buddies. We also sometimes go chill at the beach, and whenever we do that, I always bring a bag of necessities such as toys, plenty of waters, their water bowls, their leash, and doggy bags. I sometimes bring a couple of their favorite treats or stop by a store to get something we can eat.
“Jessica is amazing with my German Shepherd, who can be very dominant with new people. She handles him confidently and gets him to behave every time. I highly recommend her.”

“Sherry did an amazing job and was super communicative! She sent me pictures of my fur baby and loved on her while I was out of town. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jess was amazing with our dogs and even did extra to play with our kitties. She included so many pictures of our babies it was nice to see them being so happy while we were out of town. Would definitely recommend using her to watch your fur babies.”

About: Reliable, active, and attentive pet caregiver who understands that every dog deserves patience, exercise, consistency, and personalized care. I'll treat your pet like family and keep you updated every step of the way. I'm currently a full-time college student, with most of my coursework completed online and only one in-person class at 8:00 a.m. This gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I'm happy to work with your schedule and your pet's routine to provide dependable, consistent care whenever you need it. When caring for pets in your home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special preferences your pet may have.
About: My extensive professional training in animal handling and behavior sets me apart. While many sitters enjoy pets as a hobby, I have dedicated my career to their welfare. I am a National Animal Control Officer (Level II), which provides me with advanced training in safe animal handling for both dogs and cats, as well as emergency response protocols. My Special Skills Include: Certified Behavioral Knowledge: I hold a certification from Jackson Galaxy (since 2016), allowing me to manage anxiety and behavioral issues with a fear-free approach. Senior & Medical Care: Through my non-profit rescue work, I am highly skilled in caring for senior animals, including administering varied medications (injections, fluids, pills) and managing mobility issues. Trust & Reliability: I run a professional organization, so you can expect the highest level of communication, punctuality, and attention to detail. My schedule is entirely flexible because pet care is my professional focus. As the founder of a non-profit rescue, I have the autonomy to adjust my daily workload to ensure I am available for early mornings, critical medication times, and unexpected last-minute needs. Reliability is guaranteed. I care for every pet with the rigor of a professional rescuer and the heart of an advocate. Safety First: My background as a National Animal Control Officer (Level II) influences every decision I make. I am trained in risk assessment, meaning I proactively identify hazards (loose screens, toxic plants, escape routes) before they become problems. I am also fully trained in pet CPR and First Aid. Building Trust: Trust is built through consistency. Running a non-profit organization requires impeccable ethics and reliability. Whether in my home or yours, I adhere to strict feeding and medication schedules. A Low-Stress Environment: Using my Jackson Galaxy certification, I prioritize the pet's emotional well-being. I don't force interaction; instead, I use positive reinforcement and body language cues to build a bond. I am experienced in maintaining a sterile, healthy environment, ensuring that food bowls, litter boxes, and living areas are kept to rescue-grade standards of cleanliness.
About: Plenty of references with my regular customers that I can share. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’ve long been the go-to person for family and friends when they need someone they trust to care for their pets. I also volunteer with Dogs Inc., which has given me even more appreciation for understanding dog behavior and providing consistent, thoughtful care. Hi! I’m a lifelong dog mom and recently retired professional who now has the time to focus on something I truly love spending time with animals. Animals have always been part of my life, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I’m also a volunteer with Dogs Inc., which has given me an even deeper appreciation for dog behavior, patience, and understanding different personalities. I’m physically fit and active, so daily walks, playtime, and keeping up with energetic dogs is something I truly enjoy. I share my home with my dog Roxie, who absolutely loves having visiting dogs around. She’s very friendly and quickly becomes the welcoming committee for any new house guests. Because I’m retired, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, visits, playtime, and companionship. Whether your dog needs exercise, a midday visit, or a comfortable place to stay, I love making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I provide a safe, calm, and trusting environment and care for every pet just as I would my own, with plenty of attention, love, and care.
“Sasha was very easy to communicate with. She asks all the right questions to help her be prepared for the drop in visit. She addressed all concerns I had wanted someone to look out for, and wrote up an extremely thorough report about her visit with plenty of pictures. I highly recommend her for your drop in needs”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
