I’m careful with doors, leashes, windows, fenced areas, and making sure pets are secure before I leave. For dogs, I’ll pay attention to their energy level, leash behavior, and comfort with people or other animals. For cats, I’ll respect their space, check hiding spots, keep litter areas clean, and make sure each cat is accounted for. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs for many years and currently have both, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, ages, and routines. I’ll send updates and photos so you know your pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I’m a dog trainer, reptile educator and small scale snake breeder (so I have experience caring for hatching snakes), and have fostered cats, dogs and reptiles. I have worked with animals since I was a small child. I’ve trained my own service dog and love training with young puppies and giving them a confident foundation. I regularly go bike joring with my own dog. I’ve always lived with cats and am very comfortable caring for them. I own many reptiles and am experienced with snakes and lizards, I’ve also worked with horses (rode competitively for 9 years and managed the care of four horses) and other farm animals. I’m not afraid of exotic animals like invertebrates and have some experience with them and with fish. I moved recently from Georgia and so my schedule is a little sporadic but free, I have a car to get around and can travel with animals easily. I regularly take hikes with my own dog, and have a car kennel for safe transport (the brand is Ruffland). I always double check doors are closed and locked as I had a dog when I was a kid who escaped because of a sitter. I follow instructions very carefully and treat every animal I interact with the way I’d like someone to treat my own pets. I keep pet reptiles and can feed and care for yours if need be.
